"There couldn't be a dirtier convenience store in Calgary" Mac's on 7th ave: "Hold my beer and watch this" The staff is the only thing holding up the 2 stars. What they have to deal with daily and nightly... respect.

A very rude staff was there when I visited on Dec 20th at 1:40am, I have been coming to this place since quite sometime never had issues.. the staff today was using abusive language.. ridiculous

The homeless are every where not just here, do we should get that out of the way. Ask for the store it's great and for the most part the staff are just great. Very helpful if you need to ask anything.

Store looks good but a lot of people in the area are nasty. Wait until cops are on site to check the surroundings to limit your potential issues with the people in the area.

Hi owner, You know me to see me. I live closeby and used to spend about $1,000 a month in your store. That stopped after your staff member threatened me. My transactions were usually smokes and drinks (many of each) and this guy gave me the wrong smokes. Still standing at the counter, I asked him to change them to my particular brand and he actually said no. He then started shouting at me like I was a thief. "Leave, get out, I am calling the police" Hard for me to know how much your margins are but I know you have them and know I was a significant customer. You and the manager lady have both been good to me but I can't return to your store after this encounter. It was beyond unprofessional and not acceptable treatment. I became a 7/11 member since and use their store up the street now. I am writing this so you have the opportunity to know. He was a bad hire.

Been into the store a few times to purchase water [Voss]. Been fairly quiet, and in and out of the store very quickly. Good to see the Covid safety practices in place to protect the staff, one drawback that I saw was not hand sanitizer for customers coming into the store. OIher than that, staff was friendly and professional.

The aggressive homeless people and drug addicts make this place a class act atmosphere. 10/10 will return. Seen my fair share of fights in and around this fine establishment. Love the staff.

The police have their own parking spot at this crack Mac's and rightly so, it attracts every drunk and druggie in town, every violent altercation I've seen in the city has taken place right outside the door, on the corner or in the parking lot, at least it's outside, it's not really Mac's fault, the whole area is rife with trouble makers.

Maybe it was just the one person I asked that left a sour taste in my mouth but I was having a medical emergency and I needed to use a washroom urgently and he told me I couldn't and there was nothing he could do, I would of even bought something if it meant I could use the washroom but to turn someone away in an emergency is digusting

I don't usually write reviews but today August 27, 2020 @10:39a.m. I got yelled by this lady named "VICKY". At first,I've been very patient and answered politely to VICKY when she told me to go back and forth to the shelf and remained calm even when "VICKY" asked me to scan my barcodes after I redeem my coupons. But VICKY yelled at me. Telling me I didn't scan it correctly. VICKY won't even help me when I asked which 1 is wrong. Just answered me "I DON'T KNOW YOU'RE THE ONE WHO SCANNED IT". I am not asking for a concierge treatment or anything special since I know where I'm at. But at least VICKY has to do her job at least or just respect customers or treat them as human. Not sure how circle K hire this type of worker with an attitude problem.

I don't like the fact that the cups for the foster are behind the counter and the worker there have to hand it to you. Last time I went there, the worker there was eating and he handed me the cups with oil from his food all over it and inside it as well. It was disgusting. They say they put it behind the counter because they don't want people touching all the cups even if what everyone actually touches is the handle of those froster machine which are not protected. I don't want people touching the cups either and even the workers there included. Even if they sanitize their hands. They should put those cups back where it was. The handle of the Frosters are not protected and that is what everyone touches for sure. The cups and covers are always backwards when it is where it's supposed to be. I don't understand how people will be touching all the cups at once. I hope those changes will be considered.

Great 24/7 location in the downtown area, and it’s conveniently located beside the C-train with complimentary parking stalls in their lots for those who drive. The inside of the store is clean, big, and well stocked. The only downside is the nature of this corner/area - just a little bit shady. Also, the counter staff just stared at me as I walked in, which made me feel like I wasn’t particularly welcomed.

It has earned a terrible nickname "Crack Macs"... The reason is all the drug deals that go on upstairs. Downstairs is a legitimate well run business that is always a good place to get snacks / drinks etc. The staff are very helpful.

Definitely want to avoid this place if you can help it. The area is quite sketchy even during daylight. Many people appear to be drunk or on drugs.The small parking lot in the front has a parking stall dedicated for police cars. It's affectionately known as "Crack Macs" for a reason.

Front counter guy with the turban was very nice! Greeted us with a smile and kind words as soon as we walked in the door. Then knew exactly where the items we asked about were. Store had all the items we wanted. Open twenty four hours a day! Also has a Subway sandwich shop inside.

The reason I’ll rate this place is the staff, they have to deal with a lot of garbage and have always been great to me. I usually come In after work at 2-3am and the guys are fun to talk to. The location and customers is out of the control of the staff and owner. They do a good job of keeping the place clean and in order. Good selection of snacks and drinks here. I wish something could be done about the parking lot, I am not going to pay for parking to run into this store for 1-2 minutes. I took that ticket and threw it the back of the parking patrols truck box. Sue me.

I have been using this location for many years. I have always been treated with respect and kindness from staff. VICKY has been great every time. It can get busy and there are lots of homeless people around but just stay alert and be safe and you will find it a good experience at this location.

I go here pretty much every single day and have been for the past 5 months or so and the staff is very nice and friendly. They do a great job of keeping the place clean and stocked. They have a great variety of snacks and household items too. They have a frozen food section, big pop section, a nice cooler for sandwiches, many different flavours of slush and fountain pop. They have a big island full of hot dogs, taquitos, nachos and smokies. They also have great coffee !! I really like this place a lot!
