This is my second time trying to review this place. The first one didn't appear to go through. The people are nice but the pricing is terrible. And I received the wrong paperwork with somebody else's name on it. I was quoted three different prices by three different people. I ended up getting 7 cents a pound for sheet aluminum. And 28 cents a pound for extruded aluminum. By far the worst experience I've had. Now I have to find somewhere else since I still have 5 truck loads to get rid of. By comparison when my neighbor took back the same extruded aluminium for me he got 55 cents per pound 2 weeks ago. They are all over the place.

The only thing I have a problem with is ..they say on line the close at 5:00 and 2 of us customers were at the gate at 4:45 .. And a worker at the gate said they were closed. ....we close at 4:45 he said.... wow...I told him..that's crazy to turn two customers away.....there is other recycling yards. I got an excellent offer (better than multiple others I had received) and my car was picked up quickly with no charge for towing. The tow truck driver who picked my car up was very friendly and nice and he was right on time and called me to let me know what time he would be there. RIP OFF alert!! If you have never been to this place, 1st-DON'T, 2nd. There is no clear way to know where to go and what to do. I had to ask 3 different people walking around to find out where i was supposed to be, or even park. They quote 1 price over the phone and then payed WAY WAY less. I said over the phone I had circuit boards and they said .13 per lb, they gave me 6.5c for and said its a different kind. (what? I never said what it was out of) and @ 300 lbs of cooper transformers and they gave .16 cents lb. when over the phone it was much more. Not worth it!

Been here a couple times, more than 5 I would say. Originally I was happy that I was getting paid correctly and got what was owed, but recently the past 3 times I went I was ripped off BAD. I asked the operator specifically what I was going to get and he agreed, when I got the ticket and complained, they told me that the material was already gone and there was no way to check. Blatant disrespect. I bring in clean non ferrous and They charge me for dirty material. You will lose money here

Not the best for sure. They don't pay for stainless unless it's non magnetic so basically they give you stainless price for high quality stainless that you should get more money for and low grade steel price for regular stainless. It's stupid. They said basically only 300 series steel which is very expensive. I need to find a place to scrap inconel but glr would only give stainless price for it when it's supposed to go for over $10 a pound. Basically they only buy high grade steel for low grade steel price.
