Horrible place for a public school, the only saving grace is that they blocked off he woods and made that side of Parkside off limits to the high school students otherwise might have younger and younger kids being introduced to drugs and other things they are far too young for...but that also alienated a whole group of students from Parkside who considered the woods to be their spot to hangout and send their breaks and lunches at and now are stuck at the railroad tracks so that just contributes to the 1 star rating, if I could do a zero star rating I would but won't let me...I'm sure it's a nice new clean school overall but I'm just going on what I know about it and it's location in relation to the things around it

i would do a 2 and a half stars but i can'ttttttttttttt, so we're just going with 3 stars now, as someone who been at JW since SK, here's what i think about the school like every schools, JWPS have its flaws, There's alot of neglecting of helping students dealing with bullies, all the people in charge do is talk to the bullies, then when they do it again, they just continually talk to them about it, and they don't stop , they don't actually do anything about it One of my friends got and still is being constantly bullied and the principal doesn't do much about it, i miss the old principal, she actually dealt with bullying, and lots of drugs being done outside at 2nd break, then again, lots of students from other elementary school in gr 8 prob does its aswell, so why are we singling JW out? now the good thing about JWPS? honestly, there isn't much except for this ones- - alot of friendly teachers and also some funny ones the school also doesn't deal with trouble makers very well, Honestly, the school was great til the current principal came along, some ideas of his are ridiculous, plain silly, and kinda bias =wanted to put a line through the tar mat and give the younger kids more area then the gr 7 and 8's= my responds to that -uhm? why should the younger kids get more area? sure, there's more little kids, but we take up more space then they do =gave the gr 7 and 8's a chance to go on the PG but never actually enforce it= this has been going on for a long while, the younger kids took it anyways when it was the 7 and 8's turn and the staff didn't kick them off the only actual good thing the principal does for us is let the 7 and 8's go out for second break so in total, i love the school but one person is ruining it all, that person is the only reason why i can't wait to start HS
