Possibly the most unprofessional service I have ever dealt with.
I requested a scrap car pickup about three weeks ago. The man, I believe his name of Jeremy, assured me that he could remove the vehicles without any problems and that he would pay me $150 for the two vehicles. One vehicle being a GMC Safari van... Lots of weight in metal... The other vehicle was a Saturn... not so much metal but still apart of the deal. Either way, we made arrangement for him to show up where the vehicles were in the next three days. When the day came he cancelled at the last minute... we rescheduled for the following week... when that day came... he cancelled at the last minute... We rescheduled for the following week after that for him to show up between 8am and 10am... and to add to it, he now told me the price of metal was down so now he he could only give me $100 for both vehicles. I was reluctant but I needed the vehicles gone so I agreed... when that day came he called at the last minute, claiming that his truck was now broken down. It has been nothing but excuses with this guy. Not only that, it was also brought to my attention that he was going to strip the vehicles and sell the parts for much more than $100... so why low ball me? Yes, business is business but when you make a deal you should stick to it.
Okay, okay... so misfortune can happen but it gets better! After one of my friends went and left them a bad review on Google Places, Jeremy and his family turned around and called the RCMP complaining that we left them a bad review and claiming that we threatened them... we are disabled people in our 40's... we don't go around threatening people... spoke to the police and the office informed us that Jeremy and his alleged wife were more concerned about their bad business reviews and it seemed to him like they threw in the false threats when they realized that the office could not force anybody to remove their bad reviews... sounds like somebody was crying over spilled milk... and yes... there is even more... furthermore Jeremy insisted that when a unsatisfied potential customer leaves a bad review that it is harassment.
The same day that he claimed his truck was broken down... and also the same day that the bad reviews were posted on Google Places, Jeremy had somebody go onto Google Places, posting fake good reviews to attempt to counteract the negative star the we gave them earlier. How do I know it was fake reviews in attempts to counteract out negative one? Simple... the fake review was claiming that he had just picked up three cars that day and did such a wonderful job... really?... he just did a wonderful job picking up three cars with the broken down truck that couldn't come to pick up my vehicles?
After talking to some people online about my bad experience it was brought to my attention that Jeremy has several driving infractions which include things like running stop signs, playing with electronic devices while driving, speeding, and towing trailers without proper insurance... sounds like a serious joke to me.
This is not about the fact that he couldn't come and pick up my vehicles... I can unload them anywhere. It's the fact that he has no respect for anybodies' lives... setting several appointment and cancelling with little to no notice... the calling cops over the fact that they don't like their bad reviews... and then getting other people to lie to try to cover up his bad reviews. Very unprofessional.
After all was said and done he got some guy who claimed to be his father to contact us and lecture us about how much gas costs and how they couldn't afford to come all the way out to Boston Bar to pick up my vehicles... seriously?!?... so all the excuses were simply because he was advertising his services in areas that he cannot afford to travel to. Maybe daddy should take control over future business affairs... or anybody for that matter.
Save yourself a headache and try a different service.
