I normally go there and had to go to another scrap metal in St Catharines. Completely ripped me off on aluminum pricing. 60 pounds at 15 cents where Ken Salvage would have been 40-50 cents because it was very clean awnings. Staff is incredible and basically go where you are going to make the most money. My go to place for sure, won't take chances again.

I am in the process of renovating my house and, a few weeks ago, required a dumpster. I visited Ken's Salvage's website and, immediately, found all of the information that I needed with respect to dumpster sizes. I contacted Ken's via e-mail (after hours) and, surprisingly, received a response from Jenny Martin, who provided me with details regarding ordering and prices. Ken's rental prices are much lower (in some cases, more than $100 cheaper) than comparable bins offered by other organizations throughout Niagara. I opted for the 14-yard bin, which was delivered to my residence within 24 hours. After a short phone call a couple of days later, the bin was picked up without any issues. Even though I provided my credit card information to Jenny over the phone, I still received a physical receipt, which was placed in my mailbox. I received another confirmation of pick-up invoice upon the bin's retrieval. Overall, Ken's Salvage's services are affordable and exemplary. Call with confidence!

Amazing family run business and very well organized, I dealt with Jenny and Josh, it was very transparent and smooth transaction. I called a day before and they dropped off the Bin sharp and 9am next morning and once the bin was filled, as soon as I called them, they scheduled for next day pickup and Ben the driver was on time and picked up the bin and off they went. I ordered two bins. They charged me almost for 4 Bins. They added the cost by dumping for extra weight. Bin is cheap but they rip me off on dumpslip. For Two bin they charged me for 4 Bins. Not happy customer.

I haven't used their services, so this review is simply because I see their bin trucks dangerously speeding down residential streets in Niagara. If a giant truck is speeding down streets where children play, how fast can it stop in an emergency? They are extremely quick at unloading and weighting your scrap. The only minor issue is backing up to the garage door, it's a bit tricky as it's not a straight back in and a little narrow. In the winter all the mud ruts are frozen making it a bit bumpy.
