Owner us down right arrogant, disrespectful when speaking with customers. Don't ask a question, he may rip your head off. The handful of times I went there, he was verbally abusive towards his staff, which is family. The extra few bucks isn't worth dealing with this macho man. "Mario the Scrapman" shouldn't be a face of a business. Shameful businessman

Very friendly and approachable. Helpful for a first timer with scraps of copper, aluminum and steel from DIY projects around the house. Sort your metal types out by (priced lowest on top, to highest): - Steel - Copper, low end (braided / stranded wire, extension cords, speaker wire, etc.) - Aluminum (all types considered equal) - Copper, high end (solid wire, plumbing, etc.) Steel is weighed with your vehicle/trailer on a typical truck scale going in and out. Aluminum and Copper is weighed on a pallet sized scale inside the building hugging the weigh scale. If you have electrical wire on a spool, take it off the spool for more money. Don't worry about sheathing on wiring, leave it on.

Was quoted the price of scrap for 2 of my vehicles and after they picked them up i was informed when i arrived that i wouldn't be getting that quoted price horrible service only good thing was the driver that picked up the vehicle was really nice and was able to take my vehicles without damaging anything

Not helpful unless you can have your scrap right on the lawn. They Do not go into basement for "insurance reasons". Anything heavy on the property has to be pulled out to the road for them to have easy access.
