Music Together is so much more than a music class. We started the program when my oldest was 2.5 years old and when my youngest was 6months old. It was such an awesome way to connect and explore music in a fun and relaxed setting with my kids. At home, my kiddos would sing songs, make their own music and it was such a joy to be a part of. Their creativity and joy amazed me. And, the CDs were golden for all car-rides & trips!! I learned so much about the cognitive and emotional benefits of having music as a foundation in my children's' development from instilling confidence, fostering creativity, and how music fires up the same connections that are used in language and math. I cannot say enough positive things about the program, our creative and amazing teacher Taryn, or the joy that Music Together brought our family and still does as we continue with the program and as my daughter has started to play the piano! Definitely worth checking out and the "try-it" classes are free!

My son Leo and I started Music Together when he was just 5 weeks old! The transformation that these classes have had on both of our lives are unexplainable! We've signed up for our third round this fall and we could not be more excited! Jodie & the team are one of a kind, and their love of music radiates through their smiles each and every class. I cannot imagine our household without these songs!! (My son still to this day freezes the moment I start singing them). Everyone needs music together in their life!!!

Jodie and her classes are amazing! We got hooked on her classes with our two young children and continued for several years as a regular part of our Saturday mornings. Jodie is warm and nurturing, and understands children in a way that many do not. Her love of music and teaching is clear, and we're very appreciative that we found her and Music Together when our children were young. Our children continue to demonstrate an appreciation of music, and we give credit to Jodie for helping to develop this in them.

We love KW Music together and my daughter has gone since she was six months old and she's now 2.5. The classes have provided such a great way for our family to sing dance and communicate with one another. I can't tell you how many toddler meltdowns have been addressed through singing and dancing as a distraction. It has given us a tribe of other parents who are trying to use music and movement to help their kids grow. Highly recommend this program and our favourite teachers are Chat and Sarah.

This program and Jodie specifically have changed the way that our family truly understands music from a developing child's perspective. There are so many benefits of this program: 1. The music is purposeful. It's not just your standard kids music that's sung while kids run around listening to it. It's structured in a way that helps a child's mind grow, learning rhythm, tone, and impulse control. Another perk is that it's kids music that the adults in the room aren't completely annoyed with. 2. JODIE is AMAZING. She's so energetic and engages with every single child individually, by name and caters to the way they're learning and understanding what they're hearing. Our daughter loves Jodie, especially when she brings her guitar out. 3. We get music books for each session that have become a staple in our house. Each one is different, includes music that's familiar in one shape or another as well as music that I've never heard of before, likely because it was created by the programs creator. 4. Our daughter engages with the other kids in the class (somewhat modified due to Covid but Jodie does her best to still optimize the experience) which is great for her socialization. They all have the music in common which is great for then and great for us as parents. I highly recommend this program to any new parents looking to engage their child in something highly meaningful from a very young age.

My daughter and I started with Jodie at Music Together when she was just 7 weeks old. It has truly been one of the most incredible experiences we've had together. Every time Sloan hear's the song "Hello Everybody" her face lights up. The entire collection of songs we've learned have been such a great tool on long car rides, fussy days or just playing and having fun. Through Music Together I found the confidence as a FTM to venture out on our own for the first time, I made some incredible and lasting connections with other Mom's, but most importantly we've instilled a love of music in our daughter and through that she's learned and grown in so many incredible ways. I highly recommend this program and especially Jodie who is so wonderfully energetic and welcoming as an instructor.

We absolutely love the Music Together classes! We've been going since my son was 18 months old and he still loves it at 5. My youngest child has been going since she was 3 weeks old. And the best part, I enjoy it too! Very highly recommended.

Two words: Life changing. If that sounds like hype, try putting your one-year old into a class with Taryn and watch them grow into a musically literate (and music loving!) five-year old, with a great sense of rhythm, confidence, and joy. So yes, I'm pretty sure Taryn and Music Together changed my kid's life and gave him a lasting love and appreciation of music, which he'll take with him wherever he goes. I'm so happy Rhythm Kids is now available, since we get to go for several more years.

We are getting ready to start our second year of Music Together and we can't wait! In our first year our son was two, we noticed a big improvement in his talking. And as we have continued I think the music has helped to increase his vocabulary. We love the special time together in class. And the CDs live in our car all the time. We sing the songs all the time; brushing teeth, walking, before bed, driving in the car, and just to say, "hello, everybody"! Our experience has truly enriched our lives. It continues to help us include music in our daily life with the whole family. Looking forward to new songs soon!

My family has been attending music together for 4 years. It is so much more then just music instruction. Jodie brings so much passion and care into creating a safe space for parents to connect with their kids and other families. When my children and I enter Jodie’s classroom our worries are left at the door and music, dance and play fill our hearts with joy. There is never any judgement and we are celebrated and encouraged for being who we are as music makers. She inspires us to bring music into our everyday lives and models for us the power of music to connect with our children. As a family of 4, we have enjoyed singing, dancing, and playing instruments with Jodie every Saturday for my children’s entire lives, and we love it. She is part of our family! We started Music Together in the spring session with our six month old son after hearing rave reviews. We decided to give it a try after trying many different music programs. After the first session it was easy to see that Jodie ran a program that was a cut above. She brings a level of enthusiasm and passion to every class that can’t be replicated. We have signed our 10 month old up for the next session and our whole family is eager to get started again. Music Together with Jodie has truly become one of the highlights of our week.

Our family has been going to Music Together classes for over three years at this point and have loved every minute of it! The curriculum is sound, the teachers are amazing at improvising and meeting each child where they are at. Both my 4-year-old and 18 month old LOVE going. If I'm honest, it's also a highlight of my week. It gives me the chance to get in some (light) exercise while having fun with my kids. It's really fun to see them take home what they're learning and to watch them experiment with music in ways that they otherwise would not have. Jodie, the head honcho, is always friendly and fabulous and responds quickly whenever required (we had a weird situation with enrollment and I needed assistance) and Taryn (our class' teacher) meets my shy 4-year-old where she's at and knows when to encourage (push ;)) her and when to let her sit back and watch. I would (and have!) recommend Music Together KW to pretty much everyone without a second thought. Thanks for everything that you bring to our community!

Love love LOVE Music Together. We have spent hours with Sarah singing and my toddlers thrive because of this (added bonus, it helps my mental health too)! The musical collections are fantastic and a great way to make home life more enjoyable. We listen to these songs and sing them everywhere! I highly recommend showing up to dance and sing your heart out, your children (and soul) will thank you! ~Happy because I sing~
