Two times in the last month I tried going there on a Saturday and they were closed. Once was Labor Day so I understood but again today. Nothing on phone system about being closed either time. Not cool loading and unloading truck plus wasted gas money. edit: thank you for the response and the offer to take care of me. upping my rating.

Scammers! Went there twice and both times they scammed me on weight! The first time you deducted 40 pounds because you said your scales were off. The second time I left brass and copper fittings in a bucket at your indoor scale and went and dumped my trailer. When I came back inside and your employees never paid me for the copper and brass fittings that were separate from other non ferrous metal. They listed it as steel and dumped them before we could look at them. I would have never left material with your employees if I would have known they operate like that. Between both scams you gor me for about $40 bucks. Argued the first time and got no where so it wasnt worth it the second time. I knew better than to let you fool me twice. Won't happen again!

1'st time customer to this business today. A refreshing change from local unfriendly, too busy to lend a hand yard help. Basic also paid 3 cents a pound more than the other yards. 600#'s of scrap batteries plus a friendly, polite young gentelman employee who noticed I needed help and jumped in without being asked. That customer service is now rare and appreciated. I had a profitable day. Basic Industries "earned" a new customer.
