Hey. I just wanted everyone to know what a caring helping company these guys are. We are doing a huge cleanup at our quadding pits and they donated the bins green and grey to help our cause. I couldn't say enough good things about these guys. If you are needing garbage bins they are the cheapest all the way. And so friendly to deal with. I recommend them to everyone.

I had no idea this place existed until I got lost in Saskatoon and tried to find a way to turn around and drove in front of BN Steel & Metals. My son screeeeeamed "T-Reeeeex" so I stopped and took some selfies with him and I have to admit it was one of the coolest things I have seen in this city. Good job to the artist(s) behind these creations, they are amazing! I am sorry I didn't experience your business per say but you sure have a great marketing ploy going on! I'll remember for sure where to bring my metals now.

They provide valuable service, recycling metals instead of having them end up in the dump. They also have some awesome sculptures in there parking lot.

If you want to take the kids to see some cool metal artwork. BN Steel have made 2 Larger than Life sized Transformers and also they have made a dinosaur, and a world atlas. The Transformers only come out during business hours.

The young man took more interest in another man and nearly ignored me. He was not helping me...I would have had to beg for help... maybe...lol...real busy here.i was told only 2 people were there who could help with customers. I wanted to know the price of the brass and copper decor I had brought in so that I could determine if it was worth keeping...nope...the young man told me to step back and I couldn't have asked questions since it was so loud. Very disappointed and I will try another salvage yard next time...hopefully get some answers...

These guys are con-artists. I was in there a couple weeks ago and took in some copper. I had 4lbs of stripped wire in 1 bag and 2lbs of unstripped in another bag. I walked out with $8. I later got told I should have gotten more. I just discovered their price list and they are currently paying $3.30 for #1 copper and $3.20 for #2 copper. The price if copper is lower now than it was then so I am guessing they were paying at least that much 2 weeks ago. For the 4lbs if stripped copper alone I should have gotten around $13 not $8. Beware of these scammers.

I wasn't at one of your businesses but I had a bad experience on the freeway with one of your drivers.had a opportunity to get into a lane comming off the freeway managed to get the lane but then had my ass ridden all the way up the ramp i felt very threatened for my safety and my son in the car so I did like anyone else would do have some nice words to say to the brainless driver of the company. Probably the most professional scrap yard I've ever seen--Total pros--I dropped off a bunch of stuff and found some great steel shelving they had up for sale. Saved a bunch of money on the racking. These guys go through more interesting stuff in a month, it's probably better than a museum. Hard to believe that a lot of other businesses could learn a thing or 2 about customer service from a scrap yard!

I went drop metal and recycling, while dropping my recycling in the bin the owner stop his machine to tell the employe that the box i put in the recycle looks too heavy to be paper, the employe come check and see that there is books in the box. The employe go tell the owner but the owner completly dismiss his employe and myself and acuse me of putting metal where the recycle... he came see for himself and saw that it was only books... but he was really rude and was treating us like we were lying.... even the employe apologized for the behavior of the owner.

Worst experience I’ve had with a recycler. Been disappointed twice now on separate occasions. Just today I had phoned in advance of closing, was told no issues. Pulled into the parking lot and was immediately approached by an employee and abruptly told they were closed. I told I had phoned ahead, still 10 minutes before closing and that it was a pickup and go. Was still told ‘too bad, bosses orders.” Very disappointing for a business to contradict its self or have poor communication between its own workers and customers.

Overall I had an amazing expirence at BN Metals! I went there with my family on a Saturday afternoon to drop off our old fridge and take in some copper we had. The service we received was above and beyond. The staff is all super friendly and very knowlagable about their product.
