Called to get see if they had some rims and was told they were going to look and call me back. Didn't receive a call or a message for a week so gave them a call only to be told by a very snarky lady that "You either got a call back or a message and just haven't checked it." I told her no I didn't and she continued to insist I did. She looked up my order and said nope we don't have anything for you, bye. I would have been more then happy to accept that human error occurs or even got something along the lines of "huh that's weird let's look into it" but to be told I'm outright wrong and not giving any sort of customer service will ensure I never try Amigo's again and surely won't be referring people either.

Best spot to grab parts, have a little bit of everything even the rare ones too, and a few at the front to look at for projects, a handy lil shop located in the front as you drive in with a friendly few guys who will help you repair your car if that’s the rust bucket you arrived in at a lower cost then most, and sometimes they have a vehicle ready for sale aswell if that’s what your looking for, give em a shot, can’t say anything bad about the experience so far

I would never suggest amigo's to anyone.I had enquired about parts over the phone four times over the past two years.Every time staff told me they will look for the parts availability and will call me back.All the four times they never got back to me.Looks like customers had to assume that they don't have the parts if the didn't get back..I would give them 0 rating

They sell overpriced garbage. Scuffed alloys are being sold at outrageous prices. Transmissions with no mileage guarantee are being sold at prices of rebuilt ones. Only go there if you have explored ask options and found nothing. Plus the guys over there are rude.

Given a price higher than what the dealership gave me. Lady on the the phone told me “ go to the dealer then ” she then hung up the phone. This place sells used parts why do they overprice parts when you can get a new part from your dealer at a lower price. I suggest to any one to find out at your dealer how much the part is before going to this business. I wanted to save a few bucks by getting a used part so I went to different auto wreaking and got an excellent price.

I paid $590 for a rear diff. This part is $120 at Buck's. They said if I had any issues I could exchange no problem, or refund if they didn't have another. Unfortunately, they're a bunch of low-life pariahs. First, they sold me the wrong part. Then it took them a week to find the right part, which had an inside bearing on its way out. Had I not paid so much money, the extra labor would have been fine. I offered to pay the labor charge out of my refund but they wouldn't take it. To boot, the guy loading the part thought it was real funny how many times the matted, 3 legged dog had been hit by vehicles. What a waste of time, money and effort.

When I got there I tried to take my tools in and was told the staff need to take the parts off for me, and I wasnt allowed to do it myself. When I found what I needed, they Tried to charge me 50 dollars more for a 14 year old used part but for 50 less I could have got it brand new. Only cares about money, and no bargain.

It's a bit of a drive to Clavet but usually it's well worth it. The selection is great and the prices are usually lower than anywhere else. They let you browse on your own and when you find what you want, they'll take you back out in one of their parts buggies which is quite an experience in itself. I get the impression that overall, the Amigo's staff have a pretty good time. Don't try to take advantage of them though -- treat them well and they'll do the same.

Amigo's tends to be a pretty hit or miss experience. I've had times where they have the exact part I need, they're quick to have it ready, and the service is courteous. More often though the service is pretty bad, employees can be quite rude, and the quality of what you get is almost junk but they charge you a fortune. You definitely have to have your wits about you if you're going to consider buying something here.

Lunch break is more important than customer service! I drove out there from the city to pick up some parts for my vehicle after getting a phone call saying they had them, I then proceed to wait in their office for about 15 minutes before someone is able to take me out to get my parts. We drove out to the yard but the guy who was helping me had no idea where the parts were located so he went back into the office to talk to the guy who previously located them. After he got a slight idea of where they were we drove out in the opposite direction and after about a minute of looking in the new area we find the vehicle that has my parts. We get out and check them out and everything is in order, then he turns to me and tells me that he will pull them off after his lunch break, so now I need to go back out there another day to actually pick up the parts I went out for in the first place, wasting my time and gas.

Very annoying to deal with. Called several times to sell my car, was given a quote and told I would receive a call to determine time to meet and exchange the vehicle for payment. Was never called all day despite my waiting by the phone all day at work. I had to call several times about the car and each time they said they would call back after locating the owner/manager (whoever happens to be in charge), I have not received a call. I put my work day aside to deal with their mismanagement and play phone tag. It was a complete waste of my day and I have not received payment or had my vehicle towed. I'm annoyed to say the least.

Service is really good. Prices are just ok, questionable at times. They crush rare import cars but keep total junker gutted usdm cars, which is really frustrating as a mechanic. But i give them 4 stars because theyve came through for me when i really needed their services. Took my credit card and charged it, and all I had to do was pick up the part. Thats taking one for the team. Theyve also delivered parts to the auto shops ive worked at. Amigos has made a lot of improvements and they continue to do so. I look forward to continuing business with them.

After we found the truck and the parts we needed, they assigned us to one of the dismantlers by the name of Clarence. Very nice guy. He was careful on removing the parts. The yard was organized by makes. No running around. It's nice to have the parts removed. Better than lugging a tool box and carry parts at the same time. As for pricing, I thought what I paid was reasonable when you factor in the labor that these guys have to go through to remove the parts. We will definitely be going back for more parts!!

Terrible Prices, Good Selection It's actually surprising how often I am given a price by Amigos that is higher than the cost of a new part. Before buying anything here check the price of the part you want online or at a local retail store, you will be surprised how often the prices at Amigos higher. There's a sign on your way in that tells you they won't negotiate on price. I suspect they wouldn't have so many people trying to negotiate price with them if their pricing was fair.

Make sure you get here plenty early before they close for lunch. I drove up today in a snow storm and have to wait till 1pm as I was left in the front gate till 1145. There is no leeway or wiggle room on their lunch, guess people got to eat and i am left waiting an extra 90 mins for a part that now may not be worth the drive. plan accordingly. in the future I will only use Amigos as a very last resort. I had put 2 stars when i wrote this during my hour lunch wait and was going to go up or down based on my second experience of the day there. i was imediately met with additude as i walked through the door, given a lecture that took almost as long as it took to get my part. my recipt time stamp is 13:11. took less than 10 minutes to get my part and pay for it! but being there at 11:45 wasnt enough time before lunch, turns out it was plenty of time. I came for parts, not a education in demeanor. I could have been in and out before lunch, not putting the staff out or been put out 90 minutes myself. one star......

I was quite upset after I visited this business. Although masks are currently mandatory, and although the business has a sign on the door stating masks are required, the mask use inside was upsetting to say the least. Two employees wore no mask or face shield at all and almost all the other employees would pull up their mask as I walked in. Only one employee used a mask appropriately. The same is true of the customers coming in. Out of approximately ten customers, I saw only one use a mask correctly and at least two walked around with none on whatsoever. Many had the mask pulled down to their chins. Given where we are in this pandemic, this was extremely disappointing to see.

I was dealing with both Blair and his son about a truck they had listed on Kijiji. As I am out of province I told them that I would need to fly in to pick up the vehicle and drive it home, so it needed to be at least road worthy for that. He said that he would check it out and let me know. Later on we spoke again and feeling assured I flew out to Saskatchewan only to find that the truck he recommended was in no way safe to drive and couldn't hit 30km/h without shaking severely. He knew it would strand me in Saskatchewan with no vehicle and he still told me to come. I suspect that he felt it was a guaranteed sale if I had no alternative. These are the WORST type of people. No concern for other people or their safety. Be very careful if you deal with them,

Everything I've gotten from these guys has been completely junk. Keep putting faith in them to do something right and keep getting disappointed. Their motors and transmissions sit in a mud hole, everything rusted and seized. Motor suppose to be good but pistons rings siezed. They always get you the wrong parts, charge way too much. Disrespectful customer service. Try to reason with them in a civil way and they shut you down and yell. Do not recommend.

The staff used to be friendly and welcoming, now they barely even talk to you. The staff will get the car parts for you which is great for most people. The prices are what kill your wallet. Its like they don't understand they are selling used parts. They are like the Part Source of Auto Wreaking, questionable parts and at the worst prices you can find.

Awful experience with Amigo's. Were told they had the part we needed and to come get it but when we got there, they told us they hadn't heard about our order and they were closing. Called the receptionist who said they must not have got the part off in time. Told them we had made an hour's trip for nothing and we got a "sorry" then they hung up the phone on us! Won't be going back here ever again!

The owner of this business is the most unpleasant man to deal with. I came in here for a fuse box that didn't work so I brought it back and they gave me a new one. This one also didn't work, so this time I called before I went back and the woman who answered the phone said they would give me a store credit but I could not return the part for a refund. I was okay with that, so the next day I went back to return the fuse box but when I went in there, the man said "we don't do store credits" I told him that I called yesterday and the lady said she would do the exchange. He said "well I'm the owner and I said I won't do that". I then asked why his employee would tell me you would? He said "I said no, so get your fuse box out of here or we will make you get out". This is the worst I have ever been treated in a business and cannot believe this place is still in business.

Called for rear springs and asked for specific springs that i need for my suspension and i know there all interchangable but they come in different sizes depending on what shock you run in the suspension and i explained how to find out which suspension the car has so i can get the right spring but apparantly i know nothing about my car, and i wasnt done talking and she hung up on me. Pretty dissappointed

I have been dealing with these 'boys' since they had a couple of hundred cars in their yard and they work just has hard today. Use the Internet to try and educate your self on the part you need because they are a high volume business and the life of a yards men is transient. If you do find some one you like, ask for them, give them a tip so they will remember you, do the same at the front desk. Being a complainer gets you no where, but parting with 5 bucks does some attention. Yes there will be times you will get the wrong part, like I said educate your self, when you get there and it is wrong ask for a discount. I do not know how they put up with the rude people on the phone, at the counter, day after day.

They quote you one thing, then charge you another after you get the part. Their yard is the most disorganized place I have ever seen. Employees have no regards for the vehicles in the yards, crashing into them with their service vehicles. Their pulled parts storage isn't organized at all and still takes half an hour to locate anything. Very dissatisfied after using them 6 times in the past 3 years. Never again.

Okay so I've called this place a few times for a few different parts. and everytime i call them they say "okay we will get back to you with a price and a part" But then days go by with no word until eventually i call them back about it and the girls there always have a snotty attitude about it and its like well F you too. dont tell me you'll get back to me then you dont. this place is a good place to go for parts but the service ladies there are stubborn and stuck up B's

Came here in the winter time looking for a windshield wiper arm that broke off in my car. The service was phenomenal. The guy drove me around looking for one. Look through numerous cars and finally found one. He even got stuck in the snow and had to be pulled out by one of the other guys. Great service. Would definitely go back

A well stocked salvage yard, but prices are sometimes on the roof. Returns policy sucks, best you are double sure of your needs before reaching out to them. You will definetely thank me for that piece of advice
