Well this is where used batteries and metals go . Make sure it's sorted and cleaned before you drop anything else off. They give you a reason that it's dirty scrap metal that needs to be resorted. In the end I got less than I wanted for scrap metal

Went here to look for some scrap metal for a blacksmithing club I am running out of our local high school. Most of the people in the office were friendly and helpful. They lent me some gear and let me look at the scrap piles. One fellow actually came out and helped me look for suitable material. At the end of the day they ended up donating the metal which was unexpected but greatly appreciated!

Had a mixed load with mostly thin wall mild steel and some bigger pieces of tubing, thick wall galvanized tubes as well as probably 50 lbs of aluminum. This guy told me to place it all in the "white" pile (lowest price) for old appliances of which I had none. Seems like a busy place, intended more for commercial outfits, which is all well and good. But if you have small loads , mixed loads, you're not sure of what you got, what it's worth, where exactly it needs to go, I'd take it somewhere else.

Visited last week for the first time. Dropped off a pickup full of pipe cut offs under 2 ft. $140 a ton. Just wasn't sure exactly where to go so I went into the office and asked. Get on the scale and then off to the right. Will return in a few months with another load.

We have been to a few of the scrap metal places in Edmonton and by far the people here,answer any question you have and help direct you when needed.My truck got a little banged up by the big magnet remover but that the chances you take when doing this job. I met Mike at the golf course we are both members at one day and after talking for a while he told me he was in the scrap metal business. I told him that I on occasion have some copper to get rid of but have always gone to another scrap yard. He told me to give Acme a try and so I did. I brought my copper to Acme and was treated great by everyone both in the yard and the office. I highly recommend taking your scrap to this very great company. Mike and I also made plans to golf together and I kicked his butt!!!

Horrible customer service from the guys in the yard. Felt super disrespected by Tony! I stepped out of my truck for a second to figure out what what needed to do. We'll over 20 feet from anyone and Tony Bagan shouting rudely at me to put a mask on. (which i was just about to do anyways) Then he went on to take his off and stand beside me as did the other guy that was with him who didn't even have one on. After he took the batteries he was rude about what i needed to do next which made rather angry. Desk staff was ok, but won't be coming back.???? Won't refer any friends either.

As someone who works creating provincial policies, Acme provided us an amazing overview of not only their operations but also the industry itself. We learned so much from our tour of their facilities and I am incredibly impressed with the level of integrity in the way they run their business and the way they treat their staff. The involvement and support for so many in the Edmonton community, both people and organizations is also something that needs to be highlighted. A company that operates with the safety of the community in mind but also takes it one step further and gives back when they can is rare. Edmonton is a better place because of companies like Acme.

These guys are slobs the place is covered in loose material they make you drive out into their yard which is a complete mess. Then if your lucky enough to not lose a tire or lucky enough to get a ruptured gas tank they tow you out onto the side of the road and tell you they are not liable . terrible customer service the lady at the desk followed me around bitching and telling me her side of a story that she wasnt even there for. Horrible people horrible service. At least the guys in the yard are nice.

wow, the person on the phone was very rude to me, they assumed that because i was a female that i did not know what i was talking about. I let him know i wanted to purchase some pieces & the asked me if i knew who i called. when i told him yes they were Acme scrap iron & tried to continue to tell him what i was looking for he said that i did not understand that he was telling me he was not a auto parts store.......I would not get 1" square steel tubing from an auto parts store. Maybe if I were a male he would not have acted this way.

General and other scrap yards in the past have been slow and give me almost nothing for copper. Acme always has cold drinks in the fridge and Michael even let me drive his Mercedes!
