Quick and easy to get in and out of their yard. Staff is friendly and pleasant to deal with. They do not pay as much for material compared to the competition. It is the only yard in the South West corner of the city, which sets them apart from the others if saving travel time is important if you live nearby. The yard is often full (their reason they gave me for paying less than others) but they keep it organized and easy to navigate. There's not much room in the yard if there are multiple trucks unloading so I tend to 'stage' or unstrap and unstrap my load on the street by the railroad tracks to avoid congestion and wait times before proceeding into their yard. I miss the chocolates they used to have on the desk for the customers, before Covid. I'd give them 5 stars if they were at par with prices their competitors offer, or at least willing to price match if brought up in conversation.

Pretty cool place I took some old wires from our reno, they weighed and I got cash from their private ATM. Scrap turns to cash here.

The guys working the scales in the shop weighing my non ferrous metals were very rushed and couldn't be bothered to tell me that they scaled all of my copper wire as a whole and charged me the lowest grade possible, (which i had multiple types of gauges) I had clean aluminum, they scaled all of my dirty aluminum with my clean aluminum and again charged me a low rate because they couldn't be bothered. I came in expecting a great service from this company like I usually get. What happened in the shop the other day was unacceptable and I feel ripped off.
