Great staff and friendly. The lady in the scale house always has a smile on her face and a wonderful sense if humor. The auto parts department lady and staff in there always helpful and the prices are reasonable. Always come back here for parts and dripping off scrap.

Been taking scrap & other materials here for years now. Personal and business, and I always have an excellent experience here. The ladies up in the booth are always kind and nice ! The guys in the yard are knowledgeable and can help no problem! My kids especially love the picker operator, he pulls all the scrap out of the trailer with his magnet and then flings it into the pile! The kids just love it!

I have been going to this scrap yard all my life when Bobo's owned it it's a great place the people are friendly once you get to now them, they pay you for your scrap and they have car parts. Give them a call if you need something for your car or truck they just might have what you need. ????

What does it say about a scrap yard when the vehicle you are bringing the scrap in wants to stay there? This happened not just once but twice. Back in February just after I had unloaded my scrap metal my vehicle wouldn't start. After repeated attempts by one of the staff to get it started (it turned out to be a bad starter) I ended up calling caa to tow the car. Since I couldn't drive the vehicle over the scale I told the lady at the scale to forget about paying me. I remember the tow truck driver saying that this was the first time that he towed a vehicle from the yard instead of to the yard. Yesterday I went to drop off some more scrap and as I went to pull off the scale after unloading the vehicle my car failed to start again. I had driven over 9000 kilometers since my visit in February without a problem. One of the staff was right there again to help get the car started and this time a boost did the trick. While he was boosting the car the lady that had been at the scale the first time I was there in February came down and handed me the money for the metal I had brought in February. I was amazed that she remembered me and went out of her way to give me the money. I tried offering some of this money to the employee for his help in boosting my car but he would take none of it. I ended up buying a used battery from them (I have bought several of them there over the years they are a good deal) and installed it when I got home. The car started right up. I have gone to JLM for several years taking scrap or buying parts and enjoyed the friendly and knowledgeable service but I think their actions yesterday deserve the first review I have ever written. I still want to keep my car for a while longer since I get attached to things but when the time comes I can think of no better place for it to go than to the JLM yard. To the staff at JLM yard thank you again!!! You are making the world a better place.
