Whent in to recycle my copper. The employee who works there had told me that they do not recycle copper and that they only recycle vehicles. He expressed to me that not only has he tried to update Google with this information on several times, it had failed. As I was leaving he asked me if I'd like a Pepsi I said thank you.

Very satisfied with this company. The person who answered the phone and the driver were professional and pleasant. I called to have my car towed, and I was told that they would tow it for free plus give me $120.00 dollars on top. The driver arrived at my house in 15 minutes and phoned when he was at my residence. I was amazed at the fast service because I was told a driver would arrive in a couple of hours. I'm very happy that I had a positive outcome with this company because before calling Penny Metal, I phoned The Kidney Foundation. I filled out an online form and was contacted the day after to schedule a pick up. I was called by a male named "Eric" who said he works for Pick and Pull. He arranged to have my vehicle picked up on Wednesday, January 16th 2019 between 12:00 noon and 4:00 p.m. I waited but nobody came to pick up my car. I phoned the number "Eric" originally called me from to see if they were on the way but nobody would answer. The phone would ring and ring. I phoned The Kidney Foundation, and nobody would answer either. Yesterday, January 17th, I got a call from "Eric" who left a message on my voicemail saying that we need to reschedule for another time. I phoned back, and again, nobody answered. Today, January 18th, I phoned The main line and spoke with the Manager who was clueless. I gave her my name and she had to ask me to repeat my phone number several times. Once I gave my name the appointment should have showed up on the computer. I was asking her why nobody came to pick up my car. She had no answers. She told me that she will transfer me to someone above her but instead, she hung up. I called back and I was transferred to this other person (male) who lied about all the times the driver tried to call me to reschedule. Then, the best part is when he said, he doesn't have an employee named Eric. This company appears to be shady. Why would a guy in a managerial position (supposed) lie about not having an employee named Eric? He was perplexed why I would call about not having my car picked up??? Of course I'm going to inquire why my car wasn't picked up. I'm giving away a free car to a charity or so I thought. Caution to anyone giving their car to The Kidney Foundation. Pick and Pull is the business that is making money. I'm not sure any money goes directly to the charity. Something is very strange by the way I was treated. Getting the runaround, not receiving a phone call on the day of the appointment to let me know that a driver will be late or is so busy that he is unable to make it, calling the day after to tell me to reschedule but when I phoned back, nobody answers; and finally, today, nobody wants to take responsibility for why my appointment wasn't kept and lying about an employee named Eric who doesn't work at Pick and Pull. Something is very wrong with this company. PLEASE...ANYONE READING THIS...DO NOT DONATE YOUT CAR TO THE KIDNEY FOUNDATION...SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS ARE NOT KEPT, VERY INCOMPETENT AND UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES, AND CONVERSING WITH THE MANAGER, WHO APPEARED VERY DECEITFUL BY LYING ABOUT AN EMPLOYEE WHO CLEARLY DOES WORK FOR THIS BUSINESS. CALL PENNY METAL RECYCLING! YOU GET A FREE TOW PLUS MONEY ON TOP. YOU CAN'T GET A BETTER DEAL. My experience with Penny Metal Recycling was good for the most part. When I spoke with the office, it was good. When the first driver came, he was friendly and pleasant to talk to., but he came with a trailer and my vehicle was in a semi-confined place so he couldn't take it. Another driver came with a deck truck and was able to pick it up. Unfortunately this driver was not so friendly and was obviously angry because I had taken the wheels off the vehicle, even some by-standers noticed his anger. The second driver even insisted that I give him some money back because he had to do a little extra work to get the vehicle up on his truck. As for Penny Metal Recycling, I would do business with them again, but with a different driver. Unfortunately drivers like that leave a bad impression for their company.
