The staff are very helpful, but if it's your first time, here is what you should do: - drive up onto the scale - between the yellow thingy. - stop your car on the scale and wait for someone to tell you to go over the nearby loud speaker - follow the 2 red signs that point you to a drop off area... this is a vague area... just find an area where you can add to the pile of stuff - empty your car of stuff - all scrap goes into the same place - drive back onto the scale going in the opposite direction of how you came in - wait for them to tell you to go - stop off at the customer parking near the office - go inside - get a piece of paper with a barcode - on the way out, scan the paper and money comes out

First and last time at this scrap yard. Their prices are 50%-75%+ less than most other scrap yards. Im blown away at the difference. My fault for not asking first as I wasn’t expecting that much of a difference. Also putting No1 copper as No2 was disappointing. The staff is very friendly and I do like their system with scanning for payment. I won’t go back as I can get double the amount anywhere else. 90 cents for number 1 is ridiculous.

Well given the circumstances of covid 19 , none of the staff want to follow their own policy of wear the a mask, the human resources employee was wearing hers. She was very polite and respectful. The guy with the black hair and beard only gave me excuses as to why it was ok for 4 staff to be within 3 feet of one another. This is unacceptable. And they should lead by example. I was asked to leave for simply asking a question. If the entire province is asked to wear them why are you an exception?

I am very disappointed in the prices they offer. I just recently asked for a price on a specialty item and the price difference was 2.40 a lb less compared to two other scrap yards. Be careful!

Moffatt scrap iron has been a big part of the campbellville community for as long as I can remember! I recently took a tour through there yard and I can't believe actually how much rules and regulations they have to follow with the conservation and the city !! We should all be thankful that there is a local place like MSI that we can recycle are metal products at ! It really helps with the environment when professionally run operations like MSI are in your community thanks again!!

Pay attention to the other people on here who said that the prices here are a rip off because they are. I just brought in 44lbs of # 10 and 12 insulated wire and was given 60c per pound. That’s a massive rip off. If I had known they were going to give me half price for my wire I would have taken it elsewhere.

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve been in a few times, and got a box placed at my farm for a bunch of scrap I have laying around. They came out to my farm to give me a price on what I have. They didn’t charge me (I had the box for a week and a half) to have the box and they picked it up within a day of calling that it was full. Very easy and highly recommended.

Equipment in very bad shape, bad tires, leaking hydraulic seals, electrical problems with trucks causing trucks to die while driving on hiway and management previously knew of problems and continued to use the truck, combative staff with drivers, no regards for safety or drivers life,

This company does not offer fair rates, they give you the cheapest price out of the scrap yards in the area. You will get more money and friendly staff at Peel Scrap. They treat their employees very poorly and their customers are no different.
