The best place to take your scrap metal . If you have large quantities call Hart and he will give you a better price . Only place I would take my scrap metal .

Staff is very understanding if you have a lot of questions about what you can bring and what you can not bring. I was also un able to bring the little amount of scrap I had so they gave me a few numbers to contact. Very happy with my entire experience. Will be bringing my scrap and other metals here!

I learn something new about recycling metals every time I visit as the staff, both office and yard, 'takes the time' to work with you...no matter if your load is big or small. Friendly environment and they've always helped me make a dirty job, FUN! P.S. This is a great place to donate aluminum 'tabs' to help get 'wheel chairs for kids'...Western Scrap Metals has heart.

Not that friendly staff. When it comes to weighing things for a refund, you expect not being provided the correct amount - probably wherever you go. One day a small piece of copper was a pound, next time obviously more copper brought in still weighed a pound. LMAO

Brought some scrap copper and brass in, and the service was amazing. The fellows emptied the truck in about 10 minutes, weighing was precise and Harmony at the front desk was very friendly and quick to process. Western will be involved in all my future scrapping needs.

We had a 10ft uHaul full of assorted metals, total weight of 1600lbs. got less than $87 for everything. Gave us .05/lb and classified everything as shred metal which is probably the cheapest. Reading through the comments, we were also asked if it was our first time there, ripped off! total waste of time & effort. My advice is to take smaller loads. Do not do business with them! Would give a rating of 0 if ai could.
