This place at manhester suck i took a car to scraped it took them 1:30 to thell me that tghe car had a .Lien but it was relase. So they told me that i had to wait a little more. So i got mad and left. I took it tho the advantage on 7 st kc ks. It took them 20 minuttes so i can junk it. So i really dont recomend no body to go the advantage on manchester. They . the are too slow

They're a good place for all your scrapping needs. Lots of people always in line to do recycling, so there's that they all come back and glad to have a recycling station that pays as good as anybody, and convenient.

WHAT A JOKE OF A BUSINESS!! Do not bring them a thing. I brought them 133 pounds out solid steel (BY there scale) lawnmower blades my late father left from his mowing business. I figured I would get $20.00 bucks or a bit more for them. What I got..no joke was $3.25 cents. Take it or leave it according to the guy. Well scrap steel is going for about $10.00 per 100lbs of metal or $195 A TON. as of today's closing. My bad for not checking first and shame on them for treating people like this. Just stay away from them and go elsewhere. Like I said at the start there a joke of a business.

So I decided to test this recycling center. I had 6 pounds of copper with a few ounces to spare. 100% bare bright. They weighed it out at 5 pounds and tried to tell me certain parts of the copper were number 2. Have photos of the scrap I turned in. If anybody wants to dispute this.

I placed this as a five star just so others can see. Very bad experience, especially with the crane operator. He was all over the place, claw was not steady one bit, dont know if he was rushing or what, but he had Trashed our trailer. Demolished a finder and Disconeccted our railing from one whole side. I uderstand they may not be the easiest to operate,but even having the desency to say sorry would have been nice, rather than "i knew that was going to happen". Visited on 8/21 @ around 11:20 ish. I wish i had caught his name.

The price was with market prices., a little slow in their method of collecting cans, and it’s a real to drop cans one place and have to travel a couple of blocks to get your money. It’s an ATM type of setup and it could just as easy be at two locations..the personnel were very friendly and helpful, so I only dropped one star due to their difficult payment method..

They are pretty nice people to do business with. They are not handicapped accessible. so you will have to have somebody walk up into the trailer so you can be paid for your materials. That you take in. Otherwise it's a great experience.

I've been tryn to find a scrap yard in town with good prices, they seem to be the same with other local yards. The only prob is they realy need to clean up, i go 2 screws in my tire. But the staff is good and they don't yell at you like some other yards iv been to.
