i have been dealing with west coast for a number of years now for all my stainless and aluminum scrap i have always been dealt with courteously and quickly. some of the best prices in the lower mainland that i personally have seen. so far i have yet to have a complaint with any of my dealings here. if i have ever asked for a hand offloading something one of the guys has been willing to give me a hand with it without a complaint.

They use forklifts to help with large quantities of wire or other metal recycling if the metal is in the bin. Service was great, fast, and easy.

Although I have used them before when i lived close, I was happy to see on their website that they also imply they have locations in Maple Ridge / Pitt meadows. This is not true, they have manipulated their website so they rank high but in reality only have ONE location in Langley. I do not like dishonesty in web ranking or fake locations.

First time using your services and was very impressed with the level of customer service! I came in to recycle some old bed frames and got a bit lost... not for long though! Your staff were so helpful and friendly. Never felt ignored. When I was directed to the correct place, I was quickly greeted by a courteous and helpful staff member, who offered to bring the loader close to my car so that I could put the bed frames right in the bucket. He was very kind (as were all of your staff!) and really made my day with his positive attitude:-) Would definitely recommend!

Been to a couple of scrap dealers in my time, so was expecting a grotty, muddy place staffed by uninterested, rude employees, but found my experience last week to be the exact opposite. A yard employee saw us drive in, stopped and came to meet us - he didn't just pretend to not notice us, imagine that! Professionally he explained the process, guided us through: drive on/off scale; dump our metal at that marked bay; drive on/off the scale; take ticket to ATM and we're off. Unloaded 1250 lbs of scrap, and got paid, within 10 mins and I had never been there before. I didn't leave covered in mud. Central location. Easy access. Quick process. All I can say is thank you.

Iam giving 2 stars , because I go here a lot when I have scrap .. next time I come in I want to see a list of weight and prices for my return broken down ...it seems prices vary every time depending on the person doing the weigh in. So next time I want break down of what I bring in not a ticket to deepens cash .

Great place to take your scrap metal. Well setup, efficiently run. Employees are friendly and easy to deal with. Just make sure you obey the signs and their directions for your safety as it is an industrial facility.

This is much different than any other scrap yard I have been too. You drive in and toss everything you are scrapping I to a large steel bin them they haul it away to be sorted (properly I must add) and then they bring you a ticket to bring to a machine that will pay you your cash.

Customer care is pretty bad. Had to wait in front of 5 workers while they drank their coffee (on break) but no one greeted me for a while. Other times no one has said hello.

I called to inquire about the different services they offer only to be greeted by the owner of the company. He was very condescending, cut me off before I had didn't give me the time of day, was disgusted by the fact that I didn't know what different services they offered and had no patience to answer any of my questions. Very unprofessional company and I would not recommend them at all. ABC Recycling was much more professional and accommodating.

Not impressed. Came upon there business from a Craigslist ad showing some product they had. Called to ensure they had my size, refused to measure as they did not have time but ensured me they had lots. I drove down to find all they had was garbage, nothing in the size I needed and very little stock. I wasted time and money (fuel and bridge tolls). Also when I was there, they were burning off stuff in an open bin and smoke was freely polluting the area. A backhoe they were working on was draining oil all over the ground. It is apparent this company does not care about customers or the environment. Do not use this company. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but this place deserves it.
