The towing service is just fine and the driver I had was friendly and helpful. I only rated 3 stars as I feel that charging $160 for about a 30km tow for just a regular vehicle with no special needs is ridiculous.

My car battery broke down in salmon arm while my daughter was using the car and I was in Calgary . AMA was fast as usual , they dispatched bens towing , the driver was amazing assisting her by towing her to napa where she bought a battery , he helped her install it , since the garages were closed on a Saturday, that was above and beyond for service in a small town , Thank you.

Ben's Towing & Auto Wrecking Ltd. Friendly & Professional. We had our semi truck jack knifed on Trans Canada Highway 1 between Salmon Arm and Sicamous. Getting stuck on a highway is not a painful experience. But thanks to Emergency crews on site including Ben's Towing & Auto Wrecking Ltd who not only arrived on time but delivered a friendly and professional service. Also, after a few days they make up an appointment with us to pick up our useful stuff & tools before the truck goes to mechanic shop. Thanks guys!!!

My dad and I were stranded after being unable to reset the anti theft system in his explorer. After seeing our hood up, one of these lovely drivers came to offer his assistance and was even able to get us back on the road again! Refused to accept a payment for his time. Just wanted to make sure we were OK. Dad was 3 days post surgery and was extremely sore and needing to get home. We are so grateful for such a kind heart.

My husband and I were driving to Salmon Arm in Aug where about 20 km outside of Salmon arm we had a tire on our trailer blow out. We had a KAL tire employee come out to change the tire. However, once the tire was off it was found out that the bearings and axle were also majorly affected. The KAL tire employee said that it was extremely unsafe to continue to drive on so a tow would need to be done. He suggested Ben's towing. We called Bens towing and the man who answered said that due to our trailer length, which was 28", said the trailer was too long for them to tow. I just find this odd because they specialize in heavy duty towing. Also, two other service departments recommended Ben's cause they should be able to tow this type of trailer. If I'm wrong where a 28" trailer is in fact too long then I'm sorry. Just the fact that multiple service companies said Ben's towing should be able to do it and how we were stuck in a emergency situation on the side of the road this upset me.

Poor communication. Driver says one thing, dispatch says another thing. After a total of 6 phone calls over 3 days I finally told it will be at least two more days and bcaa won't cover it. The driver never even got out of the tow truck to look at the vehicle charges me 80 buck. I understand people are busy but leaving me in the dark waiting by the phone is wrong. I wouldnt use this service if you can help it.

I was stuck on a FSR and I called every tow company in the North Okanagan and no one would come, sighting the bad weather. I say screw the other tow companies they are cowards. BEN'S TOWING WONT LET YOU DOWN! well worth every penny. James was super professional and I highly recommend BEN'S TOWING. Don't be fooled by other tow companies they are cowards!
