I have used Allied Salvage and metals several times. I used their facility while I was working for a company that carted items away for disposal or recycling. Since then, anytime I end up with an excess of useless parts (brake rotors/drums/pads, broken aluminum wheels) or anything else made of metal, I recycle with Allied. Staff are friendly as heck and I get a bit of $$in my pocket for recycling and making the work a better place. Take your spare metals to Allied!

This recycling depot is quite impressive. Metal items that are discarded by our society eventually make their way to one of this places. At Allied they have a very efficient system to handle your scrap metal: just bring your car/truck to a scale and get a reading before you drop. Go to the next gate to drop, and then back to the scale in the 1st gate to get a 2nd reading. Based on weight difference, you get paid. Nothing new there, it's the staff at Allied that makes the process fast and simple. They are helpful and friendly, and that is always welcome.

Came by here today as my first paid scrap metal trip (typically I go to the city and recycle for free but I had some heavy stuff this time around). While I only encountered 2 staff members (one doing traffic and the lady at the cashier), both were very friendly people despite how chaotic things were. The cashier noticed it was recently my birthday and gave me a hat and key chain magnet as a gift. I also realized the rate I got on the receipt was higher than I anticipated. All around they made an awesome first impression for me and I will definitely be returning for future trips despite the 45 minute drive for me. I appreciated the service despite only have about 220lbs of metal - peanuts compared to the trucks that pull in but I was treated with the same service. Side note as someone in a customer facing industry - you guys have done a great job at putting some personable people at the front end although I'm sure your yard workers are awesome people too!

Brutal.filled a bin to the top and they called it a wash ......anywhere else would be cash back from a 40 yard bin full......do not use them . I do a bin a week and have never had someone call it a wash before and there 20yard bins?? When I told them I was new to scrap to see of they'd rip me off they did.....stay away
