I have called back about a transmission return and I sent back the part and received my money back as soon as they got the part.

both my neighbor and myself called them on 2 seperate occasions, neighbor had a running car in high river to pick up, called them 6 times. and did not show up. and myself i had a parts car i needed removed on may 25th,2016. told them it was a parts car, engine and trans was there but out of car. guy on phone said it wasnt worth the trouble. i would have to pay for it to be towed because of fuel and what they pay the driver. i was like ok??? so i called a company in calgary. not only did they say they will take it but offered me 50 dollars. i said no thanks. its a free car just need it gone... so if you want your car towed or scrapped call metro towing, they took care of me unlike these jokers

I call BS on the negative reviews. This place IS ONE OF THE BEST wrecking yards i tried, THEY are the only that took the time and accomplished what the others could not do. The front desk crew took extra time and calling around to get what i needed at no cost. Roger is very nice and honest guy. This yard will now be my go too part supplier when i need something.

Don’t buy from this place!!! I bought headlights for my car and they sold me the wrong ones even though they looked identical the manager Roger said that they were for the coupe not the sedan. After going back home I realized the lights were wrong so I called back to possibly get a refund or swap them out for the right set of headlights the manager told me he was really busy every time and that he would call me back but he never called back. I called him about 3-4 times same thing and now he won’t even answer my calls at all. BE AWARE!!!

Beware of Roger. Bought a transmission from these guys. Transmission was Defective after installed. Got the usual run around from Roger slick talking for a week. And now they stopped answering my phone calls have left 3 messages with 0 answers. U HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Would 100% recommend these guys for anyone looking for quality used auto parts. Roger and the boys provide excellent, honest service and an overall great experience when looking for the part you need. Gotten parts off them twice. A great example of honesty was my recent inquiry into a used transmission that the guys had on a police interceptor crown vic on their lot. Deal was made, deposit put down, but then when metal shavings were discovered upon draining of fluid, the owner (Roger) called and communicated to me that the part was not in condition that they initially thought and would not recommend as a quality replacement, and thus offered to outsource me another transmission (same specs, model, kms) or return back my deposit, no questions asked. I will definitely be going back to these guys again for any used part inquiry that I might have in the future. Respect, and keep up the good work guys!

Roger is the best guy you can have, very nice and receptive. I forgot my gas cap after buying gas, I browsed the price online and was getting the range of $50-70. I called Roger and I went there, he gave me what I was looking for at $5 dollars, eventually I wasn’t with cash and wanted to pay with my card, he said I shouldn’t bother and practically he gave me for free. This Man is such a nice man, a nice place, if you have any parts you want to buy, just give him a call and go there, you will get it a far cheaper price from the market price. The man is a good Man, God bless him

We are very unimpressed... This place is a joke.The parts we received from these guys were of inferior quality. $350 labor had to be completed on the parts we received. We have been contacting them since November in regards to a credit. We have continually got the run around. Yes we will issue a credit. So and so will call you back. No one has EVER called back! Well, it is now the end of January. I called again, I was told that Jay has been on holidays since November. You mean to tell me there is no one else who is left in charge to deal with these issues? The fellow I spoke to told me to hold, put me on hold, then picked back up and hung up on me. We will NEVER use this business again!

Bought a motor that was said to be in good running condition. They didn't ship it until over a month after it was paid for. Now the shop that's installed the motor for me says it needed camshafts. After the camshafts were replaced and motor was installed, my mechanic tells me there's a bottom end noise! So I bought a paperweight from these guys and now they tell me the 60 day warranty is up on the blown motor they sent me! Have a lawyer ready if you plan to try your luck with this place..

Bought a used engine that was suppose to be tested and in good condition. Got the engine installed a found it was knocking right away from the bottom end. Have tried to resolve the issue for 2 months now with Roger. Finally decided to contact my credit card company to have the charges reversed. Never buy any used parts from these guys.

Happily my experience with Black Diamond Auto Parts was very positive. Every employee I spoke to was courteous, helpful, and friendly. Roger was eager and insistent to make sure that the seat I required would be a match for my vehicle before he would remove it from the wreck and I drive out from Calgary. The price beat his competitors. The bonus to me was that because my time was flexible, he was able to arrange the seat's installation for a fair price. I left his shop-- a very happy and satisfied customer. Will definitely patronize BDA Parts in the future. Thanks fellows!

Bought an engine, took them over a month to ship it and now that the shop has installed it we found out it has rod knock and won't refund me for a junked engine. Don't buy from this place unless you're looking for an overpriced lawn ornament.
