Smooth “smoothoperator” Operator

Worst company ever, they destroyed our coulee, left metal all over the place, knocked down buildings that they were told to leave alone. Destroyed our driveway, they said they would pay for gravel, none has showed up? Would not let this company clean my toilet. Guess a lawyer is in order and sue them for damages.

We had this company come out and do a major clean up, when they did the walk through back in March there was a lot of snow on the ground. So it was a tentative estimate, when the crew got here in May we were so impressed with their professionalism, efficiency, respectfulness, quietness they operated quickly and thoroughly. I had forgotten to move a single share plow and some of my wagon wheels out of the pile these guys very carefully removed those items off to the side. If and when we need more hauled out they will be the company we call hands down. Another thing that really impressed me while they were waiting for the truck to get back they had had a complaint from a previous client. It was a clean up they subcontracted out, which wasnt done correctly. They immediately went and cleaned it up to the customers satisfaction. TruGreen is the way to go to clean up a farm yard. A representative came and identified, marked larger pieces and mapped piles of scrap to go. All we had to do was move larger pieces to a central area. After they picked up there was no hint that this scrap equipment had even existed.

Wow, these guys are terrific. They walk through and thoroughly go through your property, letting you know what they can and cannot take. They also provide recommendations of how and where to leave the items, if needed. Once they arrive, they efficiently remove the items in no time at all, and clean up after themselves. In August 2021 ,Karl a representative with TrueGreen came and looked at scrap steel i wanted to sell. He listed it estimated there to be about 150 ton and made me an offer of $7400 and offered to leave me a cheque for a third if 8 sogned up. Four days latter i had a different company come and haul the same list. It turned out to be just over 150 tonns. Karl was almost bang on with that. BUT I got a cheque for $22,700 and i got it within 3 days. . Thats right! $15,300 more thanKarl/Truegreen offered. Dont deal with these guys shop around. As far as im concern TruGreen put the STEAL in STEEL. Lol

ȚruGreen Metal were awesome... they came and looked what I had for metal and wrote me a cheque. They gave me a approx date when they would pick up the metal and called me a week prior and showed up then to pick up the metal. While there they did a excellent job in clean up and I'd asked them to get more out of the bush and it was done. I've had other metal guys come cleaned up there big pile and left the rest or clean the pile and not pay. Everything was great with the TruMetal crew. Thanks a lot.

TruGreen came at noon one day and finished mid afternoon the next. In that time, working late into the night, they cleaned up 55 tons of scrap which had accumulated over 70+ years. tru green quote my job at 900 dollars cash. I though that was very low to me. another friend told me about sky metals they paid 6500 cash for the same job. they paid another friend 200 dollars for three suber b loads. ok company if you just want your metal cleaned up, but they pay next to nothing for the metal hope this helps.

When the TruGreen field rep come out to visit I received very greasy vibes. I asked questions and compared prices. I didn’t like the fact they were going to leave me with a pile of tires wood and glass which may have been expensive to get rid of. The price they offered turned out to be a real low ball. Tru-Green gathered up and removed tons and tons of iron and metal from our farm home quarter, mainly olde farm equipment parts, pieces, components, and scrap metal. The team was very efficient and thorough in their gathering and loading procedures. Once the team was done with loading out all of the super-B’s, the clean- up guys were very good about picking up small bits of steel by hand and with magnets; then they finished up by making neat piles of wood scraps and tires, which could not be hauled back to Saskatchewan. Great people to work with. We planned out the cleanup to optimize the experience for both of us; between rain and snowstorms it took a while but that was all fine. I had a real mess to clean up and made it clear it had to be cleaned firt. Tru Green were Ok with that and did a very good cleanup on the first site then moved to the farm and cleaned up the rest in an afternoon. Good people to work with and left me with a clean level area. The magnet cleans up all the small pieces, nails, and other rubbish. I would recommend this company.

They gave a quote in the spring and didn't show up until ground was frozen and there was snow on the ground. They left a mess of scrap metal, glass, and wood that the tracks on their machine embedded into the ground only to appear with the thaw What a mess they left for us to clean up! To say their magnet was underpowered would be generous. We have spent hours cleaning up after them. Our time would have been better spent taking scrap to town, and would have been way more profitable as well. Also, make sure you have nothing missing after they leave. We were sad to discover a missing pressure washer and other things after they left

100% recommend them!!! We had them out to our property the first couple days of September working and they left the area where they we're cleaning up in better shape then it was was before! They we're efficient, prepared and showed up ready to go. Double, triple checked to ensure only the scrap we wanted gone was taken. The guys we're awesome to chat too and did the job incredibly well! I am terrible at names but I believe the guys we're Tyler, Jared, Sergei and there was another fellow I can't remember (very sorry if I got their names wrong, I am terrible with names lol!)
