Friendly, tons of parking and extra bins to bring in all of your recycling needs. Also did I mention its FULL deposit unlike Alpine/GFL in Langford which only give .05 cents on liquor.

We use this facility regularly and appreciate that they take such a varied collection of recyclable goods. The staff are super friendly and helpful too. It’s great being able to drop off almost everything here in one shot. If they don’t take something, they’ll tell you where you can take it, or if it is destined for the landfill to save you time researching. They really know their stuff and seem to love to educate visitors on how to recycle even more!

Always friendly staff. nice to be able to wash and dry your hands after. Love that they also recycle other things like small appliances, soft plastic, styrofoam,etc. and just like everyone else said, not the best parking lot but better than the quadra recycling depot!

The best bottle return business on Vancouver Island is reopened in Esquimalt. I have been going here for quite some time, and was so happy when they were able to reopen during the COVID 19 Pandemic. They have set up a good operation to get people to return their bottles in a safe and orderly way. I had no problems today, and the staff are still helpful and friendly. If you haven’t sorted before you get to the location, you will have to sort outside. They have the carts and the blue sorting bins parked where you can grab them. Then off to the line where there is clearly marked lanes and distancing markers. Once inside, the staff are there to assist you in getting your bottles and cans returned. Thank you for returning to business!

Best bottle return centre in the city! It is clean, organized, and the staff are all fantastic, and very professional. It is so easy to return bottles there. I could not get to this centre Wednesday to Saturday this week so I went to another facility on Sunday and was really disappointed. I have never seen a more disgusting bottle return centre than the one on Queen St. It made me really appreciate the Esquimalt bottle return. From now on I will only go to this facility. Huge thank you to the staff at the Esquimalt store!!!
