Was trying to find a glass/wine bottle depot for returns. Wife and I are from Alberta and are used to setting alcohol/wine bottles aside and taking them to a return depot for a refund. Depot has no obvious signage, initially found a recycle depot but doors were closed and nobody was around because of "staff meeting". Was told to call out, which I did... Nothing. Tried another depot and got told off by the attendant because I was at the metal/hazardous waste depot. Again, no signage. Was redirected to original empty building. Was told off by an attendant there because I drove up on the scale. Again no signage. Finally was directed to self-service dumping bins, no refund fee for bottles. Change your Google listing, it says "bottle redemption center" but that is a lie. Fix your signage, label something...ANYTHING. And teach your employees how to be actual human beings. 0/10 recommend using location this for anything on your volition.

Rude receptionists. Possibly some more education needs to occur to these receptionists as not professional at all. Would never vote, if given the chance, for this recycling company to continue in collection in our area as it is a mediocre service at best.

Reading all the reviews below , one might think we are all just stupid customers! I wrote the company to say how disappointed I am in their "not-so- new" policy of enforcing no more tall blue bins. You know the ones? THE BINS THAT I'VE BEEN USING WITH NO PROBLEM FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS?!! I was informed that this has always been their policy -- not just because someone was hurt on the job. They also replied that apparently, they have advertised the enforcement of this policy via a number of "local media channels". Most of my neighbours never heard about it and I never heard about it-- apparently because we don't listen to "local radio stations" or read the "local paper". Yes, we do pay VERY high taxes and already have to pay a hefty price to leave out even one bag. Recycling is the obvious solution -- but not so fast! Now, we have to stuff the largest items into the smallest containers. Perhaps if workers can't handle the load, they should consider using more efficient equipment that can lift the bins for them. (I have seen this elsewhere) So much for recycling and trying to help the environment. Oh...and make sure you don't use anything with big boxes. You could get injured cutting them up into tiny pieces!

I AM IN MARMORA- The recycling guy leaves MY bags behind saying that they have to be separated by each material. Everything has to be separated (paper, plastic, aluminum/metal cans). BUT TELL ME WHY IT IS ONLY ME ? YESTERDAY AFTER HE LEFT MY 3 BAGS BEHIND I WENT AND TOOK 52 PICTURES OF ALL THE OTHER HOUSES RECYCLING ON DELORO ROAD, AND 99.9% OF THEM WERE MIXED YET HE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THEM. HE EVEN TOLD ME THAT HE WAS GOING TO CALL THE POLICE ON ME SEE ME SHAKE LOL NICE THAT HE CAN PICK AND CHOOSE WHAT HE WANTS TO PICK UP GREAT WORKERS ADRIENNE BAKER

Giving up on Recycling because of Quinte Waste Solutions. Keep getting those stickers about everything I am doing wrong including today paper waste in the big box. Recycling is not made easy for the average person, easier to throw it out! I tried my best and in the end it was not good enough, Can I get a tax break if I choose not to participate in their recycling program?

Once again they leave cardboard lying around after we carefully follow their draconian rules regarding certain bins. The worker emptied the cardboard, watched 7 pieces of properly cut cardboard hit the ground and then drove off. When spoken to previously about this, he told me I should be grateful that he accepts my plastic that is in a grey bin that I had from the city of Kingston. Come to the dead end road in Roseland Acres and see all the recycling these workers have allowed to go into the marsh, because they don't pick up anything and that is where they regularly compress the recycling while having a smoke break. Would love to pull this BS in their neighbourhood. Too bad you can't give less than 20% approval rating. Contacting them is as useful as a steering wheel on a train.

Just one complaint, but it drives me nuts! Both my garbage pail and recycle box are consistently left in front of my mail box so my carrier (who drives) has no access. The other side of my driveway is a school bus stop so not ideal to leave waste buckets

Terrible service. Garbage and recycling constantly not picked up even though tagged and sorted. Bins thrown around resulting in damage.

So sick of the garbage services here. Literally JUST watched recycling get picked up. They looked in the bin, noticed half the bin still not emptied. Put it down and drive away. The laziest thing I’ve ever seen. Constantly happening.

This is among the worst place you can ever bring your scrap...they RIP you off while your watching and nothing you can do. Please and please never ever go there to drop your scrap. You will never get more than 17$ for anything. Dont matter how much u dropped. They got excuses for everything....stay away.

I never had an issue other than about how they just throw recycling bins around ...i dont have a usable one anymore. Not a big deal for me until for some reason they have not taken my news papers this month ...2 weeks and same thing wont take it and not leaving a note on why they wont take it

Zero stars!!!! They throw my bins all over the place so they can be smoked by cars and damaged. And Why the hell should WE sort anything. They are after all garbage men and that would fall under their job. We pay taxes PLUS garbage tag prices which is outrageous so what are we paying them to do?! Perhaps they would like a platter of teas and cakes left out for them too.

Lazy company who will do anything to avoid doing their job. Lived at our current address for a year and a half, recycle out weekly, no issues. Then, out of the blue, they refuse to pick up our bin. Apparently it's too tall. Extremely frustrating.

I would like to start this off by saying that I typically never write reviews; however, I have reached a point where I need to express my frustrations. For the past 3 weeks, our recycling bins have not been picked up. We have actively been trying to sort everything correctly as per the website, yet with no luck thus far. We pay incredibly high property taxes and clearly to no avail. The service is incredibly horrendous and simply lazy. Of course it's much easier to slam a green SORT sticker on the recycling bins than to actually do the job they were hired to do, but for them to ignore bins for 3 weeks - just ridiculous. I have lived in multiple municipalities in my life time and I have never ever experienced this level of ineptness. We work hard every day and something as simple as recycling should not be the cause of our frustrations when we get home. I will definitely be escalating this matter to our city councillors.

For the past 3 weeks my paper recycling box has not been picked up. I rearranged it twice make sure it was as it should be and yet it remains. Guess I'm paying the $3 for a tag and just putting it all in the garbage. These guys get paid enough and we pay enough taxes that the recycling should not be this complicated

This morning the recycling truck drove up our street, must have been doing 60 km hit the bump in front of our house we were suprised the truck drove right past our house and didn't pick up our recycling!

Very helpful staff with regards to answering my questions. Despite an obvious warning posted on the door regarding the threshold step, a lady tripped and injured herself while walking into the office, directly ahead of me. She was okay, and her husband attended to her immediately after I arrived, but the staff didn't even exit their office into the lobby; I'm not certain what their policy statement is with regard to injured clientele, but you'd expect that they'd at least inquire about her well-being after seeing her hit the ground in the lobby/vestibule and sprain her wrist.

These guys consistently leave recycling material on the ground and toss my containers all over the place. Monkeys could do a better job. I can't believe they get paid for the mess they leave. Idiots!!! I've called and complained and NOTHING changes. Next step is writing the City of Belleville with these concerns but it shouldn't be necessary. All I ask is they do what they get paid for. IDIOTS!!!!!!

They are getting lazy. My cardboard/paper wasnt getting picked up cause it was in a tall blue bin. So I called them and they refuse to lift lrg blue bins. A worker hurt his or her arm lifting a bin of cardboard / paper. Then they wanted me to trade my lrg bin in for small at no cost. Lrg bins cost more then small bins. Today my cardboard / paper was in a blue clear poly bag. It was full and not heavy. Beside it was an empty kitty litter box. They would not bend over and pick it up.

They are becoming picky....I try hard to follow all their sorting rules... now my bin I use for cardboard is too tall.....after 6 years of using a taller bin they decide it’s an issue? Ugh..
