Paid for a steering parts for a ford 302 or 351w. Received parts for a 460. Wrecking yard that doesn't know their parts is one to avoid. There wasn't any urgency my order, so no excuse for this. Now I've got a couple bucks worth of scrap metal and I'm out a couple hundred to show for it. If you want something done right, do it yourself!

I went to find a couple parts for my truck. I was very happy to see a well organized lot with a good amount of selection. Much bigger then I originally thought. I got what I needed and the staff were very helpful. My scrap yard of choice from now on.

I bought an alternator, and a battery from this scrap yard. I should have taken more time inspecting before I paid. The alt was functional, but the connectors were seized. There is a bolt for the positive that was all rusted. I took my time to wire brush the bolt, and soak in release oil. The bolt still broke. I had to replace that bolt, it was about an hour of tinkering. The battery was swollen, and holds a weak charge. I have the car running for cheap, so the scrap pulled through. There are better options for your used auto parts, and you will receive better costumer service anywhere else. I'll give a star for the parts, but the customer service at Kings Salvage is offensive. I am adding to this review ( months later). I sent my wife up to get a power steering reservoir (which was suppose to be ready for pick up), they mad my wife and two year old daughter wait in our car for an hour. The part takes 5 minutes at most to remove. I am disgusted with you Kings. Plus you charge me $30.00 for a part I can get new at the dealer for $45.00. I didn't price the dealer first, my mistake... that won't happen again. Sad when the scrap yard is almost as expensive as the dealer. Third and final strike... YOU'RE OUT!!!

Purchased a "low" miles engine for a Honda Civic from them. Engine looked like hell when I got it so I cleaned it up and installed thinking maybe it had been sitting around a long time or something. It was an oil burner from the word go (about a quart every 150 miles). Engine lasted about 6000 miles then spun a rod bearing. I would not recommend anyone buy from them.
