There was a line but it moved fast enough. Was surprised to see how clean it was. The staff werr very friendly. It 8s hard to rate a bottle depot but for my experience here it was great.

They clearly discriminate against their customers with medical, religious and physical mask exemptions and do not treat their customers with empathy or respect. While being rude to customers, they clearly fail to uphold the sanitary standards that most other facilities have been held too, especially during covid.

Express drop off is great but some of the employees are dishonest and are pocketing some of the money

Shady as f**k, Rude service/staff, bad internal layout, not enough carts, pretty sure I got ripped off for about 10 bucks of returns. Oh and what kind of place that handles dirty consumables, doesn't have a handwashing station, disgusting environment. Overall don't go here. I'd give it a zero star but hey, it won't let u. If you MUST go here then I suggest counting your own returns before you hit the register or u will be ripped off, and make sure u have sanitary wipes with you because it's a gross fkn place.

They have made every attempt to modernize. You have to realise that this is a very dirty business.We make the dirt ,they try to clean it up ,and make a profit,at the same time provide a stable income for many. Next time you go in there remember we made the mess this is only one of the ways we have to fix it. Another- rinse your containers-be patient-and kind,if you do we we'll all have a nicer and better place to do our dirty business. Take note I have always been treated nicely by ALL staff members. I had my recycling sorted to size and bagged. Having this done saves you from having to put all your things onto trays for the people to count. All was good except for the employee at the front door. He manners were a bit abrasive. I felt bad for a couple people he interacted with. But the whole experience was quick and efficient.

Bring motor oil and paint cans to the same people who take the bottles and cans, don't drop anything at the side bay door or outside.

The employee's are helpful enough, but the system is flawed. An eco centre should have a place for garbage and hazardous waste. The holes for the assorted recycling outside are too small and a person could easily slice their hand/wrist/arm on the cut metal. And there should be clear instructions of what you can/cannot put in sections, and where to dispose of thing you cannot put in said sections; especially now that the bottle deposits are completely automated systems now.

You have to watch staff because they will rip you off if your not paying attention. The worse thing about this depot is that it is gross. As I stood sorting bottles, I was surrounded with black mould. There was a bucket for caps and it was a living cesspool of mould. This place needs to be hosed down on a daily basis. I have been to many recyclable locations and chilliwack, Trethwey Ave is the worse.

I was ripped off for sure taking all my bottles here also felt rushed because the employee insisted on mopping the one side while I was still doing my bottles which I had 5 bags at least with my daughter helping too very pushy and impatient. The women at the till definitely missed counted my bottles I’m not dumb I just didn’t get into it with my daughter there and not to mention I was exhausted from sorting and rushing. That was the last time I go there again I’ll try the other one and if that does not work I will count my own and put them through the express. Stay clear if you can!.

Definitely bring some gloves because everything is very dirty and wear a mask cause it's impossible to social distance. Lots of homeless people hanging around the building. Makes you wonder if it's worth getting a few bucks back for recycling or not.

*In my opinion*. I do not feel comfortable at this depot. One patron approached me and was quite confrontational, another man was also quite rude to me . Non-employees were scurrying and scuttling about in the employee's designated work area and were consequently kicked out by the depot manager who seemed to be accustomed to kicking out non-employees from his work area.

Always super busy with only one teller open. I only have like 38 bottles to take in from the household but im stuck for half an hour in a line up and sometimes longer if waiting outside the door for a spot to do my bottles.The male tellers are awesome polite and dead on in there counting. I give a 5 star to the tellers but, Langley walnut Grove has a more efficient system.

Gross and why can’t they separate the cans like they do elsewhere? They have safety wear and I’m wearing summer clothes. I’d rather throw out bottles than recycle them here. And I think they ripped me off for a buck or two. I don’t really care about the money, but it is slimy.
