You must have seen that it has an average rating is really positive, and it is founded on a very high number of opinions, so we can think that the evaluation is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to rate when they are happy with the business, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to set scores when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Scrap Yards corresponds to the category of Junkyard.
They don't tell you where to go. There were no directions on where to take speciality metals for the best price. I know commodities are down, but they just give you bottom barrel prices. The only benefit to this place is that it is close to downtown.
The staff here was very friendly and helpful, but it was difficult to get anyone's attention. In general, it's a pretty disorganized place. Big trucks come in and push their way through making it a stressful experience. It would be helpful if they had a sign that gave instructions when you enter telling you what to do. Didn't get much for the stuff we brought in, but glad to know it will be recycled.
Straightforward and easy to work with! I called to have my car junked and felt I was a given very fair price! They scheduled for the next morning and arrived exactly on time. Marty was awesome to work with; he explained the process and answered any questions I had. He also made sure he didn't ruin the yard and bushes since it was a really narrow driveway! I appreciated the great experience!
Received a good price for my copper, and various coated wire. Fast and easy. Backed up right to the door and they helped get it on the scale.
Easy way to get rid of scrap metal
They claim to be open 8-11:30 on Saturday. Arrived at 10, and there was no one there. Tried calling the phone number, and it went to voicemail. There were multiple other vehicles that also arrived and left when there was no one available during the short time we were there, including an entire car on a flatbed. Changing hours is understandable, but if you are going to do that, update your posted hours online, at the store, and say something in your voicemail message, so people don't waste their time.
literally anywhere else offers better prices and you have to pay just to get YOUR money out... ???? i’m good. y’all should avoid this place
Fast and easy. Unlike most
This place sucks. Called them to pick the vehicle. Lady was rude and disrespectful. Hung up on me when asked where is the place located. Also, she stated that the car would be picked up and the money would be given. Waited and the money never came. They took the car but did not drop off the money or pick up the title. Called her the next day and was told by the lady that I would have to physically come to the site to drop off the title and pick up the money.
Been there many times. It's scrap, so it's not a living, but it's nice to get a little back for recycling it. I'm mostly canning but they take all sorts of stuff and the employees are always courteous and easy to communicate with. They print a barcode that the atm reads and gives you cash, or you can take a check.
Nice workers, in office and Aluminum can area. Helpful!!
All metals is a great place to take your your aluminum cans and that is it. I took 4 aluminum enclosed evaporates that totaled over 600#.. They gave me $36. never again
As difficult as it was to say goodbye to our beloved minivan, Ol' Blue, I'm so glad that we called All Metals Recyling. From my first inquiry call with AJ, to rescheduling the pick up with Cory (to give the kids a few more days with her to enjoy one last Charlie Brown movie and DQ car picnic), to a confirmation call with Sidney, and finally, the pick up service with Marty, our experience with All Metals Recycling was PHENOMENAL. AJ, Cory, and Sidney were friendly, helpful, and specific on the phone (I got a quote for putting our minivan down on the first call with AJ, and it was generous considering our van had 254L+ miles on it). Marty was super friendly to my girls and me knowing how sad we were...and he was swift with loading Ol' Blue up on the truck bed. He handled Ol' Blue with TLC and promised us he would take good care of her on the trip to All Metals (with my nudging). After a quick inspection, paid me the full quoted price on the spot. Great, seamless experience all around for saying goodbye to our van who took such wonderful care of my family for so many miles. Thank you so much.
I've been here a few times with aluminum cans. Could you have a more unfriendly mean staff?
Usually busy, but not too crowded. West a hardhat and vest at all times. Pay attention to hand signals and honking of employees to guide you.
Probably ruined the car going there. The dirt road is abysmally bad. The price for the soda cans was 0.4 cents per lb. After weighing and getting a receipt to get the money at the main office I was charged some random previously undisclosed ATM fee (Wth? ) that brought the price to 0.35 cents per lb...
I have sold scrap metal for a decade. All metals astronomically ripped me off on stainless steel sheets. they must think we are stupid.I took my remaining metal to Alter and got triple what all metals paid me, for the same amount of metal. Terrible robbing scrap yard.
All quick. I get in and out rather simple process
Marty from All Metals Recycling is one of the nicest people I’ve met. I’ve never had to scrap a car, but calling and scheduling was super easy and took probably 2 min. I pay AAA for a membership but they wouldn’t tow it from the dealership and it was just a hard time in general loosing my vehicle so the fact that they came and got it was a life saver. I was able to schedule a pick up the day after I called! Marty was so professional and kind and even removed my plates. I didn’t even think about taking those. He even waited 15 minutes while I cleaned out my vehicle and we had a really nice conversation. Hopefully I’ll never have to do it again but if I do I will definitely be contacting all metals recycling. With all the stress of losing a vehicle I thought I would’ve been crying the whole time put my experience was 100% better because of Marty! Thank you
Called All Metals to get a quote for my junk car to be picked up and sell it to them. I would have given a better rating, but felt 3 out of 5 was fair, and here's why: PROS: - The fact they did not charge a fee since both car and All Metals are in the same town. - Being paid for the car on the spot is a plus and the price they offered was very reasonable considering my car was inoperable. stars. *Updated* So the overall experience was great. When the driver arrived, I received the payment for the car and goodbye junk car! Driver was nice and arrived earlier than expected.
This place was professional, prompt, pleasant and I was very pleased! :) THANKS MARTY!!
Doing business here is the best service around.you can call ahead and personally talk to corey or aj for a fair price quote.
Loved the service very courteous , kind ,and understanding explained everything I have no ideas about cars or towing . Very professional and even was early coming to pick up the car I really appreciate the great service I was provide .
They had my car chopped up before the title was even signed over, I could have really messed up their day, And I should have for how little they paid me for it. $150 for a working drivable car is rediculously low. They would make over 10 times that easily.
Very good services but very tricky to find
So much nicer than having to empty every bag, here they just take them bagged. They would get a 5 star rating but multiple times they have reduced my total weight almost 10#'s because..... East side currently pays 5 cents more a # but not emptying the bags is worth it. Also the atm on site to get ur cash right away is nice. I see people complaining about the fee, well anywhere you go to cash a check charges a fee nowadays. If its that big a deal take a check to ur bank.
Seller beware. Dropped off 80 lbs of aluminum rims. They only paid $3.00. I even asked if they wanted me to remove stems all of 2 mins work. Total ripoff Reply to owner: no tires were on rims jist rims .. only thing that was on them was a valve stem which I asked if they wanted me to remove. I was told no dont worry about it. I had side cutters all of 2 mins worth of work.
We received a fair price for our Buick rendezvous, and the process was fast and efficient. I was already thrilled with our service before they even showed up with the truck. Marty showed up with the truck and was an absolute pleasure. He was funny and personable, and incredibly kind. Absolutely blown away by this whole process. Thank you!
Don't expect Cindy to get a metal recycling dumpster to your job when she says she will. Blew me off 2 days now. I have a job to do and she is not honest. Please tell your customers you can't do it instead of lying.
Called All Metal to have my old vehicle removed. Had to leave a voice-mail, as when I called it was closed. The very next morning they returned my call, and within 2 hours Marty was here to pick it up! Marty was an overall pleasure. He had a great sense of humor, and was great at explaining the process. I would highly recommend All Metal for auto recycling!!!
Quick, easy, gave me more than expected for what I dropped off.
Customer service (over the phone) does in fact suck! They keep telling me tomorrow or on Monday.
Took in 300 pounds of aluminum and because it had a few pieces of plastic on it dropped to 8 cents a pound not worth going here lost my business.
Got paid more than expected for what was brought in.
I called to ask if they would take one of my titanium rings that I’m looking to get rid of. ( I have never been here before ) They didn’t answer the phone with the name of their business, just the girls’ name and then silence. So I introduced myself and asked my question. The answer was no, which is fine, but then I just was hung up on. If you’re in such a hurry to get something done, just let the phone ring ( in my opinion) ... bad customer service and I’ll choose the other scrap place in town over them.
All Metals was so easy to work with and Marty was so friendly and nice! He was even early and already getting the car hooked up for me when I got there so he made the transaction so quick. It was literally no hassle at all. I would highly recommend All Metals if you’re looking to scrap a car. They’re super to work with!
Called for a quote on the phone and told them EXACTLY what I had. Got paid less than half of every quoted material.
Great company, a great driver, Marty! He really helped me out this morning I appreciate it more than I can say. This company is awesome. Highly recommend!! Thank you Marty!
I dropped off a water heater, insulated copper, and random scrap and drove away with $60. Happy customer. By the way, enough with the complaints about fees for cash - it costs money to keep a liability like cash on hand. Take the check.
Helpful folks! For getting rid of old appliances making a few dollars beats having to pay the city to take them.
Helpful and quick and easy
My 1999 Jeep Cherokee blew a head gasket and knew I had to junk my car. Searched google to junk my car and these guys came up. Called them, and was super impressed on the phone. Totally professional, told me a time they would be here to get my car, and were right on time. Paid me great compared to the other places I called. No gimmicks when they got to the vehicle. Just paid me the exact price they quoted and hauled it away hassle free. Totally recommend this company if your vehicle every becomes a clunker.
Good people pretty efficient
20 dollars a ton...waste of gas and trip!
Needed to junk the old truck, so I gave them a call. They gave me a very fair offer and set up an appointment to come tow it away (for free). Showed up right on time with a check for the exact amount, picked it up, and left. The process was very easy and professionally handled.
Marty is a great, knowledgeable, and professionally honest guy. The price was reasonable for my car, especially since there was no towing fee. Would do business again 10/10
Good place to recycle aluminum cans and copper, decent scrap prices for those. Most other scrap metal not as much. Make sure you request to be paid via check to avoid their ATM cash payment fee. Your first time there may be confusing on where to go. I suggest calling ahead and confirming what you want to scrap and what area you should go when you arrive, or check in at the office when you get there. The workers have been helpful for me.
I have scrapped two cars at All Metals. This second one I did not realize I did not have the correct address. The driver Monty called and was able to find it while not making me feel as bad as I did for not double checking the location. I had no keys & the car was on blocks as someone stole the catslic. Monty was very nice, efficient, calm & overall helpful throughout the scrap. Thanks Monty!! You're the man!!!
Good take it all
I drove all that way, was two minutes late, he shut the door said he's closed and that I should just give him my stuff. Ok. I had a small bag of items that would have taken five minutes. I work weekends too and I can honestly say it's rare to not stay a minute past closing ever.lol.
I talked to both Cory on the phone, and Marty who picked up my car. Both were extremely friendly, helpful and made the process of junking my car easy.
Easy to deal with. Busy , but proficient.
I’ve been trying to find somewhere that didn’t require a title to take the car and Luckily I came across All Metal Recycling. The amount I was given for my car was more than reasonable considering the condition the car was in . The nice guy who came to pick my car up was named Marty, and let me tell you… SUPER AWESOME AND FRIENDLY! He took no more than 10 minutes and got the job done . Thank you Sir !! :)
The driver who picked up my defunct car (3pm, 7/24) is a credit to his employer. He called to let me know he was onsite ahead of schedule and offered to remove the plates for me while he waited. He was personable, knowledgeable, and the encounter was brief and satisfactory.
you get paid with their atm machine and they charge you for the use of it. sketchy!
Easy because its open on the weekends
Great place to get rid of all that old scrap metal and make some money
Fair prices for your scrap metal large or small...
Seeing my car go was sad, but let me tell you Marty put the biggest smile on my face at 7:30am! I just called yesterday and they came right out this morning, they were super helpful and kind on the phone and in person. All Metals gave me a more than fair amount for the salvage. I wish I had a million cars to give them. Amazing service and employees, who knew junking your car could be such a good experience.
Very easy to recycle metal
