The Young Artist World Piano Festival has taken place here several years, organized by the Wirth Center for the Performing Arts, and I've attended several concerts and master classes. The grounds and facilities at Bethel University are beautiful! I always enjoy visiting the campus.

Bethel University is trying to shut down Bethel Seminary San Diego. Behind closed doors, without a word to any "irrelevant" staff and students, they have made this decision and announced it via email today. Bethel Seminary San Diego is the ONLY seminary in San Diego that accepts women and is accredited. At such a liberal state as California with a growing homeless population, you would think that this Christian entity titled BETHEL (house of God) University would want to keep this seminary alive to continue to equip God's people with a calling for a home to bring His people to. Guess I was wrong? They've decided to take the money of our donors who gave to enrich Bethel Seminary San Diego and spend it on "online classes". #exposed

My husband & I graduated from what was then Bethel College & Seminary in 1968. My years there are among the best of my life! We were privileged to sing with the College Choir - the best of the best of my lifetime experiences. I most highly recommend Bethel to anyone trying to select the best college to attend. I especially recommend it to music majors as their music program is outstanding! Bethel is a Christian University with a student body consisting primarily of dedicated Christian young people. As with any Christian school, there are a few students who are sent there by their parents with the hope that the school will straighten them out. Fortunately, these students are few and far between! I can't recommend Bethel highly enough!

This was just my personal experience, but I received very judgemental treatment here, as in, throw the 1st stone, judgemental treatment, and had a pretty awful experience there. They wasted a lot of my time, and some money . Again, I have heard people that have had good experiences here, but that most certainly not my personal experience.

i think it's a great college and i love to do railfanning after classes since my first year and second year it's amazing to watch for Canadian National and Canadian Pacific Trains and it's cool

Bethel University is a great school for those who want to challenge themselves spiritually, socially, and academically. Professors care about their students and encourage them to challenge their own biases and expand their worldviews. The university provides many opportunities for students to get involved, whether that be chapel, athletics, student activities, resident life...etc. They also provide free services for students to look for internships and jobs before and after they graduate.

The average student here tends to be fairly wealthy, white, straight, and a "Christ-follower." But if you're not like the average Bethel kid, and if you are brave, come to this university, share your perspectives, help burst the "Bethel bubble." Caring professors and a beautiful nature trail will be there for you along the way.

I received my BA and my MA from Bethel and can say without a doubt that this University set an amazing trajectory for me in having a successful career. Beyond that, my faith was challenged and deepened. I've continued to build on 20+ years of incredible friendships that began at Bethel. Now, it is a joy for me to see MANY of my peers send their own kids to Bethel and to hear of the ways that they, too, are setting their feet on a firm foundation in faith and in vocational training.

I remember walking through the halls of Bethel University saying “I could live here”. Beautiful scenery, great food! Oh! The food!, quality of education is ???? class, they take sports ???? seriously ????????, hostels are homely and the environment is clean. I am not an academic person but if I got a scholarship to Bethel, I would be the most enthusiastic academic individual you’ve ever seen ????.

An amazing University full of diversity, fun, challenges, and a disc golf course. While I enjoy the beauty of this school, and grounds the most, the people you meet here are truly amazing. The Bethel Disc Golf Course (DGC) is semi-private, but meet someone from Bethel and try it out for yourself. Bravo on the full 18 holes this year.

Pretty campus, especially for its urban setting. Parking can be a challenge depending on where you are going, as there are really two main lots on either end of campus. We were there for a piano event, and thankfully the event had a decent number of signs up. It would have been confusing to find the location if not.

Not a great school, it has moved away from its faith foundation is now a secular school with a chapel on it. Go to North Central or a more faith based school.

Do not send your children here, and do not attend class as an adult here. Bethel University does not "practice what they preach". Bethel University has very little interest in Christian values.

I have a couple friends from there and that’s about it! Profs are sweet and care but counseling and Human Resources people don’t care about you if you have a problem. Fix the problem not move it. Not a fan of this place and will not ever recommend it.

Graduated from Bethel in 2014 -- and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I had as much problem with the Covenant than the next guy, but my time at Bethel taught me some very important lessons and, more importantly, shaped me into an independent thinker with an expanded worldview. Plus, I made awesome, lifelong friends.

I attended the adult program and completed 3 degrees. Overall, I had a good experience with my education, but I do feel it was over-priced. Many of the teachers were very good and knew their fields well, which made learning more applicable. Other teachers played class favorites which was negatively perceived by many of my fellow students. The adult program is very intense but doable for a very disciplined working adult. The best part of my experience was attending the International Business Trip abroad to Europe that was worth every single penny!

Bethel has gone off of its foundation of Christian heritage. I would like another reviewer said not send your kids or recommend this to adults. Bethel has had 3 large layoffs and alot of it is due to where it is heading. This used to be a top ten Christian workplace in MN and now it does not even register. I was in a class where the professor stated that "fundies" are the root of all evil in the world. Think about it. The only time the Bible is used is when it is advantageous to them. Avoid and send them to North Central or Northwestern or Crown until they fix this.
