I have never in my life returned metal, but had a big pile that I had accumulated on my property. I chose to bring it to AS as it was the closest yard to me. I called first to see what the process was, owner was very polite on the phone and walked me through it. Arrived the next morning and was happily received by the owner who directed my truck and trailer into the receiving area and promptly assisted me to unload. Paid me what I am sure was fair price for my scrap and I was on my way. Very easy process, friendly people all around including the other customers who were also dropping off.
