This allowed us to see old houses as well as the cemetery. I recommend walking shoes or good sneakers! (Original) Très belle endroit! Must do in Percé. We hiked the Les Colonies trail and joined the Le Chemin du Roi after that one. Took us about 3hrs the entire loop. Exceptionally clean air to breath, there's is toilets around the trails, not too many and I wouldn't recommend using them. Try using the washroom before heading to the island. There's also a couple of places selling snacks and water, but I would also recommend bringing your own. On the Chemin du Roi stare enough at the ocean and you'll spot dozens of sea lions. There is millions of birds congregating in this island for reproduction which makes it very unique. Hard to believe there's such clear water beaches in Canada. Loved it!

visiting this island is highly recommended for first time visitors, I did it in October the weather was perfect, plenty of gray seals, birds sanctuary, hiking trails, you will find public washrooms, during the same ferry trip you will get the chance to see the perce rock from different angles.

A must when visiting the Gaspésie peninsula. The Bonaventure island hike is relatively easy, but get ready to walk for a bit. Do not forget to bring comfortable shoes, and water. For those who have sensitive noses, the northern gannet colony in the island stinks quite a bit so be aware :)

A beautiful little island outside city of Perce, the cruise will take people to the island after a wonderful tour of Rock Perce, Quebec tourism symbol, you need to pay entry fee, $9, kids free, to visit the provisional park, home to one of the largest colony of Northern Gannett in the world, said more than 100,000 summer season is when the bird raising the baby, a lots, there's a short trail leading to the colony where the bird gathering, 5 minutes hiking more, you reach the look up tower, then continue hiking along the seashore, you can see Grey seal in the water and resting on rocks, 3 hours hiking would give a wonderful memory, the hiking is easy one. There are empty homes on the island (government bought them out to make the provisional park), from island, you can view the perce rock from different angle, good place to visit
