Person at the front gate was extremely friendly and very helpful explaining where to go and how it works. Only reason for not getting 5 stars was I was told I'd get some help unloading and no one came to help. I will definitely comeback and suggest this place to others.

The Gerdau metal scrap yard located in Lindsay must be making a ton of profit...illegally. The last several times I've been there over a course of 2 months, they NEVER have nickels and dimes. I think that they do this strategically betting on that most people don't care about the pennies....but even pennies add up! It is simple go to the bank and get nickels and dimes...MAKE IT HAPPEN GERDAU! The alternative is people will catch on, and not do any business with you going forward.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! It says it all when you drive in and you see a sign reading “use at your own risk”. Well the place is terrible, nails and spikes all over the driving paths, in 30ft. Had 2 full hands of nails, screws 6 inch spikes...And the employees just look at you as you picking up these nails. When maybe they should be looking at all of the safety infractions that are around. Only saw one person where a reflective shirt. They were wearing safety boots. The other thing, which is the the most important issue was the pay. We total felt ripped off., there was no mention of the weight, we had to ask the weight in. There’s no record on the receipt... there’s no neon sign telling you the weight, so we have to take their word for it, we wouldn’t doubt that the scale where rigged... anyways we were very unsatisfided, and would never recommend this place to our worst enemy.... Next time we do a house renovation with aluminum siding we will cart it to Peterborough where the sites are all the things this place could never be !
