I am giving 1 star because 0 starts wasn't an option. I am from North Carolina, USA and bought a Peterbilt from here the last week of January. They sell trucks and equipment as well, not only salvage. This wasn't a salvage truck. I sent a wire transfer promptly and had the truck delivered to Houlton, Maine for me to pick up. It was delivered on Saturday the 30th of January. The registration I needed to get a title for the truck wasn't in the truck. Not only that, nothing as far as heat, lights, refrigerator etc worked in the sleeper. I made Howard aware of this immediately and he claimed it all worked when the company came to get it for delivery. Claimed he personally seen it checked out. However, all the fuses had been pulled completely out for the bunk so how in the world could he have seen it working the day it left their property??? Obviously that wasn't truth. Not only that, I had to put 3 gallons of antifreeze in it at the truckstop 30 seconds from where I picked it up. Yet they supposedly did a thorough check on the truck. Again, obviously not truth. As far as the registration, I had to bypass Pennsylvania where I was scheduled to pick up a trailer and come back to North Carolina to wait on the registration that was not put in truck. That registration was supposed to be overnighted to me last Thursday Feb 4th but at 9 p.m that night I received an email from Howard asking for my address, even though it was on paperwork I have submitted. It is now Wednesday Feb 10th and I've yet to receive the registration. I asked Howard yesterday to track it down and he said he would but apparently forgot to let me know what he found out. I can't do anything with this truck until I get that paperwork. If I don't receive it today I will be discussing with our attorney to file for lost wages over the last week and a half against Greer Mountain. I haul oversized so I'm losing $1500-2000/day net income. I don't usually do reviews but I feel this time it is necessary and is a fair and honest assessment of our dealings with this company. Trucks are our income and someone being negligent once they received their money is bad business. Just a heads up for potential buyers.
