My advice is to be open to change, especially modern global change, give staff the autonomy to develop the role and themselves, don't treat employees like you're in a dictatorship. (Main Management district and regional) do not care about you or your life all they care about is production they work your till your exhausted and mentally drained. On plus side the workers are great they treat you like family. Safety is a big issue there once again they would rather care more about production over the safety of the employees . They also don't have proper work scheduling you never know how long your on a certain shift. (Morning, afternoons, or graveyards)

Thier website clearly say they buy old scrap cars - I bought daily insurance and drove my car there but the security at the front door said we don’t accept cars !!!! Wasting Time and money

I went there to take back some copper and brass and the guy at scale house came out swearing the f word that he will not buy our scrap because I steal from them. I do abstract art and the odd time people leave stuff at front of public bin. I use what I took . He was rude and swearing as well lied about the bin he said charity but we asked which one he told us to ......off don't use them

Their unloading system is not fair. They let their own trucks in in a different line up and sometimes I have waited 4 hours just to get unloaded. 1-2 hour wait time is fair, but they are just taking money out of my pocket.

The people that work here are wonderful, they have helped me enormously to fit in and be successful in my role. I see this behavior been extended to all stakeholders including fellow employees, customers, vendors, contractors, etc. I am confident that any contact with the RSR team shall leave one with a smile.

These guys will try and take advantage of you. I inquired what the going rate of scrap steel was for a commercial client and the gave me a price of $50/ton. As the price seemed extremely low, I called the Prince George branch. Prince George was paying $130/ton... When I called the Kamloops branch back, the manager said that all their steel has to go to the coast by rail and that is where there price has to be when they factor in transport. I asked the manager to to explain his math and reasoning as Prince George is a longer haul to the coast... He said "that's just the way it is." After I told him I would be dealing with the other scrap dealer in town due to his dishonest business practices, he said he didn't care as their steel has to go to the coast through them anyways. Very poor management at the Kamloops branch.
