Been going here for years, the people are always nice, not very talkative but it’s loud and they’re doing their job. Busy at times but if you get in at the right time it’s quick and as pleasant as a recycle depot could be.

Its pretty good. Long line ups, loud, unsorted line which is kind of cool, never seen that before. terrible hours, closed Sunday and Monday which is pretty inconvenient, but hey you get 10c per can in this province. Worth the wait I guess.

They're really fast at sorting thanks to the systems they have in place, staff is friendly and there wasn't much of a lineup which was great!

If you think you're going to be smart by showing up 15 mins early you're Wrong. There we're people with train's of carts waiting for the door's to open. I cant wait for the nuclear apocalypse so I don't have to deal with this.

Government-run facilities of this sort always suck. Inconvenient hours (8AM-4PM, Closed Sundays - REALLY ??? !!!!!); surly, entitled employees; slow Slow SLOW with long lineups. Private mom & pop recycling centres offer MUCH better hours, better service & quicker in & out service. It's unlikely this will ever change, as Aquatera has a sweetheart deal with the City of GP & is in no danger of losing this lucrative franchise.

Absolute garbage. I countend and sorted 800 cans. At 10 cents a piece that would be 80.00 I took 140 some frozen cans home leaving me with 650 some that were returned. Not even 34.00 from my returns. Biggest thieving fraud pool ive ever seen as far as government regulated businesses go since the government itself

I went this morning to drop off a truck load of bottles. An employee helped me bring them in, and since nobody else was there, 2 people helped me sort my bottles! I was in and out in 10 minutes with a truck full. An excellent experience at Recycle Plus.

What I believe to be the super visor was incredibly rude and hit me in the head with my bag of bottles as I was trying to pick up my bags and put them on a cart as well as knocked over my 3 year old all because I wasn't moving my bags fast enought for her out of the payout area. I do not recommended this depot to anyone and who ever runs that place should start doing there job and watching after there ignorant employees.

The new sorting machines are quick and keep things moving. The store is clean and the sorters and staff have always been nice. Communication is hindered by covid masks and noise at both locations.. Always a big lineup waiting for opening in the mornings but you can usually walk right in later in the day. Less busy than plus one (location not in a high shopping area) and I like that the donation area and drop off for power card is right inside the doors.

Unlike Edmonton or Calgary. They have no express line which means if you only have 2~3 bags of bottles you still need to wait 1~2 hours before you can get in. I guess people need to become more lazy and worth to wait/waste 2 hours of your life for $20. Not smart people run this place unfortunately.

You need a sign that sais wait at the front door before you get ushered in. Everyone including myself just walks in not realizing we have to wait outside.

Absolute joke of a business. They refuse to answer their phones, and their mailbox is always full. I’ve been trying to 2 weeks to book a pickup as I just have a small car. How are they still in business? Get a grip, and answer your phone.

Most people work weekdays therefore EVERYONE tries to make it on Saturday. Ridiculous hours for a city bottle depot. Employees are rude and do things that make zero sense. Won't let patrons use the carts so they(the employees)can sort bottles in the middle of the waiting area.

Saturday mornings are super chaotic. Make sure you have time to wait. The afternoon is a lot quieter and you can usually get right in

Don't bother showing up past 3pm or they will very rudely tell you to go away... what terrible hours of service.. took off early from work to get a bottle run done so my sheds empty and even 2 hours befor they close I got refused.... so sick of the poorly run bottle depots in grande prairie

Most of the staff is nice. Except 1 lady. There was a long line when they were about to close. I tried to let this very kind homeless man who didn't have many bottles in front of me. She decided that was the end of the line and told him they were closed. I am sure he needed the few dollars it would have been. 1 more person wouldn't have been the end of the world.

Tip : Go at the opening (on weekend if work during week). People complaint that employee are miserable, just try to work a few hours in there and you will be too. Also, sort your f...king bottle at home , that will help everybody. Plus there is a few service in the city of GP who will pick your bottles for you if your to lazy and impatient to wait in line. I found the employees very fast at counting my bottle.

I was ganged up on and harassed by 4 employees including a very rude manager. They did not care that I had a medical condition preventing me from wearing a "m." I would have been happy to wait at the door and allow them to process my order, IF they had have approached me KINDLY, upon entrance, and explained the policy to me. However, that's not what happened. I was halfway through my order when I was singled out, ganged up on, humiliated in front of other customers and was unceremoniously kicked out and not even allowed to wash my hands (because that's really sanitary). Also they did not process all my bags as they left one behind for me to take home. When the manager brought me my money she had a snippy tone and an ignorant look on her face. I won't be returning. I'll go to a depot that respects their customers and doesn't discriminate. I've never been treated so rudely.
