About 6 months ago I showed up with a friend to look at the trucks on the lot. A man came out I assume from sales and asked if we needed any assistance. I replied not right now thank you, just looking at the trucks. The man laughed and replied "Okay, you guys can kick tires all night if you want to". Such a rude way to respond to a potential customer. Anyways I bought a 2019 loaded Ram the following week and my friend bought a 2019 Honda.
My son had his vehicle worked on at Strickland Brantford. Paid 500 plus for service. His vehicle did same thing as before he got it fixed there. He called to see if he could get back in as they did the work. And was told we are bizzy. But we have your money already. Comeback in 11 days. I call that great customer service..
Sales man tries to low ball me on my trade in truck. When I call him on it he says " I shopped around and got you more money for your truck ". To me that says they are not giving fair price. If they can steal a few thousand off you they will. They also got me to sign my ownership before we had even talked about final prices and finance options. I never should have signed it before we had made a deal , this I know now , but I didn't then. I asked him if he was going to replace my ownership and that's when I got the" sorry sir that's on you". Not happy at all with the service I got there at all. So glad there is more than one Chevy dealer around , because the trucks are great . I'm a Chevy guy for life!!

I went in looking to trade my SUV for a new truck. It was not a very pleasant experience.The sales team was only interested in playing the classic "used car salesmen" style games. It came across as very sleazy and dishonest. I dont appreciate being assigned a new salesperson so they can try out their new sales techniques. Example: they wouldn't offer me a value on my trade in unless I told them what I owed first. When intold then it was none of their business, they gave an insultingly low offer. Approach 50% of market value. Give me your best price or dont waste both of our time. The vehicle I was interested in wasn't even on the lot and they kept pressing me about monthly payments. Just an attempt to misdirection and more dishonesty. I haven't used the service department, so that may be the one redeeming quality about this dealership. But if the sale team continues to use these antiquated sales tactics, I was suggest you avoid this place and purchase your new vehicle elsewhere.

10/10, the sales rep was names Chris ans he offered us amazing customer service. He worked with us to get us what we wanted while keeping within our budget. I would definitely recommend buying from this dealership. The experience was wonderful and I can honestly say I have never had as good experience car shopping over the years as I did with Stricklands.

I have bought two vehicles from Stricklands and both have been great experiences. I'll be buying my next Vette from them also. No high pressure sales, but the sales people return calls promptly and find what you ask for. The service dept is also amazing. Easily more cost efficient and fast than most of the quicky lube places. Repairs are quick and neat and I have had many complimentary car washes here.

My step son recently bought a car from Strickland's. I took it in for it's first oil change and was highly impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.
My husband was looking for a truck. Wanted brand spanking new off the lot. So he researched and chose Chevy. Went to Stricklands, about half hour before closing. Met a salesman, gave him the stats of what we wanted in the truck. Left phone number waited to hear back from them. Waited 2..., 3..., days still nothing, called and left messages for the salesman. Went back in after 5 days of waiting. Still nothing, so we headed over to Ford and bought a Ford pick up. Ford really knows how to make you feel like family. We just traded in the first Ford and bought another one. Haven't regretted it a day.
Bought my last vehicle here, and likely my next. Excellent service center. Ive only ever had 2 minor issues with service, and they rectified the issue without question and at no cost to me. Excellent management in the service center, definitely customer focused.

I was looking for a very specific truck and contacted Strickland's to inquire about one they had. Danielle Maher got back to me right away and although they didn't have exactly what I was looking for she worked diligently to help me search. As it turns out I did find what I was looking for elsewhere but I was somewhat disappointed that I couldn't have completed my sale with Strickland's. I'm sure that the purchasing experience would have been pleasant and trustworthy. Of all the places I contacted Strickland's had the customer focus.

Three weeks ago i went to this dealership to purchase a new Corvette and the salesperson said he would put some numbers together and get back to me and three weeks later i never heard back from him so i was a little disappointed so i went back their again on Saturday with a deposit in hand to show them i was serious I went into the front showroom and asked the receptionist if their was a salesperson available because their was no one their to greet me that i was their to purchase a new Corvette so she went into the back office to get the sales manager Todd Farrant and he gave the receptionist the message without meeting me that he had no time to waste with costumers about Corvettes right now for me to come back another time (POINT BLANK) I was stunned to hear that from her and to see how embarrassed she was to tell me what he said so i told her not to apologize for his ignorance that the ignorant cowardly unprofessional message from the rookie pheasant sales manager Todd Farrant wasn't her fault that i would take my business elsewhere!! This to me confirms from my terrible experience with Strickland's and all the bad things i have heard from many people about this unprofessional dealership is true and I will be in contact with CTV news about how horrible the way this dealership treats its costumers!!

My partner and I dealt with Richard at Strickland's and he was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgable about the vehicles he showed us, and really got to know us and our needs for a car. He also made us feel at ease, and trusting - which is not something I can say for many other dealerships we shopped around at. Strickland's was fantastic as a company, but Richard was the one who made our day (and the sale!). He also did it without being pushy, which was a welcome relief. Let me start out by saying this review has nothing to do with the service we recieved from our salesman Chris Samples. He was attentive, patient, understanding, compassionate and worked so hard to find us something, and to make up for his collegues mistakes. So my husband and I found a beautiful truck we fell in love with. We took a month to think it over and decided to see what could be done for financing. We went through their "pre approval" process and were told we qualified for prime 2.99% interest rate. We were estatic! We went in to work on the paperwork. After Chris did a great job of walking us through the sale process, we went to sit with their finance manager John. This is when everything went downhill. This guys couldn't lay on a more fake smile and attitude if we wanted. We looked past it though because he wasn't our salesman, and we just had to sign the papers with him. So we sign, are told we can pick up the truck tomorrow, and head home. Two hours later we get a call from John who says financing fell through. The bank wouldn't do the full amount and we either had to come up with 15000 dollars or get a cosigner. If we couldnt do either we could still keep the 2.99% rate for a lower total finance amount, and choose "a lesser vehicle." When I asked how a bank could pre approve financing and then say "absolutely not," he replied that " banks don't really run your information for pre approval, they just take a quick look at your information and then choose when we submit the final request." I have never heard of a bank doing business like that in my life. What is the point of pre approval to find put your budget if a bank is going to turn around and deny it? So we call back the next day to go over everything that is on the table and suddenly were told no bank will finance my husband for anything lower than 9.9%. Safe to say we were pissed and confused. We never ended up buying from them, and bought a used truck(that was like brand new) from Haldimond Motors in Cayuga. We were instantly approved for prime used car rate of 6.4% from the same bamk they said would never give us a better rate than 9.9%. If you choose to shop here BEWARE OF THEIR FINANCE DEPARTMENT. Go to the bank first before you shop and know what your rate is because they will try milk and pocket on your dime. It is a shame because we loved our salesman and he worked incredibly hard to try find us something to make us happy. It is a shame his collegues dirty and underminded business practises cost him a sale.

I have tried getting more information about a specific vehicle I found on the Strickland website and have left extremely dissatisfied with both experiences. Never have I found such incompetence in one place from 2 separate salesmen. I can promise that I will NEVER purchase a vehicle through any of these dealerships as a result. Hard fail. Neither Alex nor Chris (nor Stricklands) will be getting a sale from me.

I had a very good experience with reception, sales and business management staff. They were pleasant and knowledgeable. Even when I had to back out of the deal, my deposit was refunded immediately without any grief, and I was treated well by everyone I came in contact with.
Big thanks to the team at Stricklands! Not only did they work with my credit which isn't the greatest, but the salesperson Alex F found me a car perfect for my needs and budget (2015 Kia Rio5) and gave me a great deal! Will totally be back for my next car!

Stay away from this place -- I purchased a Mazda CX 5 for my wife through a private seller and these guys facilitated the "convenience sale" (this basically means that the person I bought my car from bought a car from this dealership & that the dealer was going to facilitate the sale) --- I wasn't buying the car from Strickland, they would just handle the paper work (i.e. registering the car to my wife's name). Well needless to say, they couldn't even do this properly. On the day of the trade, one of their "Sales People" decided to transfer the registration of the car from the seller to us and conveniently told the MTO to register it was "unfit" for the road (i.e the Vehicle Safety had expired which we didn't know about). When we took the permit for the vehicle and went to the MTO to register the plates, the MTO told us that they needed a safety which I thought they would have already processed through the seller (they all conveniently forgot to mention that the existing safety had expired and that the car was registered as "UNFIT") -- you would think they would mention something like this as we couldn't register the plates to the car and drive it. When we went back to them to tell them about this, they couldn't offer to safety the car (apparently their mechanics don't work on Saturday) so we had to spend 2 hours trying to find a Mechanic to safety the car in Brantford (we are from Toronto). Needless to say, we could not find anyone and had to tow the car back to Toronto. Thanks for all the help Strickland --- great example of customer service!! Another reason I will never buy a Chevrolet or GM.

First of all I would like to say that when i buy a new vehicle I am one of the biggest pickiest guy and have an eye for detail . As I just purchased my new 2020 Silverado z-71 HD DUROMAX I found multiple little things and some more larger defects that most people would not notice. What people should know and realize before they bash the dealership that Strickland's does not manufacture these trucks and cars they sell them .After this Covid began it is hard for people to get in and deal with problems they may have but I will say that the Manager Mr. Rick Scott and also Matt Warder have went out of they're way above and beyond to make my truck beautiful as it can be .I thank them and the Strickland team for all the hard work and efforts they have done for me .I would definitely use this dealership with any new purchases and add on parts for my new truck . Alex Frisina was our sales rep who we had never met before, he treated us with the highest service I have ever received to date when buying a vehicle he did not pressure us. Alex found me the new 2021 truck that we wanted and made the whole process smooth and easy. I would personally recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to go see Alex for their used or new car needs.
Went to Strickland's to price some vehicles. I found a 2019 and fell in love. I went through the credit process and they tried my application with just me on it and one with a co signer. I told them I wasn't going to use the co signer tho. So a few days go by, we are trading information getting ready for me to buy this truck, then I received the call. "congratulations, you are the proud owner of a 2019" and the first question I asked "it's on my own correct? No co signer?" They agreed it was no co signer. So I go in the next day to finalize everything , then i headed home with hopes to pick the truck up the next day. Except upon getting home I got a call from Strickland's, they said "we've made a mistake, you need a cosigner.." even after I had asked and made sure. So I was devastated... I then went back in and applied for a lesser vehicle, which I was approved for. So I get told I can pick up at 6PM on Wednesday, THEN I get a call saying it won't be ready til Thursday at 6pm. So I go pick up the truck. Anyways I would be half in the air of recommending Strickland's. I was a first time car buyer and I had lots of questions , but they seemed kinda annoyed with my volume of questions. Just make sure you know what you want and stand firm on it with Strickland's.

Bought two vehicles from here over the years been driving them since. The service department is amazing and very helpful and generous they do their best and don't cut corners. There has been many times where they went out of their way and done extra to help me whenever I came into an issue or a problem with my Chevrolet.
I wanted to share my experience with Stricklands. I was looking for a new 2016 Cadillac ATS coupe, automatic, with rear wheel drive. I made an appointment with Shawn, who introduced me to Conrad...we went through the preliminaries and had my trade in appraised. All seemed to be going well, then I was told that they only had one in stock which was a standard. Both Shawn and Conrad suggested that I take it out for a test drive. I looked at both of them and said "are you serious"? And yes they were..there is no way that a standard drives the same as an automatic. So that suggestion went down the tubes. The next option was that Shawn was going to scout around and bring in the car that I was after. So I was going to be able to test drive the car that I was interested in or so I thought. At that point Shawn comes back into the room and said something...which I asked him to repeat. He said that if he brings the car in for me it will be the car that I must buy!! I just looked at him in disbelief! Who would buy a car without even a test drive? I said this meeting is over and walked out. The best part of the story is that I went to another dealership, test drove 4 different cars, and 2 hours later the deal was closed. I got $5,000.00 more on my trade in and to top it off it is a 2017! I don't know if this is how all customers are treated or is this how the treat a woman shopping for a car....either way it is totally unacceptable. Needless to say I would never think of dealing with Strickland EVER! Dianne Cooper

I took my vehicle in for an appointment on 03/27/19 at 10 AM for an oil change, alignment check, tire rotation, the basics. I dropped my vehicle off 30 minutes early and was given a lift to my work. I had to call them 6 hours later at 2 PM to see why it is taking so long because I had an appointment at 3PM. My car wasn't ready. The excuse I was given was that they had a very busy day, so much for scheduling and appointment. My frustration is that not once did I receive a call to let me know that my vehicle was going to take more than a day for a routine oil change. Needless to say I was late for my scheduled meeting because I now needed them to pick me up which took almost an hour. I arrived at Strickland's at 2:50 PM and they provided me with a vehicle (Chevy Spark). I was instructed to "make sure the tank is full when I bring it back". I am writing this review at 9:50 AM on 03/28/19 and had just received a call that my vehicle will be ready at 10 AM after I called them at 9 AM. My concern is what would have happened if I had not called to see what the status was? Why is it taking 24 hours for routine work?
Unfortunately this review is a bad experience. I recently just moved to Brantford and I needed some service on my truck. I had called on a Friday to have my truck in for the following Tuesday at 10am and because of covid rules and regulations I understood they they were probably busy and only doing what they could to keep people safe, still I was looking for a reliable service that could do a job. I had brought my truck in on the Tuesday and later that day I received a call from them apologizing about why they couldn’t do any service on my truck because of the work they have to catch up on the other vehicles. So after leaving my truck 4 hours there they called and said they’re sorry for the inconvenience. I’m sorry as well. As a first time customer I did not expect this.

I was really nervous, as this was my first time actually buying a car from a dealership, I was approached by a sales rep named Alex Freisna ( I believe thats the last name) , He was kind, reassuring and very helpful. He was patient and over the course of two weeks, (Due to some unforseen circumstances) I was finally able to make my purchase of a Chevy Cruze. He was honest and great to work with. Awful experience!!! Salesman Ali no help! Sent new car for hitch package To Chrysler Brantford got used one and electric hanging not attached! Made me drive back and forth to get things done and didn’t get my car back for 3days!! New car but didn’t have it to drive :-( Then comes back with extra key in fob And electric hanging and can’t be attached cause wrong hitch(not dodge) Like what was paid for! So frustrated with Strickland’s Brantford—-never go here they are bad business and do not satisfy customers!!

I went to pick up my new truck from Strickland's today. When I purchased the vehicle I made it clear that I would not accept delivery if there was deficiencies in the vehicle. I gave them 4 days to get the truck ready, which was agreeable to them. The sales person did not show up for the appointment, and they shuffled me off to someone else after 30 minutes. During the vehicle inspection, now having been fobbed off to a 3rd person, the bed liner was not installed. After some discussion, I informed them I should have been called before the appointment that the liner was on back order (as we had discussed at the time of purchase). Reluctantly they took the cost of the bedliner off the sales agreement. I continued with the inspection...The air conditioning did not work! I then asked what sort of dealer prep did they do and billed me for? I was told that air conditoning etc was inspected at the factory, not the dealership. I told them I was not going to accept delivery, send the truck back to the factory then, and after an hour got my refund back...after having to call the bank to prove to them that my deposit cheque had cleared. NOTE: The form reply from the owner below, is just that, a form reply. I shall not return to Stricklands for service on our other two Chevs. I will not purchase a new vehicle there again. They apologized profusely, but still the vehicle was neither checked, ready or prepped, and the sales person did not show until near the end of my 2 hours wasted. Strongly suggest anyone picking up a car there, to VERY carefully inspect the vehicle before signing off, and confirming the appointment before you go out there to pick up a vehicle.
Just purchased our brand new Terrain this week and we are loving it! We worked with Alex who was very pleasant and knowledgeable about any questions we had. UPDATE: Strickland's responded quickly and positively to rectify this situation and I appreciate them taking the time to do so. It changed my experience completely. Thank you. I found two vehicles to look at on the Strickland's website. We drove to Brantford (about 35 minutes) on a Saturday with the intention of checking out and possibly buying if a vehicle met our criteria. After speaking with a salesperson, we discovered that, despite being advertised as being within a 50km radius of our home, the vehicles were not located in Brantford but were stored at lots in Stratford and Windsor. The salesperson offered to find out whether the vehicles were still available and get more information about them. She promised to call me on Monday. I did not hear anything from her. On Tuesday, I left her a voicemail and also sent her an email asking if she had any news for me yet. Nothing. Not an email saying that she received my message. Not a phone call saying that she was working on it. Just dead air. I am moving on in my search. When we were speaking with the salesperson on Saturday, she told us that Strickland's was a high volume dealership that sells 30-40 cars a day. I'm left wondering how many more they could sell if they communicated with potential customers? This experience has left a sour taste and I probably won't be heading back. My advice: Call first before going to the lot. The vehicle you're interested in might not physically be there.

I was dealing with Strickland's Brantford during my search for a used vehicle. I had been speaking with Alex Hunter who was really good at first. He offered to bring up a vehicle from another location for me, and we set a meeting for the day it was to come in. So that day arrives and I have my parents meet me, out of town, to come look at this vehicle. They arrived prior to me and I come to find out, from my parents, that this vehicle that was brought up for me, was sold. I did not receive a courtesy call to say there was someone else interested, nor was I informed the vehicle was sold and so my family drove out of their way, from out of town to be told simply that "well we can't not sell a car". So just for future note, don't trust dealers, because apparently even when meetings are set if someone else comes along, too bad. Money is more important than quality service.

Great salesmanship however terrible for service. I tried to get winter tires for my new car and they were practically harassing me about the fact that I didn't want sensors. Was so excited when we purchased our vehicle. It has been an extreme downhill experience ever since. Constant breakdowns and problems. At least one or two serious issues per year. Staff at Strickland constantly talked down to us and told us everything was GMCs fault. GMC said it was Strickland. The latest issue, had the car completely die...to the tune of over 9,000 dollars. And just 40 days over our warranty. Staff was extremely rude and dismissive regarding our concerns.
BUYER BEWARE - their mechanic did not properly safety the vehicle I purchased, car broke down EXACTLY ONE week after purchase. Strickland's Mechanic mentioned to me they noticed an oil sweat but is not an issue for safety. Manufacture mechanic advised this was not oil but coolant and should not have been approved for safety. Quote from Strickland Rep "There is nothing we can do" This is the type of service you can expect. Update-Stricklands resolved my concern

I would not recommend this dealership. I had made an appointment to test drive 2 vehicles with them. I was traveling from out of town (approx. 30 min away) and confirmed with them that morning prior to leaving to ensure all was ok. Upon arriving, the first vehicle I was to test drive was advised to have been (just) sold, the other was a complete bait and switch of the car posted online. The car online (priced at $5000) showed a vehicle in great aesthetic condition. No rust on the body and to be in excellent shape (there were 15 pics online, from many angles). When in fact the car was rusted all over, and even had the windshield wiper in back literally hanging off just dangling there... very disappoint and lost complete trust in them. Also, in writing this review 3 days later and bringing up the discrepancy between the pictures and the actual car... they did not feel the need to update the listing (very telling). The sales person let me know that he was "embarrassed" about the difference, but apparently not "embarrassed" enough to fix it for the next customer who falls for the same bait and switch

Service department complete rip off. The people at service are trained very well trained to rip off customer. I purchased my vehicle frm this dealership, no complains with that. On the other hand service department does not give a chance to cut corners they have been well trained to overcharge on issues other than regular oil change to customer (which the people dealing with customers at service may have some commisions). Considering of switching my dealership for servicing to some other reliable place. Just went for servicing at this dealership bcoz i purchased my vehicle frm here and I was under impression being a loyal customer i would be treated well on repairs but was wrong. Charged $ 800+ for replacing part in car but no warranty has been provided on labor which was arnd $ 600, only warranty given on part replaced for 1 year and if something goes wrong with install they will just honor part cost and labor will be again on my pocket. If the repair guy at their shop did not do his work well, then i will be the liable for his work and will have to honor by paying for labor again. I have had vehicles from honda, hyundai, toyota and if they repair my vehicle for any issues they will provide labor and parts waranty but this place is truly exception.
The salesman was quite rude after I told him the used van I looked at was "too used". The van was clearly not taken care of at all. He insinuated that I was being too picky and dismissed me. So I went and bought a new one else where.
Took a little longer than I'd have liked to get the service done, but they took us in right away. The guys in service are super friendly and took the time to explain everything to us. The charges were made very clear to us before service was started (which was nice, no surprises). They even gave the car a wash before returning it to us. Definitely recommend their service centre!

Dealing with Strickland's Chevrolet reminds me why I love places like Rockauto. I tried ordering some parts that even Rockauto didn't have and everyone advised was a dealer only item. I placed the order only to have to wait for days for a follow up. When it never came, I called back and of course they didn't have a record of my ordering anything. I wasn't even surprised because the guy who I spoke to in the parts department had perfected the balance between utter indifference and borderline rudeness. So when it turned out he hadn't submitted my order, I just figured I shouldn't have expected more. It would have been easier for me to purchase some steel, buy a oxy torch to allow me to heat it up and bend it to the right shape and then weld it together to form the part I needed. And the kicker? I ended up buying the parts from a place in the US and it was still a lot cheaper after the currency conversion, taxes, duties etc.

Went to buy a cadi from them very poor customer service had to wait almost 45mins to find a sales agent after found one didn’t know if the car was there or sold but I was asked to pay more and the can give me the car or else it’s sold to USA customer and also I want it to trade my 2018 Dodge Durango I was offered 25 to 27k without seeing the car I would never return to this dealer agian I will share this experience with GM Canada as well
So we bought a CAR from this place, it came with a routine oil change.. The one time the service man walked over with a filter in his hand, it was the cabin filter it was dirty with a leaf stuck in it. He said i would need a new one and it would cost $40... I told him i didn't have the funds so i wouldn't be able to change it. (Fast forward) This winter i use the heat in our car, and there is a funny smell! SO I take it in and they said, it needs a new cabin filter..... When they take it out, there is a dried up leaf in there being cooked.... They replaced the filter and guess what? The smell is still there and is no better.. BECAUSE I COULD NOT AFFORD THE FILTER THE SERVICE MAN PUT THE FILTER BACK LEAF AND ALL! RUINING OUR BRAND NEW CAR.......

Have had a lot of work done here. Just got declined an emergency appointment for leaking fuel on my car because there "too busy" . Had other issues with squeaking brakes that were done wrong when I had my rotors and pads changed and also had my air conditioner refilled and within a month leaked out , they wanted 1000$ to replace the whole a/c. They also told me a part had to be replaced at risk of the wheel possibly falling off and said it was loose. When I checked it was fine, not loose, and still have not had anyone else tell me it needed to be replaced since and have not had any issues with it. Poor customer service in service department in some cases. Sales staff is okay.

I bought a used 2009 pontiac wave from them and had it safetied and etested at the dealership. At that time the tires appeared acceptable but i noticed that in wet weather right off the bat they were absolutely terrible. anyways a few months and 5000km after i bought it (I bought it in august and this happened in november) I was driving down the linc in Hamilton and my tire blew out almost causing me to wreck in heavy traffic with my 1 year old in the car. I changed the tire and found that on the inside edge of the tire where you cant see from the outside without reaching around and feeling, the tread was worn all the way through with the metal bands on the tire poking through drastically. It was the same on all the tires. Tires dont wear that much in 5000km with the amount that they were worn, the metal bands were already poking through when i bought it. Also with how uneven the wear was, it had clearly been way out of alignment. so talk about mickey mouse safety. So I call them expecting them to sort it out and im told they arent covering it because they safetied it. Crooks.

I would say that the most outstanding aspect of this dealership is that your calls and messages get answered in a timely fashion even after you put down a deposit (unlikely many other dealerships unfortunately). My salesperson, Chris, was particularly accommodating and responsive. To put it short and sweet, my experience here leads me to believe that this dealership values repeat customers and have shown with their actions that they value repeat customers.

I do not know what else Alex Frisina could have done to make me feel more comfortable with my latest purchase of a 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid. Alex and Leigha took the time to explain everything I needed to know, even mailed my old cargo net to me as the 2019 didn't have one .
I went to this place to get 2 corvette keys programmed. I told them they work but options will not work because the keys are set to fabs 3 and 4 instead of 1 and 2. I dropped the car off to get this done today. They called me and said car was ready but still no options menu is working. I know what had to be done is the system had to be reset and start from scratch. Their gm technician obviously does not know how to do this, because he just reprogrammed them as 3 and 4 instead of 1 and 2. Long story short, I will program my key fobs myself. They also tried to bill me for literally doing nothing. I told them I am not paying and left. They didn't even know how to program keys from scratch, they only knew how to add key fobs. What a joke that place is.
Went in recently to look at a new Truck and the Salesman was completely disinterested in talking to us. We felt as if he assumed we couldn't afford a new truck. I've been driving Ford for 15 yrs and was looking at what Chevy had to offer....looks like another Ford for me. Perception is reality Stricklands ????

I contacted this company months ago when I knew I was trading in my vehicle and spoke with someone who never returned my call and did nothing with information I had provided him with! A short time after Ali contacted me inquiring about my request and immediately apologized and fixed the situation. He listened to my wants and needs and took on my demands positively and very patiently. He has gone above and beyond that of any salesperson I have come across and continues to follow up with me. Because of covid, and having no ride home, I was prepared for a two hour wait, no problem. I found a very comfortable chair in front of a large TV screen. I made myself a freshly brewed espresso, and hunkered down. After an hour I thought I should stretch my legs. Then they called my name...oh, I didn't think it wod be that fast. Sure enough, they were done! And not just an oil change! All fluids were topped up, and tire pressure was checked. Thank you to all the staff! I have no problem coming back to have another espresso.

I only gave a 1 star. Appt took 3 hrs. They left my car with a exhaust smell and its a safety issue. They cant possibly get it in before sometime in January. The exhaust has now made me sick. They are short staffed, why is that? Do they not treat their employees well? However, they put it down to covid. Now i will have to take my car elsewhere to be repaired. I guess my business will go elsewhere. My last 4 cars were all chevs. I guess next car will be something else.

IF you looking to get a fair deal for you trade in then don't go to Strickland's, they tried to offer me 13 grand below market price for my car ... My car was a 15 Ford Taurus and was going to trade for a 15 Ford Fusion, the sale rep tried to tell me that the Fusion is a higher value car than the Taurus which is simply just not true and a complete lie . Don't trust the sale people here!

Courteous, professional and beyond helpful while we kept test driving and changing our minds from a car to pickup to finally making a decision on our beautiful Buick Envision. They were patient, provided sound advice and were never pushy as we experienced in the past with other car dealerships. They provided options to us outside of the norm and worked hard on our behalf to fit in our budgets. Great team and we would definitely recommend Stricklands in Brantford. They were even willing to bring in vehicles from Windsor and Stratford for us. Best dealership team ever and I hope the dealership recognizes them and keeps them around for years to come!!!

i have been there twice with a chevy express 2500 and both times were terrible. your service manager is rude, lies constantly ( he must think the customers are stupid and believe his excuses/lies ) and even your front room secretary is not very nice at all ( on the phone or in person).i will certainly not ever go visit your dealership again and i will let everyone know how your dealership operates ( it is kind of obvious that you guys/ the owners, don't care either way )...looking at your online reviews, people already know...
I purchased a new car and took possession about a week ago. I had such great service from both Conrad and Mark! I was able to not only take advantage of the GM Rewards I had accumulated, but I also qualified for a student discount (And I'm 49!), and a loyalty credit. I went shopping one day and went back two days later to close the deal! I told Conrad and Mark what I wanted and that's what they sold me. They didn't try to sell me more than I wanted. The service side was terrible often late for appointments that we had set. Returned my camaro after one service appointment with the headliner totally unattached and cloth hanging down. Had to fight for a rental vehicle on multiple occasion despite the fact I had purchased a brand new car that had many issues (Transmission control module, misaligned heat shield, rattle in the dash, headliner ) . Recommend looking elsewhere to save yourself the hassles.
Tyler Ferguson was awesome! I arrived at the dealership and asked for the "Corvette Expert" and the administrative staff directed me to Tyler. He had intimate knowledge of Corvette options and bent over backwards to help me make the right choice, taking me on 2 test drives with no pressure. Excellent customer service and a truly amazing buying experience. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Stricklands after driving from Hamilton (through Mark Lovelock). They have always done the right thing and displayed the utmost integrity in our dealings. Tyler on delivery day walked me around the vehicle and spent extra time showing me the features of my vette. Incredible experience and I am very pleased with all the staff at Stricklands. A job well done. Competitive pricing and phenomenal customer service.

He knew that I was very nervous buying a car with so much technology in it and he was very helpful and tried to put my mind at ease. He is such a great fit for a salesman he was amazing!

Despite not moving forward with Strickland's for my vehicle purchase as I could not find the options I was looking for in their lot inventory, they were very fair in their pricing and I would deal with them again without hesitation.

I came in here today to get a quote on a truck trade for a truck I found on line and verified by finding in lot. They wouldn't. Only a ball park figure I was told which I can get online and already have. He said it was too much work to actually give me a quote. Amazing! This is the example by name I use to other dealers now when I call them and they want to get all folksy and visit them. I didn't actually use words like useless or waste of skin to the sales person only because I try to be polite and professional. I just walked out saying I can get a ball park quote online. NO SALES HERE!
I have had no issues with the sales department as they handled everything perfect. On the other hand I have had nothing but issues with the service department. I have had 4 oil changes done there. Of the 4 two resulted in oil from the workers being left to soak into my seat. In the after survey I mentioned it in both of them and nothing was done to resolve this issue. Today I had went in for my fuel gauge not working correctly and with my truck still being under warranty it was covered. I was told that it could be fixed quick and done in the same night. Once I got there they said that they need it overnight which I could not do because of work. I asked for a rental and they said that there was none for me to use, I will just have to come back another time. I asked if there was anything that they could do to cover the half day vacation I used and gas for travelling from Woodstock and they said no. Overall I have had to deal with three issues after only going there 5 times.

Purchased a vehicle and picked it up May 2. On June 13 the vehicle experienced a mechanical failure, resulting in an accident. Vehicle is likely a total loss. Strickland won't even return my emails. Don't do it. They'll charm you, they'll tell you they care. They'll bring out the manager who says "we care beyond the 30 days". But they don't. They don't even return an email. Just don't. They were quick to respond to a Google review, not so quick to respond to the actual customer though. Still waiting. Now, they are full on lying about calling me to resolve this. They didn't call, they claim they called, but they didn't. If Strickland condones lying about a simple phone call, imagine the lies they tell about their cars?!?!

Dishonest Dealership. I purchased a car back in July 2016. I was aware of the vehicle having an accident but was not aware of other conditions such as frame damage. I test drove the car an took to a mechanic in my town to view the vehicle. But they failed to inform me at the time of a structural/ frame damage report when i took the vehicle for test drive. So my mechanic and I were unaware of this. The rear bumper was not fully attached to the vehicle. I had them fix it when i bought the car an picked it up... Prior to this.. On bill of sale states minor structual damage an i questioned them what that was an the sales person an finance advisor stated that was the cost to fix the rear bumper. No indication that there was frame damage. Received a carproof when I purchased the vehicle but the car proof does not match up to the current car proof today. They also failed to inform me of the vehicle being at an auction. They stated it was a lease return. I found out about this when i was trying to trade in vehicle for a new vehicle at a Mazda dealership back in December 2017. I went in person to the dealership an spoke to the General manager an he stated he did not have the file on hand he would contact me back.. He contacted me back that evening an stated that they informed me of this structual/frame damage at the time of the purchase. I informed him no you guys did not mention it when i test drove/ drove the car back to London. If i was informed about structural damage i would not have purchased the vehicle. As explained above about the bill of sale incident stating there minor structural damage of $3000. I was mislead an was informed that was the cost to reattach the rear bumper back onto the vehicle. The General manager stated he would look further into this matter an contact the following Thursday for follow up an i did not receive a call or email. It has been over 3 weeks now. I tried in those 3 weeks to contact him an he will not return my phone calls. So i contacted omvic an reported this and they stated i need to seek legal aid and also file small claims court against Stricklands.. This whole experience has been a nightmare... I do not recommend anyone buying used vehicles from Stricklands. My vehicle is worth way less than what i paid at the time. I can not trade my car in as there will be negative equity. Strongly suggest anyone picking up a car there, to VERY carefully inspect the vehicle before signing off. An pay for an up to date carproof verified report. I hope people think twice before buying a vehicle from the Stricklands chain or any other used dealership. I will never buy a used vehicle again.

I have no issues with the sales department at Strickland's, everything with them went smoothly and I really can't complain. Service is a different story. I've had multiple instances now where they try to sell me maintenance services that are not recommended by GM. On top of that, it just seems like it's always a fight with service to get treated fairly. If you're going to use them for service, ask them whether what they're selling you is recommended by GM and take the time to familiarize yourself with the GM maintenance schedule. I will not buy another vehicle here strictly because of my experiences with service department.

Everything was almost perfect. The only disappointment was I didn't get the original car I wanted because someone bought it before me (totally my fault for taking too long to give a definite answer) and I wasn't able to get free winter tires when we are in the middle of winter. I had to drive around with summer tires(very dangerous) and purchase new winter tires (since the ones from my old car do not fit). Another expense I don't think I should have to pay for as a new customer. Whether the car is new or used we should be treated the same way. I know a lot of people that have recently purchased brand new cars and get free tires (amongst other things) but because I buy a slightly used car I don't get any perks. The sales rep I had was named Thai. He was polite, informative, helpful and made me feel at ease with the purchase of my first car. I will definitely recommend him to other people!

Super fast and great service. Warranty work always yes it is covered. Not Like Dodge. As a nother RV dealership we owned many diesel trucks. Duramax diesel quick 1. 2. second remote starts in negative 20 c . Not like Ram don't even start because chek engine lite is on all the times.
