My favourite place to buy parts for the vehicles is this Part Source. The staff are friendly, and seem to remember their regular customers. Many say they're expensive, but I always do a price shop before I buy, and 9/10 times they're cheaper or equal. Store is clean, and organized. My favourite part of this store is that I'm not treated like I'm stupid. I'm not mechanically inclined, but they will take the time to explain what I need to know and if I didn't get it right, they help me figure it out. This weekend we inadvertently bought the wrong type of rotors and they got them switched to the proper ones with zero issues. I recommend them to anyone.

Stopped by to grab a few things for my A4. When I approached the service desk to find the location of the items i was looking for the staff were extremely knowledgable and found the items i was looking for within seconds. Staff were also very knowledgable about my specific vehicle and made recommendations of what would fit and tips on how to perform specific tasks efficiently and professionally with minimal error (she really knew what she was talking about). Overall i recommend this place to anyone whether you're just starting to work on your car for maintenance and need a few tips or if you've been working on your build and need some ideas and tools. Amazing location and great low prices.

I will never go back to this store again. They gave me the wrong part, when I went to exchange it, the guy seemed like he didn’t know what he was doing, didn’t know how to look for the right part. He tried to ask a coworker but they weren’t very helpful. There was a lady behind the counter on the phone out where everyone was able to hear the conversation, and she was very loud and rude with the customer she was talking too. All the staff here seem grumpy, unhappy, and know anything about cars.

I have been to this place many times and have been helped by a few good people, but it only took one call and a lazy person to pick up the phone to ruin my experience. I was asking for a price in regards to a flyer, and the person proceeded to give me the I don't know crap. I asked if someone else knows about the sale and he said he believes its not on sale. Since he said its not on sale, I asked how much the price is currently for the item in question. His response was "I don't know, I don't work at the front". It is this type of idiocy that ruin my experience...

This used to be a great store, went last week, it will be my last time going here. While the majority of the staff here are fantastic, staff member Dana is rude, condescending and dismissive to customers. Between her constant eye rolls, rude comments and just what I felt as a utter contempt for customers, I will not go back to this store again.

Perfectly acceptable portion of the PartsSource chain, all the staff is nice, knowledgeable and friendly; they don't stock anything super out of the ordinary on the shelves but in that you won't be disappointed. Very decent parts selection in the back for typical replacements. Check out the reduced bin they usually have by the entrance, love when they do that.

Great place for your automotive needs. Rather it be synthetic oil for your car, light bulbs, car mats, air fresheners, anything engine related. I understand that the staff can be busy on the phone dealing with commercial customers or assisting other customers in store. However patience is needed because sometimes they can be under staffed so if you don't want to wait around. I suggest you call ahead before you make a purchase at the store other than that it's one of my favorite places to shop for my auto needs!

They are the closest to my house, so I keep wanting them to be good. But I am disappointed every time. If you want something for a modern or newer car, just go to Canadian Tire. If you need something for an older car, or a more specialized item go to Benson.

Nice & Courteous. My son bought a car battery for his car but it's been less than a year and he has to jump start it everyday the past 2 weeks. I called Part Source and told them our problem and the lady on the phone told me to bring the battery in so that they can check it and do a warrantee exchange. She was very nice and courteous. Now, we'll have to wait for the weather to warm up a little as it's too cold for us to hold the tools to get the battery out of the car. I don't shop for car parts often but when I do, I've only shopped at this store for my car parts as it was recommended by my mechanic. So far the service has been great.

Your milage may vary with the staff, but the times that I've been there, they've been very helpful and knowledgeable. I felt that the ones that helped me were honest. The prices aren't the best and for most stuff I can find the same thing elsewhere for cheaper. But if you go during a sale, you can find good deals. Lots of parking spaces, which is a plus. They also have a tool loaning service.

Everytime I have gone in there the customer service has been amazing!! Even for the simple things; key cutting or windshield wiper replacements etc. Quick to find answers for you, if they don't already know the answer (they usually do). Plus, I love that they go the extra mile. E.g., came out of the store to help me get my old wiper blade off- when they noticed I was fighting with it. Thank you! I will be back!

I have been dealing with this store for about a month now . The staff is friendly and knowledgeable , Vic, Susan, Mgr Bruce , and the rest have looked after me and my classic 1969 Camaro SS with hard to come by parts without paying the duty and freight charges you get when you order parts from the USA. Next day delivery and reasonable pricing . This is my go to parts store all things classic and daily driver.

I had been referred to them by Canadian Tire to order a part. The person at Canadian Tire checked their system to make sure they had it in stock. When I called to order the part the person over the phone heard the age of the car, laughed and said they wouldn't stock anything that old... It's 25yrs. I hung up at that point and ordered the part from NAPA with no problems.

Canadian Tire's version of a parts store. A lot of the staff have no idea what they are selling. I came in looking for a block tester. The guy on the phone had never heard of it, but managed to find the fluid on the shelf. When I came in expecting to get the kit too, some other guy at the cash refused to search the computer for the kit or even seek out out the person I had spoke to earlier on the phone. I showed him photos of what the block test kit looked like on my phone, but the clerk just stood there saying: "Nope, sorry, can't help you. Never heard of it. We don't have it." The clerk claimed he can't search for anything on the computer unless he already has the part number! What the heck kind of parts database works backwards like that? I went to Canadian Tire down the road (which owns PartSource) and found the kit for loan right away, and as it turns out they confirmed PartSource rents the same item too. The clerk at PartSource was simply too lazy and disinterested to make the effort.

First off I'd like too say I would rate at 5 Stars however lack of in store products has become a issue . Being in Alberta and having a diversity of vehicles on the road and harsh winter conditions you would expect a Parts Store to deliver a wide verity and options for products such as Oil , Filters and quick access to product. These options have not been a functional option at Part Source since Corporate took control of the store. Under old management Part source would be rated 5 maybe 10 and had access to all the unquie performance parts and good competitive pricing now it seems bunk .I think the employees deserve respect and dignity considering the harsh boundaries the hey must follow . If you need parts Edmonton is great JB Power ,Mopac, Part Source , Napa in the big city's have more competitive pricing and part availability. Just call before the drive it can save you hundreds.

Warning, this store is highly ANTI-GAY! I was really insulted from the workers there, two bullies, who don't know better. Prices are ok, but man, incredible intolerance. I'm just an average looking/acting dude, nothing flamy about me at all, but I happened to mention that parts I was buying are for my partner's car, and that was it. I had to return to the store just minutes after, and the two working there appeared to have had a discussion about me, the way they grouped in their insults to me. Never going there again, and considering talking to manager or suing. Yes, it was that bad! Disgusting! I'm a successful business owner and have an iq of 155, really unfair to be insulted by someone who is there sweeping the floor. Now I'm being a numbnut but I'm pissed.

Phoned in almost at close. The girl that answered was delightful, pulled all the stock had it ready for me for the next morning. We ended up returning parts as they weren't needed and they were great with the return, they even remember you. The store is a smaller compact floor layout than others but they still have all the stock and items you will require. Great staff! :)

The best kinda business is one where the customer pays for an employees mistake! I bought a battery for my car yesterday (November 24th), pulled off the shelf by an employee there. There's a $20 core charge that would get refunded to me when I returned my old one. When I came to install it today (November 25th) I noticed it was the wrong one so I went in to exchange it and also took my old battery with me for the $20 refund and to make sure I'm given the correct battery this time. Mistakes do happen! At the cash my refund came to only 7.46 when it was supposed to be $20 and tax for returning my old battery. Turns out the batteries were on sale yesterday and not today (which I did not even know when I bought it). So even though I did buy it on sale, I was given the wrong one and I now have to pay $12 more, through absolutely no fault of my own. I almost returned it on the spot but then I'd be driving around looking for another battery, when I was so close to being done my alternator and battery install on my car. The customer isn't always right, that I do know. But what I also know is that a polite, understanding and forgiving customer with an easily resolvable issue should be looked after, especially if all it would've taken were 12 measly bucks.

Deal with Leo and you can't go wrong. I'm a professional mechanic, retired now, still do a fair amount of work at home. Partsource prices are reasonable, good amount of name brand products to choose from. No hassles with warranty issue. Most parts are readily available, even if it has to be ordered in it can just be a matter of hours, not days. I've been dealing with this location for at least 15 years now.

They're currently going through an inventory reorganization so parts may be in store but the staff has a difficult time finding them. Also, accuracy of parts is questionable. Inventory ☆☆☆☆☆ Prices ☆☆☆☆☆ Customer eccentricities ☆ I just picked up rear brake kit and rotor to this location. They have great inventory on all makes and models and competitive prices. All great except for treating their customers, specially if they feel your knowledge on automotive parts is low. Here's my side of the story. I begin searching for parts for my car and found Partsource @ Millcreek in Mississauga. I contacted them and inquire if they have the parts I need, there were regular and heavy duty options and it has to be specific to install the parts properly. I inform them that I will find out and will call them back. I contacted the dealership to find out if I need regular or heavy duty, the dealer can't confirm what I need. So I've decided to just purchase both (reg and heavy duty), and I'll just return the one I will not need. I went to Partsource Millcreek (8:30ish). I'm the only one so far and one gentleman in the cash but he's in the phone at the moment. He informed me that he'll help me as soon as he can, and I said it's fine (good 5-7 minutes). Once he told me he's ready I told him what I need and asking if I can purchase both reg and heavy duty, and just return the one I will not need. That's when he start to get frustrated. He told me that I should've called the dealer for the proper parts, which I told him I did but the dealer does not know. Then he told me I should've Google it for the right part number (might as well call me an idiot, no?). I told him I wish I can help him with more information, but i can't since my level of knowledge in automotive parts is really low. Then he started complaining about inventory control on me (the customer) and saying "if you really want" "if that's what you want" you can do purchase both, BUT! So I've decided to just purchase the regular one because at the moment I feel like I am an inconvenience to him, also not to make his day ant worse. Message to PartSource: with the current economy we're in, you can not afford not to have customer-eccentric environment on your brick and mortar operation. It's crucial to train team members to communicate with customers better. Don't let your good business niche ruined by this one easy-to-fix but very important problem you have at the moment. Make your customers (at all automotive knowledge level) feel welcome. Just my two cents.

I walked into this auto parts store along Erin Mills Parkway & Millcreek Dr plaza to browse. It’s part of the holdings owned by Canadian Tire which also owns Marks Work Warehouse. Lots of parts on the shelves but you can also line up at the parts counter and inquire about items specific to your own vehicle. While I was in the store, staff were talking loudIy and I could not stop from overhearing the conversation. I believe one was the store manager...customers should not have to hear venting about other staff and head office issues.

Put their customers on hold for 10+ minutes while the staff stand around (witnessed myself) and eventually get back to the call. I had to go up on my lunch hour to get a part for a customer because I had been on hold for 20 minutes for the second time that day. When I got to the store, it was empty. When attempting to bring up issues with managers, was told "he's on lunch and doesn't want to deal with it" and when I finally did speak to a manager, he: 1) cut me off continually, 2) called me "my dear" repeatedly, 3) continued to tell me he had just returned to the store so how is he supposed to help, and 4) ultimately had no desire to listen or rectify the situation. Our business will not be using this supplier again.

Convenient and close. No issues normally. They got my order wrong today which in itself was not a problem as i noticed it right away. However the tension in the room is high and the reaction from the staff was unwarranted. That I was supposed to go back outside for returns and call and wait inline. An intentionally loud exhale when i pointed out the mistake. Her: "Blue, red or orange?" Me: "I need high heat." Her: "BLUE, RED OR ORANGE?!" Fingers in the air stomping her foot. I reply in a similar tone so now others attempt to help and she starts yelling at them. Snide and condescending. Now i understand the tense atmosphere. If you hate your job don't take it out on me take a vacation. You're not my mom and I'm not a child. Update: Parts counter gentlemen at nearby Canadian Tire shared how they do not enjoy calling that store for parts for the same reason. I now buy my parts from another Canadian online supplier.

Pretty rough experience at this location. I was looking for a new pair of headlights for my truck. I asked an associate about what I needed based on make & model. I needed low beams but I was sold high beams. I only discovered the mix up after I had opened the package and tried to install the new lights. As the package was already opened, this location refused to exchange this product that they had recommended in the first place. In hindsight I should have looked up the exact product on my own, but if that is the standard to which PartSource holds itself, I'm not interested in continuing to do business there. Especially if I can accomplish on my smart phone the exact thing that their associates are paid to do. I do understand the logic of their return policy, but it represents an outdated thought process. A lot of businesses have move toward a customer retention strategy. PartSource should think of doing the same.

Part of the "Canadian Tire" family of stores. I love using this store, especially because I can get printouts of the part(s) that I'm replacing on my car and the necessary steps I need to take to complete R & Rs. The downside is that you can't use or get Canadian Tire money (points) here and price is never lower than Canadian Tire's. So if you're paying by cash, debit or Canadian Tire credit card you're better of shopping at Canadian Tire so you can accumulate points!

Will quickly sell you parts but avoid telling you that you cannot return it. You will probably want to find a more reputable store. I recommend that you avoid this establishment. Part had never been used, tried to return it less than a week after getting it and get the "you can't return electrical components". SO BE WARY WHEN BUYING FROM THEM. No disclosure to the customer. Clearly had never been used which was even acknowledged by the person I was trying to return it to that it had never been used. No customer service or loyalty. Recommend that you go to Auto Value up the road or Napa. At least they appreciate their customers.

We went in today to look for a part for the exhaust. A young guy was suppose to be helping us. As soon as we told him what we wanted he started arguing with us that we are wrong. Ken was just under the car looking at what he needed. Guy keep saying it has 4 clamps. We have a stock exhaust only 1 clamp. He then said that Ken was being rude. He wasn’t. If he was I would have say something. Ken was correcting him on the part we were looking for. He didn’t like being told he was wrong. When he came back he started arguing with Ken again that he was wrong then asked for more detail. Goes oh that’s what your looking for other there on the other side of the counter. We were already looking there we are at the counter now cause it’s not there. Was not impressed. If had listened from the beginning or asked questions would have solved a lot of headache. If we go back there won’t be having him look after us. Don’t need the arrogance.

I will be taking my business elsewhere. I think I have had to return about 75% of the parts I purchase because they give me the wrong item. They go through there little data base then you see the scared look in there eyes where they don’t know what they need. Then they panic and pick something close which is often wrong. I have frequented this store many times, but usually avoided the parts counter for their lack of knowledgable and well trained staff. To thier credit this location has stopped hiring clueless teenagers in the past year, for a modestly more knowledgable staff that does provide good customer service, Untill yesterday. I purchased a ball joint for a family members vehicle and when I unpacked it at home found that it was not the part I needed. I tried returning the part today, no help there either. They said they couldn't return a product that "wasn't thiers". The two lessons I learned are to always unpack the part from the packaging when purchasing, and to never go to parts source again. They turned me away refusing to return a $75 part I have no use for or any clue what vehicle it's for. And now I'm stuck with a useless part by the incompitance of their staff. Where did the proper part go? Was it shuffled by another associate? Packaged improperly by thier suppliers? Returned by a dishonest customer in the wrong packaging, and not checked by the parts counter staff? Who knows, but its known that I get the privilage of paying for that mistake. Dealt with Hunter twice both times had a negative experience. First time: after getting a quote for a caliper over the phone with another sales rep. Went in to pay for my order and hunter promptly marked up the price adding an additional $5 to my original quote. I called him out and asked why the price hike. His response was maybe this side is prone to more accidents "maybe". My response was well then why was I given the wrog price? Hunter just shrugged his shoulders. 2nd time: went to return a defensive brake bleeding tool kit. The part didn't hold pressure Hunter tried it at the tip without testing the complete unit with other attachments and said. Sorry can't return it. Went to another location and as the partsource website states the part was in it's original package and and had my receipt. The other partsource location exchange it no problem. I get hunter is trying to save the location money however when the part is returned with its original package and reciept and not used as it didn't hold pressure. Then at this point hunter is hurting the business because merivale just lost my business. If you go into partsource merivale don't expect hunter to accept returns. You can expect hunter to mark up prices. Poor customer service skills, interpreting the policy as he sees fit, looking to gauge customers. One thing to keep in mind hunter is customers pay your salary with their hard earned money. You might be doing the business more harm than good.

Update: While some companies have pivoted during the COVID lockdown, this is not one of them. There is something fundamentally wrong with management, let alone the staff who seem to lack the very basic common sense to be in a retail business. Thanks for definitively giving me a reason to never do business here again. I have used this location numerous times in the past but after today's experience, I may have to rethink that. Service was inexplicably slow and all staff fail to acknowledge any customers that were waiting. It seems like no one wanted to be there and this was only a couple of hours after opening. One cashier ran out of staples and decided to go looking for staples rather than help the next customer...all the while you can hear the manager talking on the phone. As I said, previous experiences were great but today was horrendous and staff need to be reminded, without customers there would be no business.

Went to buy replacement wipers for my BMW X3 as they advertise on signage outside they install for you when u buy. Well when I asked if he can install it for me he said to me (in a not very friendly way) ‘only if you ask nicely’.. I thought I did?? Maybe he wanted me to beg? I said your sign outside says you will.. and he says the same thing to me again? I was thinking what’s up with this guy? Anyway getting the correct wiper replacement was another issue. So then he told me to stay inside and he goes out to replace my wipers and it was obvious he didn’t want to do it... he went to my car, took a one look and turned around and came back in and says he can’t do it because the wipers are hidden in the hood? The whole experience was unprofessional and rude. Just the way he spoke to customers is a turn off but I needed the wipers as it was broken. I went home and checked it out on utube and installed it my self.. the solution is to turn the wipers on until the wipers are upright then turn off car to allow you to easily slip the old wipers off and snap the new one on. Glad I figured it out myself so next time I can do it myself. You would think he would know how to do this especially since they ADVERTISE IT??? Needles to say will never go back to Part Source again as it’s not the first time I got unfriendly service. They don’t like their jobs at Part Source so why give them your business. IDIOTS.

Honestly worst experience I ever had, they made mistake on my order, and gave me the wrong parts. I received the brake pads and rotors for 2 different cars. When I called to tell them about the mistake the guy got angry and started swearing to someone while I'm on the phone. I waited over an hour for them to figure out the mistake. I am still so mad even as I type this. If I could give this store negative stars I would but regrettably, I have to give them one star. I see a few complaints about customer service at this location in the last few weeks. All I can is it is brutal. Brutal. Alternator bought for car was faulty and after a few hundred dollars to diagnose and get to that point, the only thing part source will do is exchange the alternator that we just bought? No standing behind the fact that the alternator was defective to begin with and that we had to spend time and money diagnosing and installing a bad product. Quite frankly at this point I don’t want another faulty alternator thank you very much. Will never deal with this store ever again.

He said the VIN would not help him at all, even though it would bring up everything on the truck. I went over to Kipp Scott GMC and the parts person was pleasant to deal with and he found what I needed in a matter of seconds. I would recommend going to Kipp Scott for parts service for GM parts.

I would have rated 5 stars for partsource but my last visit infuriated me. I purchased a brake caliper to replace and old one and was told I would recieve a refund of $118 for my core. I paid by cash so naturally I was anticipating a cash refund. I was never informed to bring a debit with me in the event they were short on cash to refund me. However they wouldn't take the cash from the till to refund me as it would take a lot of their till. Regardless I drove 30 km to get there, now 30 more to go home to get my bank card to drive another 60 km round trip. I drive a full size truck and the gas alone is costing me almost half of my refund not to mention the time in traffic to make this drive again. As a customer I was done wrong and if partsource doesn't take care of this is some sort of way I will end my 15 year run of buying from them.

Drive an hour to the store to pay for brake calipers that need to be ordered. Can't take a credit card over the phone for some reason. The counter guy called in the order and said 2-3 week delivery. Not a big deal because I can't find them anywhere else and they assure me they can get them. Next morning I get a call to tell me that they actually can't get the calipers and to come in to get refunded. Well I ask them to just reverse charges or do it over the phone. Can't do that either. Now I have to go drive an hour again to get a refund for the calipers they said would be no problem to get. Total incompetence by the company. The guy on the counter was good, but Parts Source is useless.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I have visited this location multiple times knowing exactly what part I need and still have never received the correct part the first time. This has also happened at other PartSource locations around but this specific location is the only one with a 0% correctness rating. And no, this is not because I asked for the wrong part. This is because the wrong one is picked off the shelf and given to me. I only notice that it is wrong when trying to install it and it doesn't fit. So i go look up the part number on their website and see that it isn't what I asked for. I will be returning my most recent wrong part and never visit this location again.

I was given the wrong part and when I went to return it I was told I had the right part until they pulled up a picture and realized their mistake. I had to wait for the correct part to be delivered and once again was given the wrong part, which I only found out after the shop I went to to have it installed told me it wasn’t the right one. The staff is very nice and understanding but can not identify the parts they sell without someone with seniority telling them what their looking at. And whoever is packing the boxes needs to be retrained. I had no issue returning the part but personally I don’t think I will be using this location again.

Not all Part Source locations are created the same. The staff at this location live up to the 'Pros' title. They always ensure I have the right part and If you are loyal, they will make sure you always get the best price. Original Rating: 3/5 I would say this is an "okay" place. They don't always have things in stock that I'm looking for. Today they did have what I was looking for in stock so I went to go get it and was asking a couple of questions about the product / installation / and warranty. The older gentlemen was a touch on the sarcastic / rude side and seemed more like he just wanted to get money and get me out the door. I would say if your in a pinch for something sure, maybe here. But otherwise Try Canadian Tire or Benson for better service and more in stock. Updated Rating: 4/5 Had to go back the next day to return a part for a different one. Different staff on today. The girl and the guy with a beard and glasses we're extremely friendly and helpful. So service you get probably sways from what staff is on at the time.

I wanted to search their store inventory via website for a certain synthetic oil. Could not get their website to let me select the Peterboro store as "my store" So I ended up phoning the store. Both Parts Source and Canadian Tire need to spend some money to make their websites user friendly. Because right now they are probably the worst interactive retail websites on the net.

Normally buy my parts here for my vehicles and for yearly maintenance such as oil changes, air filters, etc. and won’t be shopping here again. Darren was very unpleasant to talk to and makes you feel belittled if you don’t know as much about parts as him. Will shop somewhere that employees are looking to help customers.

Went in and bought castrol oil today as they advertised 40% off. Regular price . discounted price was $32.99 Dropped into Walmart later . They had the same oil regular price $26.88 What a rip off Will never buy anything at Parts Source again.

Really poorly managed. Called to inquire about a part to see if in stock. It was so I drive 30 mins to store only to deal with rude unapologetic staff when the parts could not be found. I have had several poor experiences here including one with the store manager. This is the first poor review I have posted here but really it keeps going down and getting worse and worse. Do yourself a favor and go to the partsource at Laird and Winston Churchill.
