Class of 1995. 4 years of my teenage years were spent here. Even my aunt went here years before me. Such a big school and such nice teachers i had. Went back years after. Boy, did it bring back a lot of memories. The cafeteria, the gym, the principal's office (LOL). AVSS is a St. Thomas landmark! ...And close to downtown (Many lunches were spent playing pinball and arcade machines)

I’ve been here for 2 years and it has Great tech programs, the best in St.Thomas and the staff is good. The students are not the best but it’s ok

Worst highschool in st.thomas, stick to good old Parkside, much better sports program and student body overall unless alot of things have changed since I was in school which very well could be esp since they boarded up the woods and now make the kids hangout at railroad tracks on breaks and lunch..not to mention the public school right next door which I won't even get into here but back to voaden...I'm sure not every kid that goes here will end up a junkie, alcoholic, criminal, teen parent drop out but a high percentage will and it may sound harsh but unfortunately it's the sad truth no matter who wants to hear it, trying to put an honest review here about what I know about places around town

I am a graduate of Arthur voting class of 81. I have been a volunteer here for many years. I presently supervise the weight room after school. The school is wheelchair accessible except for the weight room.
