Brought copper and brass materials for recycling. I was paid $29.10 for the amount. During my visit, I also got a screw puncture in my tire which now is going to cost me $25.00 plus tax to repair. I called Metalogics about my experience and was told that they have a sign stating that they are not responsible for any damages to my car. My advice to anyone going to their yard is to keep in mind my loss and possibly look for a cleaner yard, or enter at your own risk. I personally will not be dealing with them anymore. It was a bad experience and very disappointed with the outcome of trying to make a few dollars out of the scrap metal. When the place was operated under Triple M, I also got a tire puncture dealing with the prior management. They were kind and paid me for my losses on their property in order to keep good client status. These new owners as far as I am concerned had no class at all. To me they are lower than the tire tracks in their yard. I would never again support or recommend them to anyone based on how they handled my past business, and it was not the first time that I had taken scrap metal to them since they took over the operation. I had to waste a whole day of my time taking my car to get the patch put on my tire at Tire Terminal in Mississauga. They were the most affordable in my opinion at that given time to get my tire puncture issue resolved. I have nothing good to say about them despite how other reviewers claim praises. Good luck to them is all I can say. It is very poor business practice on their part to me the small guy who gave them the business of scrap in the first place for diminishing returns.

I have never been so angry selling something in ALL my life! I know nothing about scraps and I was told to come here to sell something and I could get a good amount. Long story short, the guys work there extremely rude, and the item I got was worth only $.05 that's it! WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU TELL ME BEFORE PROCESSING IT! Never ever in my life I would come to this terrible no good place and never felt so embarrassed! I will tell everyone I know not sell any of their stuff here!

Nice clean yard scrap yard where I have never had got a flat tire from debris, tons of room to maneuver your vehicle and or trailer and nice helpful staff everywhere. As a trades person I prefer to go to this yard as opposed to others.

Absolute crooks. The 1 star rating is generous rating. I'd rate zero stars but they won't allow that. I dropped off a 3500 diesel cube van that tip the scales at 8800lbs. I was paid out 2100lbs on it. Dave mentioned a deduction of 100 per tire so that's 600lbs. Minus the 2100lbs i was paid out that leaves a discrepancy of 6100lbs. Dave was clever enough to point out the majority of that weight was in the fiberglass and wood in the bed. One would assume that someone in the industry of metal recycling should have some basic knowledge of density differences between alloys vs other composite material and wood. Dave clearly has no idea what 6000lbs of fiberglass and wood looks like. Mind you I was not asking for full compensation for what it tipper the scales at due to the fact i had several other car scrap pieces in the bed that might have totaled another 500lbs. I simply asked for what was fair. The weight they paid me out doesn't even cover the weight of the powertrain alone. Dave takes 3 days to get back to me to leave me a message but when I show up 3 days later my van has been shredded already and said I didn't reply in time. I hope management reads this message because if you have guys like dave paying out your customers in such a manner. You will profit no doubt in the short run but with such business ethics you will suffer the same fate as the scrap yard you replaced before that. Educate your staff. You can contact me any time to clarify on the situation. Your staff has my shop number. Readers beware, this scrap yard is the lowest paying one. Maybe not per pound but the way they manipulate the numbers is truly appalling. I will definitely not be using them to recycle any of my alloys as there are so many better options out there than metalogics.
