I've never sold scrap before, and the staff here were super nice and patient. I found the yard a little confusing, but I will 100% be using them again.

Value added customer services. When you factor in the added cost of maintaining a level of service, their metal prices are more than fair. Yard is very organized by scrap yard standards. Numerous employees to guide you in the right direction based on your load. Do your homework if you don't want a disappointing pay out. It's very simple, if its one pure metal or alloy then its clean, if it has 2 or more metals then its dirty and you will get paid about 25% of its clean market value. Prepping your metals is the best and easiest thing you can do to get a good payout. These guys must be doing something right as they have 4 brand new cranes and actual functional balers/shredders as opposed to the local competition.

Honestly, I don’t have a lot of experience dropping off scrap metal but I cannot get over how amazing literally everyone is here. I would expect attitude and grumbling but the guys here work hard and are so easy going, helpful and on the verge of cheerful. Advise to the wise... going back and forth over the scale and waiting in line can take some time. Come organized and prepared for best results!

EDIT Dec 2021: to respond to the comment by the owner: ....your metals are all rusted...50 year old metals. especially the round bars a lot of these rods are bent. no point to pay premium price. nuff said - - - - -- - - - -- - - -- - - - - -- - - - -- - - - -- - - - -- - - - -- - - -- - - - - -- - - - -- - - - - used to be great but prices are way too high now despite how busy they are

This is the best place to get any type of metal for projects, etc. They are super friendly and do a good job. Prices are good and fair. When dropping of material it is straight forward.

This is a family run business, you need to know the history and appreciate what "Good generation of immigrants" did for Canada. They came and worked hard to achieve something in their lives unlike the "refugees" era who are complaining about hotel standards! As far as the modern day Zubick they pay fair price for your scrap. They create jobs for people who want to work as well.

Its a family run business and the people that work here are awesome, friendly and helpful They take all kinds of scrap metals, cars, house appliances and they pay you for it ! Scrap money !!$ Rather cool to see this place in action. Its a well oiled machine that runs very smoothly to get people in and out as easily as possible. This place can get rather busy but they have a system that gets the people in and out with money in hand ???????? Thank zubicks !!

I went to sell some old rims and was completely out of my element. Lost would best describe me. I was overwhelmed by the environment and number of customers who clearly knew where in the yard to go, and what they were to expect. An amazing worker recognized my confusion and led me out of the masses of seasoned scrappers and handled my sale without any stress to me! I cleaned up the eye sore beside my shed, and made $102! Do not bring your catalytic converters here, was told my cats stamped FOMOCO where after market, the black employee was very adamant that "he knew his cats" I'm sure they will asses your converters wrong also.

Fair non- ferrous prices. They have an $80,000 radiation scanner tool that can read and list the metallurgy of non ferrous metals. Takes the guesswork out of what you have. Could use a traffic light at the scale to avoid confusion for people who aren't familiar with the yard. And it wouldn't be a true scrap yard if it wasn't for the crusty desk staff.

brought in some solid and cast metal and the expert there just threw it all under the cast price. saved some of it up for years to make it worthwhile. surely after working there years they knew the diff.

I used to come to this yard but they dont care about me as customer and they can be rude to me but if i say any thing about them they kick me out. On my 2nd last trip there the guy said how to up grade from tin to racking aka baleing so i did the next trip to this yard and anuther guy said the paint on it dose not go for racks i look at the pile and see all kinds of paint then the guy in back door was rude and has been rude to me before cuse normal guy was not there i clean my stuff before loading on my truck so they kicked me out i tryed to call and talk to owner and to see how we work out problem but they dont want to work out the problem i am asking zubick scrap to say sorry and to make it right

took in 380 lbs of bell wire 1 to 2 inch thick got 45 cent a pound 2years ago at another scrap yard in london 90 cents a pound thought price of copper was up I was wrong

I was quite disappointed with the amount of money I got.I had a huge 10 ft tall cage plus a heavy 7 foot long railing after driving in their muddy long yard I came to get my money they paid me $8.10.Im quite upset the distance I drove to get to them,missing time,gas.

Bunch of criminals. First time there. No one said anything about separating my own metal. The kid just started pulling scrap off my truck not saying anything. I explained I had motors and bikes and aluminum and iron. 700 pounds on my truck and they listed it all as Tin. 20 bucks. What a joke. Any other scrap yard I've been too lists a percentage and pays based on that.

Been coming to zubicks for over 10 years. Great group of people with fair pricing. Only thing I wish they would bump up car body prices to compete with the other 2 yards that usually pay 10-15 dollars more per ton. Other than that non ferrous prices here at zubicks are the best. guys in the yard are always helpful and assist customers with unloading.

Tommy Lee give your head a shake . Although I have only been to this yard a few times its one of the few that will assist with unloading your material . As for giving percentages that's pie in the sky dreaming dude . The only time that happens is if you have a big mixed load of ferrous material that can easily be sorted with the mag . They may not always pay the most but if you value your time than this is the place as they get you in and out quick .
