My previous visit here a few years ago was not good, so I was relieved that this most recent experience was quite good. The flow of vehicles was smooth, the guys working there (while maybe not super exuberant or in any rush) were perfectly friendly and answered all my questions, pointed me in all the right directions, and in the end I got what seemed to be a very fair amount for the metal I brought in.

Great place to sell scrap metal. They accept old air conditioning coils. They are not set up to sell metal for welding projects.

Price always feels lower than it should be. Sometimes they don't see you on the scale and leave you there for a while on more than one occasion. They post closing time 4:45 but often close the gate at 4:40 or earlier.

Horrible service. Arrived at 4:45, and they tried to say they were closed. Then, continued to try to convince us to come back tomorrow. Should change your name, definitely not "Always buying scrap."

This was our first time using them for our family farm. We had a ton of scrap and needed time to get it all loaded into the delivered container. Mike worked with our situation and was so helpful. Their customer service was impeccable and they’re rates are better than all the other places I contacted. We will definitely be using them next time and recommending them to everyone else!

Not to bad I dropped a bunch of cell tower steel off some really heavy stuff but it didn't pay much how ever it was made up by the copper I had.Left with a couple hundred bucks ???? not to bad for 25min worth of work. Was able to get my cash at the booth up front and I'm gone

Happy with the service. Easy in and out. I called three places in Durham and they offered the highest price for the particular metal I was scrapping. If you haven't been before,, read their FAQ on the website with detailed instructions (w/ photos) on what to do and where to go.

Took my totaled car here to scrap it. Kyle helped me and he made the process very easy. The owner (I think) came out and before he weighed my car asked if everyone was okay (after seeing my banged up car). Gave us mints before we left and was in and out in 20 minutes. Good experience!

The service and people working there were courteous and helpful. Good business. The business/work area w as s a bit scary. You have to weigh your options for the fear of picking up a nail or something in your tires. The long entrance is not paved nor graveled and it was full of deep potholes. The return may not be worth the cost of a flat tire.

THIS PLACE IS UNORGANIZED AND DANGEROUS. ANOTHER SELLER DROVE BY ME RECKLESSLY AND IT WAS TO SKIP IN FRONT OF ME ONLY TO BACK UP HIS TRAILER STRAIGHT INTO MY TRUCK ONLY A FEW INCHES FROM HITTING ME UNTIL I BLASTED MY HORN. THEY NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT PAYMENT FOR THE SCRAP METAL I DROPPED OFF AND WAITED BUT ULTIMATELY LEFT FRUSTRATED BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF COMMUNICATION (WHICH THERE WAS NON AT ALL)
