I had original receipt with everything in original boxes and because the one manager was being absolutely rude and not letting me speak refused to return my items and I called toll free number a supervisor then emailed the managers and said there was no reason for them not to return the items and told me to go into the store the next day so I went in and the other manager then called the other manager up cause the one who refused me the day before called the other one and explained that he refused me yesterday so the other manager got snarky and extremely rude and said they couldn't refund me yet i have spent easily over $2000 at canadian tire in the last two months and they won't return my 125 dollars wirth of unopened still in the packaging stuff or give me back my money from my cameras that were on sale for $79.99 yet charged me $199.99 so they made me pay an extra 120 on top of what I should have yet they can't give me my money back... Im a single mom of 2 children and its covid so money is already tight and yet they enjoy robbing single moms who faithfully spend alot of money at there store!! DO NOT GO TO ESTEVAN CANADIAN TIRE THEY ARE RUDE IGNORANT PEOPLE WITH NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL AND HAVE EXTREMELY RUDE EMPLOYEES... TAKE MY WORD SPEND YOUR MONEY ANYWHERE ELSE BUT THERE!!

Exchange place for Soda Stream C02 canisters. They do an exchange for empty canisters. Be sure to call ahead as they sell out quick. Wal-Mart does not do the exchange program in Estevan, I think Can Tire is the only place here right now that does.

They have excuses all the time, but the long and short of it is, it's done on purpose hopping you will just pay the price , instead of saying, no thanks ...keep it ... Stood at Return counter for 15 mins while the clerk ignored us and counted her cash. She finally saw we were waiting but didn’t serve us rather saying we had to go into the other long lineup. Other staff also saw us waiting but ignored us. The front line people are so important to a business. This front line person work in the stock room. Very unhappy experience.

Unfortunately, I had the experience of dealing with Terry at the auto center twice so I can tell you with experience that this is the place you have to avoid at all costs. Terry believes in taking advantage of the people who are stuck rather than helping them out. Below are how my two visits went while was visiting Gaspe 1200kms away from my home in Ottawa: 1st visit - December 17, 2019 I got a flat tire and I bring it to the auto center and asked if it will be covered under warranty as my tires were within 5 years. Terry looks at the tire and said no it won't be as the thread is too low. Fair enough I brought my car in and asked if he could look at the threads of other tires if they were fine. All the other three tires were between 4 and 6 points and he confirmed they were fine. He said if something has to happen to other tires he will prorate it and replace it. I was going to change only the bad the tire but he insisted that I should buy two tires instead. I said okay and got the two new rear tires out of pocket. I asked them to swap a spare tire as well and for this change they charged me $15 (more on this later). 2nd visit - December 19, 2019 Unfortunately, this time I hit a very big pot hole and busted the sidewalls of my front right and rear right tire. I call CAA and bring the car in to Canadian Tire auto center. Terry confirms that he will cover the rear tires under warranty as we just changed it. But here's the catch we don't have more of the tire in stock so you would have to pay the difference of one tire up. The difference was about $100 more for two tires plus I had to pay for balancing again. I asked can you order me more of the same. He goes yea I can but they won't be here before two weeks and I know you are visiting only for a few days. This is your only option and the store is closing in an hour so you have to make the decision right now. Also, he did not changed the front tire under warranty which he had confirmed on my first visit that will be prorated if something has to happen to it. I said okay please change it and could you please swap the spare again. He said sure it will be $20. I'm like what!, you charged me $15 the other day, he fumbled and said oh I did you a favor the other day and we usually charge $20. At this point, I said whatever just change it. This is my second visit to Gaspe and this was my only bad experience that I can think of. It was painful to see that at a reputed place like Canadian Tire, I get to experience such behaviour. Please avoid this auto center and find some local garage instead when you are in Gaspe.

I give this place the worst possible rating I can. I had a manager of the store named sue threaten to call the RCMP on me after I questioned her on a price check in the store. Then she lied to me about why the price was wrong and I called her on it. She then caused a huge scene and actually argued with me in the store over an $8 price discrepancy, and said she would have me removed from the store, for simply questioning an unclearly marked price. This place is a complete joke. This lady should be fired! Seriously go to Walmart or anywhere else. Support business that actually care about their customers. This lady doesn't deserve to have a job. Purchased a "PowerSport" battery a few weeks ago. Brought it home and took it out of the package. It was undersized but the salesperson recommended it would work since it was a 12 volt and meant for quads, boats, and sea-doos. After following the instructions and trickle charging the battery over night. I hooked it up to my quad and it wouldn't even turn the quad starter over. I bring it into Estevan Canadian Tire to exchange it for a larger battery and id pay the difference. The salesperson couldn't test the battery and suggested I come back the next day (an hour drive for me) so I could speak t to the manager because it was his day off. Refused to help in any way. Assured me it was my fault that his salesman recommended me a smaller battery. Refused to return or exchange it since the battery acid had been used in the battery. Don't know how one would charge a battery dry to test it to make sure it would work for an application they assured me it would be sufficient for. Battery had been used once and set in the porch until the next time I came into the city to return it. I had original warranty card and receipt but was still met with an aggressive "you bought it, it's your fault it doesn't work". This is not the type of professionalism I've come to expect from Canadian Tire. Not impressed, do you own research before listening to the salespersons "professional" suggestions.

They blamed we used it after seeing white stuff on it which was from then packing!!! So they try to find another excuse. Customer Service Representative Sébastien at the of the Automobile Department is really a great guy. I do not speak French, he translated everything for me patiently. I got a flat tire during my road trip from Ontario, and there is no exact size match available in Gaspe. He consulted with the senior service representative, called the tire company requesting for delivery (it is thanksgiving long weekend so need at least 5 days), and even spoke to my mechanics on the phone. We ended up finding me some winter tire that fit my vehicle, which saved me 5 days. He even carried the tire for me to the front counter - I really appreciate that. Thank you very much, Sébastien. An old gentleman offered me a ride to the mechanics seeing me carrying those tires. Everyone in Gaspe is so friendly.

I had purchase 2 items from this Canadian tire store for my pool, the items never came in a package and only a barcode sticker on it. They didn’t give me a bag for these to items and when I wanted to return these items because they did not fit the pool I had which I returned 2 days later at the this store I bought them from. The customer service lady was rude and said well there is a piece of grass on it and where’s the package. I said they were in my vehicle in the back only and they never came with package go see for your self you have plenty in the pool section. I also stated I never used them only seen if it would fit my pool and which they did not. She then took about ten minutes wiping them down with windex while the line up was building up behind me before she would process my return they were clean and nothing on it only a piece of grass and which she needed to windex it clean. It took about 15 minutes to process and she could not even give me my receipt back because her printer was down and she would have to walk to automotive to print and with it already being long,I said no to the receipt. She made clear she needed the receipt I can’t have it back even though I had items on it with other things. she couldn’t maybe just leave windex part out of it in which she made no difference to the items and went and printed my receipt and saved a bit of time for the next in line. Rude and unprofessional I will travel the extra mile before I go back to this Canadian tire. If you don’t want any dust or anything to get on the items they should be in packages can’t be like that if the items were never in packages, nothing was wrong with them and not even dirty. I probably had the more clean returning them then when I bought them, being that they weren’t covered in dust when I returned them.
