The service advisors were great and quick at attending to me upon my arrival however, my vehicle was returned to me with some damage on my glove box and it was not cleaned once again before returning it to me. The dashboard and passenger side door had dirty and greasy hand prints all over it. On the dashboard and on the inside and outside of the door. This is the third time this happens to me where my vehicle is returned to me dirty. Never had this issue in the past but this is getting very disappointing especially when it is on your steering wheel and seats and you don't notice prior to getting in your vehicle and you get grease on your clothes. Vehicles should be returned clean and not filthy. I shouldn't have to take my vehicle home and clean it after work has been done to it and they should be taking more care of how they handle things when taking them apart so they don't damage it. Very disappointed with the mechanics in my last 3 services unfortunately, I had to go there for the service as it was warranty work being done.

Used car buyers BEWARE!! When buying a used car from this dealership, make sure that you understand their "through us" wording in regard to lifetime brakes and lifetime engine warranty. We found out too late. We had signed the contract, went to pick up the vehicle a few days later, then were told about all the restrictions by the service mgr., not by the salesman. So, If you live in Montreal, Ottawa or anywhere else out of town, you will have to bring the vehicle back to them for every oil change to ensure that your brakes and engine warranty are of any value at all. If you don't bring the car back to them you might as well throw this through us warranty out the window. Please, find this out before you sign the contract or the car is yours, no cool off period, its yours and they will do nothing to help you.

I received amazing service at the cornwall seaway! I dealt with Tammy, she was awesome by far! Answered any questions I had & was just all around pleasant! Needed a part for my vehicle, she apologized for wait time (which wasn’t bad at all to begin with) while she got an approval of the part being covered with my extended warranty. Although the part had to be ordered, they made sure I was set up with a rental vehicle & my vehicle was ready as promised the following day. Thank you for all your hard work seaway staff!

Julie my complaint is there's a $100.oo charge just to tell me what's wrong with the car then the repair bill . What ever happened to a quote on the repair there should be no charge for hooking up to a diagnostic machine, it's like a double dipping . Car is 3 years old and the radio stopped working what's millage warranty got too do with a radio
Service was good, but I expected when they rotated my tires they would've checked the tire pressure. My GMC app told me my tire pressure was low and I had to top them all up.

after dealing with seaway Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC, I am less then impress. The front staff was friendly but dealing with the maintenance department was a nightmare. I was just getting a key programed to my truck and it took over 2 hours to do, then they tried to charge me an extra $40.00 + tax because the said its more work that I had it towed in. All that needed to happed was to take a hand held computer and register the key. It not like they had to pay for the tow or even move the truck once it was towed in. This is a job they should offer to be able too do house calls with but the forced me to get my vehicle tow in which was $70 then buy a replacement key $50 get it cut $10 and then get it registered $80 and they tried to add an extra $40 and tax on with it for labor. On top of them taking for way longer then it should have taken, when I asked an hour into my wait about how long it was going to take the maintenance guy without stopping or even looking at me stated in a aggravated tone that it would be done soon. I was not treated well while I was there and they over charged me for the work that needed to be done. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. If you have a choice to where you get you vehicle looked at, do not choose them.

Having dealt with various dealers and repair shops for 40 years, I can say this is 5 star service I usually deal Jean and Amy at service, and get treated very well. They go above and beyond take care of you. Many times I was given a loaner at no charge if my vehicle could not be fixed right away. The prices for oil changes are close to what it would cost if you bought oil yourself I would definitely recommend the service and GM brand !

We loooove Seaway Chevrolet. Bought our Orlando from Robbie in 2016 -fantastic down to earth guy by the way. The mechanics are amazing. They take the time to listen to your concerns and then excecute a proper course of action. We had 1100$ worth of work done yesterday and thankfully most of our warranty covered the parts, we just had to pay labour! I won’t let anyone else touch my car for repairs. They even offer a shuttle service, that we would have taken if my baby hadn’t of fallen asleep lol. They are knowledgeable, polite and on time. 100% recommend!

My wife has dealt with this dealership for years and she really loved Andre and his team. We went there again when we were in need of a vehicle. Janice helped us with our purchase and she made our experience easy and painless. We drive from London to deal with this dealership but it is well worth it and we spend some time in the area while we are there. We love our new Cadillac CTS. This is our second one!
Service here has been getting more and more awesome. First thing we look for in a dealership are the service advisors. These guys are great. Honest and reliable. They won't change stuff without your previous approvals
I needed nuts for the tire pressure sensors, the parts guy was able to get them without going to the usual , what year? what model? what engine? That was great, the staff is knowledgeable. However ... what really makes me mad is the fact that after spending over 200 dollars on sensors, l had to go to the dealer to spend another $28.57 for 4 nuts that first of should have been included with the sensors. But what is more frustrating is the fact that a simple nut costs 7 dollars. At the hardware store a similar item would be less than 1 dollar.

Wow! These 5 stars are totally deserved! I was in the market for a used vehicle and it would be my first vehicle purchase ever. I went to multiple dealerships in Cornwall and I didn’t appreciate how I was treated as most dealerships would try to pull the wool over my eyes because I am young and making a first time purchase. At Seaway Chevrolet I met with Carole Quenneville and she was very transparent with the “hidden fees” and got me the best price for my car! I managed to get a full manufacturers warranty on a 2012 used Kia Soul through them to give me full peace of mind for my purchase. I was treated like gold through my process of purchasing a vehicle here and they really aim to please customers and work with you rather than pressuring you into buying something that you’re unsure of which is exactly what other dealerships in town did to me. Got a new 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 RTS with the 3 litres diesel a few days ago. Had a super service from the salesman Bruce McDonald and the staff. I have already put 500 km on it in the last 2 days. Really impress with the fuel economy already and it is brand new so it should only get better. Got 8L/100km by itself and 14L/100km pulling a 14 feet enclosed trailer moving my mom!

Your valuable, high labour paying time means absolutely nothing to this place. Making an appointment is the most useless thing, and having to ask for updates after waiting for hours -yes HOURS- is the only way you’ll get a condescending answer. Very, VERY, poor time and service management!! And don’t even bother asking for a shuttle service during lunch hour...or outside Cornwall. Nice to see my hard earned money go towards such an awful garage. I’ll never darken their door again.

I was taking my Spark in for an oil change. Arrived 3:30 and was done and was driving home by 3:58. Super service. Also I drove in to building out of a rain storm and was able to pick up my car also in the building so I never got wet. If Ontario was run by Seaway GM we would all be better off!

Not too happy. 1) I bought a car with a warranty yet it seems nothing is covered in that warranty, not even oil changes? 2) I asked for only a couple services as I didn't have money for the few several hundred dollar services they said my new car needed, proceeded to do one anyway. I don't have that kind of money and said I would see if I could in. Now I'm getting texts about even more services when I still owe money, I complained, was told if I had any other questions they'll have Jean contact me (I don't want them contacting me when I don't need it...anxiety), and when I tried to respond again, my number is blocked-_- Edit: lowered to 1 star from 2 because the people I said I didn't want calling me called me and woke me up, to ask about when I was paying because the person I was speaking to then got blocked from mentioned my review. Even though I mentioned I didn't want to be called unless necessary because of anxiety reasons. So thanks!

I brought my car in for an emissions test and because I got a recall letter for the passenger side airbag. When I picked it up it was shaking so bad when I slowed down it felt like it was going to stall even though it’s an automatic. I called back to inquire about it and they took it in the next day to look at it. They said “it was running rough when you brought it in, we thought you knew. There’s a misfire and you’ll need to replace some things”. This is completely untrue, I have never had an issue with my little Pontiac Vibe and I am distraught that I got it back in worse condition than I brought it in with. I’m never one to make complaints but this really upset me. This is the first and last time I will ever deal with this place.
Torque converter acting up made the drive annoying. Mechanic emptied transmission and converter replaced the fluid and now the annoyance is gone. What a pleasure to drive now. Thanks for the service guys. Luc

Can't say enough good things about the staff at Seaway. Long story short, I had a deal lined up at a different dealership and they dropped the ball bigtime, wouldn't help me out. I needed a fairly specific truck fast and Bruce & Matt made it happen when the other guys wouldn't. They found me exactly what I needed almost 1,000 km away in Quebec, and had it delivered to Cornwall the next day. Sebastien in finance made the whole money-side-of-things process a breeze. By the time I showed up to pick up my truck, everything was taken care of; all I had to do was sign the usual docs and I was on the road in my new wheels in an hour. Extremely friendly, helpful, and patient. They all took the time to answer my questions promptly. No pushy sales pitches or anything of the sort. I 100% recommend them to anyone who is shopping for a new vehicle. Even though I live over 2hrs away, I would absolutely come back in a heartbeat. This used to be a great place to get my car serviced but after waiting 3.5 hours for routine service that should have taken 2 hrs maximum (service advisor agreed with me) I have downgraded my assessment. Second time this has happened to me there so I guess that's shame on me.
Great experience with the Service Department, very thorough, eye for detail was expert, highlighted any unnoticeable needs during the front and back wheel alignment. Took precision care in all adjustments necessary! Dedicated skilled mechanics who performed an excellent job to correct the alignment issues. Smooth transaction except for the hitch not being installed prior to pickup date, I wouldn't have cared if I had received advanced notice instead of arriving to find out it's still on order. Thankfully they agreed to give me loaner wheels when it comes in untill work is complete.

When he went through the car with me he was very well informed and educated to describe everything I needed to know about the car and made me feel really comfortable that if their is anything that goes wrong with the car or has issues or something I'm sure he would be their for me on a dime to take care of me. This is my 7th brand new car that I have bought and let me tell you the Robbie was the most professional and likable car dealer I have met. My husband and I purchased a 2016 Silverado off Janice at Seaway Gm in Cornwall Ontario back in march of 2016, we were floored then by the outstanding experience and high quality customer service we received From her. Several months later, we had a baby and didn't realize that the truck we got wasn't the best for space in the back seat. Our family is growing and we wanted to look at options to trade in or truck for a crew cab, without hurting the bank. We realized it will be more; as it's a more expensive truck, but all we cared about upgrading was the back seat. We went in on a Friday to see Janice, and wow she did an outstanding Job! She ticked off the big back seat box and then SOME! We got a tunnel cover, car starter, back up camera( old truck didn't have), weather tech matts, box is sprayed, and our payments barely increased !! We will return to Janice for any future purchase in the vehicle industry and will continue to communicate with her for any issues or questions we may have. Her customer service was outstanding, very friendly, very professional and an absolute charm to work with ! We got to pick up the truck Tuesday and we brought in our 9 month old son as we had no sitter and she was very accommodating to the idea we had the baby with us. I will recommend her to other family and friends as well who plan to get a vehicle from Seaway !! Way to go Janice ! You rock

Unfortunately my used vehicle did not come with the proper tools for changing a spare tire. My salesman did not know the proper warranty information that we did not have roadside assistance with Peoples choice warranty... it is only a reimbursement. We have yet to hear if we will be getting these tools. It's been 48hrs. We appreciate the assistance we received to have a tech come and fill our flat tire so we could drive it back to seaway GM. Thanks

Seaway GM some people when they give you a refund back on their product on car parts when you pay the regular price what you pay for it from GM you expect to get the same price but they calling you out of giving you a what they pay for at their cost do you not give it to your back what you paid for if you paid $340 for a set of calipers they're only giving you $75 back for them when you're never even use them so there's how GM is towards the public they're not very honest

Hello let me just say i left seay gm about 1 year ago. I had a problem with a traction control wire harness that they changed on my van. It worked for about to weeks then stoped. I was at my regular shop for a oil changed and told them to look at it and they wold me who did that bad hack job chaning the harness. I told them thats was seway gm fine work. So i called seway gm and told them what i was told and the girl i spoke to ashley was her name if i remembered right she told me on the phone i was a liar that ended that conversation and seway gm for all my service needs. I have been dealing with Upper Canada Motors sales in morrisburg ontario and they are super and wow what great friendly service. I love Upper Canada motors in morrisburg now they are getting $800.00 for 4 new tires they are pleased to have a lot of Cornwall customers coming to them in the last 2 years. Thank you seway gm for the rude service i got that day cause it helped me find Upeer canada moter sales in morrisburg ontario.

***Update: Thank you to Corey Wheeler at GM for rectifying the problem! You took my complaint seriously and went above and beyond. I was not expected to get as much compensation as I did! I definitely have changed my mind about going back. *** Normally I have no problem with GM and they always provide me with great service. Unfortunately, this time around it wasn’t so great. I brought my car in because my heat wasn’t working and I knew my car was leaking coolant. I brought my car in on Friday, since I have extended warranty they called People’s Choice. They told me they had to leave a message and would call me Monday to let me know if it was covered. Monday comes around no call. By Tuesday late afternoon I called them, they said they had forgotten about me and apologized. Fine no problem. They said they had to call people’s choice again. She said they would call me back by 5pm. 20 mins to 5, they finally call and say it’s not covered. Okay no problem, I still need it fixed. The estimate that was given to me was 1 and half hours of labour and two hoses had to be replaced at 35.00 for one hose and 50.00 for the other hose. I waited 4 hours for my car to be repaired and returned to pay a $500 bill!! That is not the estimate I had received. I had a charge for a new gasket on there and a connector that I was not told about. Very unhappy. I think from now on I’ll go elsewhere.

This is the worst dealership that I have ever dealt with - a misogynist dealership! I brought my Malibu there to get a part replaced that my regular mechanic could not fix. I was never told that if a part is ordered, that it cannot be returned nor refunded. Of course, it was the wrong part and I had to pay for a $420 part for no reason at all. Besides the fact that I had to pay for a part that was unnecessary, when I expressed my frustration to the Service Rep, I was not listened to at all. I was only told that they could give me a small discount on the part. That same evening, my husband, not myself, got a phone call from the general manager explaining what is going on. My question here is why the general manager will not take the time to call me directly? We are both on the file, and I have been calling and dealing with the Service Rep that same evening, they surely have a call display or a call dial back, if they had misplaced my phone number. Why did he call my husband to explain behind my back what is going on and trying to smooth my husband over when he knew that it was me that they had been dealing with all along. I was not worth a call!! This is pretty misogynist. Finally, when I went got the car and payed for my overcharged bill, it took them 15 min before finding the bill and get me my key, because they had misplaced it.
I drove down from Ottawa to look at a 2019 Exquinox AWD Premier and I was very pleased with the quality of service. I was so please with the service as it was one of many factors that led me to purchase the vehicle. Unlike most Ottawa dealers who evaluate a trade-in starting with a low ball offer and then grinding it out. Seaways offer was very fair and that also counted for a lot. It also seemed every time I turned around, I was hearing about various service offers and extra benefits offered to customers who purchase a new vehicle and some of which were completely free. Seaway has done a lot during the vehicle purchase to earn my loyalty, and I look forward to a beneficial relationship. As for Michael Stiles and crew awesome job. I will definitely be back for service and to purchase my winter tires and rims. Maybe a new vehicle in a few years, although you might have to pry the 2019 Equinox out of my hands.

Was at a n’other dealer for years. Was told by other dealer that my transmission clunk was normal on my 2014 Silverado, broth my truck in to Seaway Chevrolet and listened to my complaint, ended up replacing my transmission under waranty!
