I had a good experience there in fact I just gave them 5 stars for that reason. I think what might be going on with the occasional negative comment is a combination of anticipation and overestimating. Often when we don't have a scale. Eyeball or hand weight estimations are highly inaccurate for obvious reasons. Stick to this rule when estimating and you'll be a bit closer to the real weight; and that is, whatever you think the weight is devide that sum in half'! Try it sometime and you might be surprised. Thanks Parsons the experience was painlessly rewarding at the very least. MoeKnows!!!

The best place for scrap metal by far, and best price. These negative comments must be from bozos who dont like listening to the instructions of the yard workers as it can get very busy at any giving moment and try to make it fast for you to unload your scrap and get you on and off the scale quickly. Very nice people working there.

Do not go there!! Very rude.. RIPPED ME OFF 40lbs !! Response : Actually it was weighed and the rude lady there said she had to take 40lbs off due to my last visit without any explanation why? Also, from your response... you come out as very defensive and responding to something you know nothing about... Maybe get all your ducks in a row before responding.. AGAIN, not professional and VERY RUDE!!

I don't really understand the reviews, the people there are effective and quick. The service is what you'd expect at any scrapyard. FYI if you want great service go to a restraunt.

If being ripped off and smiled at is your thing, ye be warned on how quickly they will remove scrap from the scale and throw it into piles, weight was definatly shaved over 12lbs, pre weigh your metal or just go somewhere more legit......
