Saturday afternoon I was in a dilemma. I needed a caliper to replace a faulty one I installed last year. It was 3:30 pm Saturday NAPA and Honda Dealership parts were closed. Canadian tire would take days for curbside pickup. So I googled parts store in the area open on a Saturday afternoon. PartSource popped up and I gave them a call. They had the caliper in stock and it was available for curbside pickup right away. They saved my day!! I highly recommend them for your parts needs!

Best place to get auto parts quickly or on the run. So far they have stocked all the parts that I needed; from fan resistors, to wipers, alternator, and battery. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Open late and on Sundays!

They have three good staff members, besides that the rest are condescending and clueless. Call for information, useless. Ask for a service (such as a charging system diagnostic) “oh we don’t do that” even though the device is on the counter that I have personal experience with. Best to go in for off the shelf stuff only, don’t bother asking for parts look up unless it’s the assistant manager, the female, or the mid 40’s thinner gentleman (hopefully I can update with first names)

The customer service at this location was absolutely brutal. I went to return a product that I purchased from another location. The item was brand new and the box had not been opened - I changed my mind and did not want the item. At first, the rep said "no we don't accept returns on electronic devices". After consulting another individual, he said yes they would accept the return. Then the rep asked me for the receipt which I handed to him. He then said they didn't accept interact receipts, only cash register receipts (which I didn't have or remember receiving one). He was blunt, abrupt and rude about the whole issue and wouldn't provide any further assistance so I walked out and felt they wasted my time. I will not return to this location.

Gave Partsource a call on Saturday trying to find a part that I needed that day to get my truck up and running. I called and was put immediately on hold (I don't mind as it was a Sat and was expecting a bit of a wait). After waiting nearly 30mins, I thought I was forgotten about so I hung up and called back in. A guy picked up and asked to put me on hold. I said no I didn't want to be put on hold and forgotten about again. He immediately got rude with me and changed his tone "Well I am dealing with a customer so thats just too bad you're going to wait". I asked to speak with his manager, he then tells me that he is in fact the store manager and continues to be rude (never once apologizes for me being left on hold for as long as I was). I ended up calling another Part Souce and was told that this one was the only one that had what I needed (Thanks Tristan from the other location!). I went into this store and it was completely dead. Seems like the manager just didn't want to help out anyone. Really disappointed in PartSource for this. I hear horror stories all the time about PartSource and this just solidifies this opinion. Ill be taking my business else where from now on. Better prices elsewhere anyways

Completely incompetent staff. I went there to buy rotors and they gave me the wrong ones, and brought them back. They checked again and insisted that they were right, because the computer says so. Went to another store to see if it was true, and it was the same. It just turns out that they misread the serial number 5 times and had 2 people checking.

Dropped into this store for their windshield wiper deal..."buy yours here and we'll install them" I was looked after promptly as was the install. After the install a flaw was evident with one of my wiper arms so a tech was called out from the shop and a quick fix was done...for no additional charge! Its just a couple of minutes involved but the kind little extra that should bring customers back!

Went to pick up wiper blades but after talking g to the staff I was so impressed with their knowledge of vehicles and the make and model of my truck in particular that I wound up spending over a hundred dollars in accessories for my truck. Great place to shop!

Terrible customer service. Had a problem with my headlight bulb, wasn't turning completely to seal like the old one. Both staff said they couldn't help me because it's against policy. Wasn't asking for them to replace my headlight, just to come look if I was doing it properly but both staff in an empty store said it was against policy to help. Turns out the old gasket had come off which stopped the new bulb from fitting. Super simple but don't go to this store because they will go out of their way to not help you.

This location of Part Source is time and again better than their other stores. Regardless of whether or not the store is busy I always feel as though I am getting the best information the cashier's can give for their experience level and I also appreciate the ability to view and print repair instructions from their computer directly from the same source repair shops like Canadian Tire and OK Tire use. If you are in the area I would recommend dealing with this location rather than the Auto Value across the road.

Been coming to PartSource for years, but never this location. Staff are generally very helpful, but my recent experience here was unfortunate. My request for additional information or an opinion about a couple products were met with a less-than-friendly, dismissive, and frankly useless response. It's the only place in brockville other than ctc that is open on a Sunday or later Saturday from my experience trying to finish jobs on those days for the past few weeks is impossible because you either get sorry we don't stock that or they could order it the staff obviously does not have automotive experience because most times they can't find their ass with both hands not happy with the service or basic parts selection. Too the upper management of part source demagraphics of the area doesn't mean that people don't have those vehicles. You might want to recheck your assumptions of the area you look after and by upper management I am not talking about store managers I'm looking at the higher ups. I tapped 1 star because I couldn't do a half star

Went and ordered floor mats for my new car - paid in full and was told 7-10 days delivery. Checked after 10 days and they told me that they would be in soon. I then checked after 3 weeks and they told me that the order had never been placed and the guy ordering them was notorious for taking payment and not placing orders. But aha ! they offered to put the order in today - so helpful ! After waiting 4 weeks for Weather Tech mats that were never ordered - no thanks ! I got them in stock at the dealer for a similar price. Too bad as a couple of years ago the service was great at this place.

Don't waste your time! Their "knowledgeable staff members" are 16-18 year old kids. Paid in full for an alternator that never got ordered. They told me it would be a couple hours to get it in or at worst that evening. Didn't get a call back that day. Called the next morning they said it would be in store by noon. Called back again at 1pm being told it would be on the next courier at 3pm. I explained I have been told it would be on the next route the last two times. I asked them to contact their parts depot to ensure it would be on the next truck. Employee calls me back saying he has no way of contacting their parts depot... Calmly saying it would for sure be on the next truck. Called again after not hearing anything back. Finally being informed that there has been no alternator ordered. Not dealing with Part Source anymore and informing others of there poor and pathetic business operations.

We went to PartSource on 17 to buy some parts, The blond hair employee is not helpful at all, he told us that he doesn't have what we want without even checking in the system (even we had the part numbers). We went to the Auto Value across and they where able to find what we wants with in seconds. Afoul experience

I worked for Part Source for almost 5 years (not this location of course) and the Dunlop location discredits the brand. The counter staff is friendly but hardly knowledgeable and the manager was downright rude. My prime experience at this location. I purchased an alternator on sale using their counterman to look up the part. There were two options, he determined what alternator I required based on the options in my car. The alternator was incorrect and did not physically fit. I returned to exchange it a few days later and the sale was now over, a $40.00 difference. The manager argued that I could no longer receive the sale price on the exchanged alternator and there was "nothing she could do". She condescendingly smiled and stated it wasn't their problem it didn't fit my car and began to walk away. I called her back to state I answered all of their counterman's questions and their catalogue listed the incorrect part. I would have received the sale price originally if it had not been incorrect. She still refused to offer any assistance and continued to argue with me. I disliked her attitude and told her I will take my business elsewhere and to provide me a full refund. All of a sudden she was magically able to override the price (as a former employee I knew she had the manager's capability to do this) and honoured the sale price. Was it worth arguing with a customer over something you should have honoured in the first place? This location is clearly not concerned with customer satisfaction. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

People were great at south Huronialcation in Barrie. However rear drum brake kit was missing pins. Car was all apart when I discovered this. I had no choice but to reuse old rusty pins. I feel like my car is unsafe still. Not good. I have to arrange use of a garage each time I do mechanical. I'm 66 years old and found this a frustrating experience. The brake kits always had pins in the past? I was able to get 2 out of 4 pins I needed from Canadian tire. Walking there and back didn't exactly make my day. Although exercise is good.

Awesome customer experience with a parts representative. He even offered to change the new window blades I bought and take care of my old ones (manager's take note - he had a beard and does not own a car - but man, does he know his stuff). I'm not sure if everybody there is like that, but he saved me a bunch of time trying to figure my car problems on my own. Highly recommend!

No idea about anything to do with cat parts, called ahead to arrange an alternator test / possible replacement. The staff had no idea how to run the machine, no.idea how to hook.it up, I had to hold.the managers hand.while she fumbled to hook up the alternator to the machine...I'll never be back

Very bad experience. This store has a bad customer service. I bought one product from this store with one year warranty but when I went there after two month to exchange that part and I have receipt and original box but they refused to exchange. Bad thing or bad behaviour by the manager he said get out from our store and you can do whatever you want.

Called in and inquired on brakes and rotors on a 2010 dodge caravan, was passing through barrie and wanted to stop in and pick some parts up. Lady answered, i enquired and she needed about 2 books of information about my vehicle I didnt even know before she could quote me a price. I got home called my local parts store, less then a minute he had me a price on brakes pads fronts rears and just needed to know the year make and model and engine size, bit more pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. Maybe it's time to hire people that know about cars instead of computers.
