This was my first experience with an online course and it was amazing. My teacher was very responsive and marked assignments within the day of upload. My principle was also extremely responsive and helped with any problems I had. It was an extremely streamlined and good experience with the course material and they are updating assignments to even reflect current events going on in the world. Best online school you can choose.

I had a wonderful experience with Ontario eSecondary School. I took Advanced Functions, as I needed to upgrade this mark before applying to University, and at first I was nervous that I wouldn't get the mark I needed as I wouldn't have a face-to-face connection with my teacher, but using the provided (and free) tutoring service I had great success! I also was able to make my own schedule, and finish my course on my own time. The flexibility, helpful teacher, and many resources made this experience great for me and I would recommend it to anyone.

Terrible experience. The work load is more than what they expect from students in mainstream school. I talked to staff and terrible service, when I called them it was as if they were mad that I called. Overall, terrible service. I understand you have to do all the work but the staff is so rude and the work is just extra, I asked students who took the same classes in main stream school and they never got such assignments.

I was able to upgrade my ENG4U grade with Ontario eSecondary School. The course was really interesting and engaging, providing me with an opportunity to really enhance my writing skills. This helped prepare me even more for university. The teacher I had was really great. She was always available to answer my questions or meet with me around my own busy schedule. The guidance counselor that helped me along the way was always generous and extremely helpful!

OES is an incredible way to obtain high school credits. You're able to finish assignments at your own pace without any pressure. Whenever I needed help, the teachers were so reliable and friendly. They replied very quickly and were able to explain everything I needed very effectively. The price of the courses was so worth it for me. I was able to manage work and school at the same time while also receiving tutoring whenever I needed it. If you're looking to upgrade your marks or obtain high school credits, then I highly recommend OES.

Really excellent courses. I have my honours biology degree with a minor in physics and chemistry and had to go back to high school believe it or not ,to upgrade to get into super competitive medical programs in Ontario. Pandemic has made it worse. Placement sizes are smaller, forty people or less are accepted a year .But thanks to this school I was able to work full time and upgrade to get ready to go back to school. The content was so awesome I’d actually do biology again for fun if I could. The teacher I have ms . S is amazing. She’s quick to respond. Super kind and patient. I remember I emailed her late at night and she got back to me right away. Thank you for everything ! Looking forward to my next course.

The teachers and staff are very helpful, who respond very quickly to any questions or concerns you may have. I would highly recommend it for finishing high school courses at your own pace for post-secondary or just the high school diploma. You can finish it as early you want. I took World Issues and Challenge and Change. Totally worth it!!

Very easy to follow the material - all the videos and readings they provided were easy to understand and made concepts clear. The teacher was always prompt about returning emails and answering questions. If you need to do some high school credits online - Ontario eSecondary is a good choice!

My daughter enrolled in Ontario e-Secondary school and had an amazing experience. It is the best virtual school out there, and we have recommended it to our friends and family. OES' online courses are expertly layed out and very easy to follow! Teachers are easy to connect with and always willing to help through prompt email responses and video calls. Admin processes all requests very quickly, such as report cards and exam proctor forms. The Grade 12 Business Management course is very interesting and the Grade 12 University English is definetly more entertaining than it is in regular high school. The flexibility to complete courses at your own pace, with no assignmwnt deadlines, is especially helpful for people working or attending regular high school while taking these courses! I wish I'd heard of OES sooner!

I found my experience with my Grade 11 Physics course ay OES to be very straight forward and well laid out. I was able to maneuver the course page easily and it was always clear of what assignments I needed to do in what order. OESS was such a big help to me, my school didn't offer a course that I really wanted to take, luckily it was on OESS and I was able to take it. It's great for students who want to explore their options before deciding on a program for uni, plus the content is really engaging and it was really fun to do the work at my own pace instead of the teachers pace. Bonus: The teacher's are super understanding and accommodating, they understand and only want the best for your education and the tutoring help is amazing (so patient - big for me). Thank You!

Needed to get my course done quickly before university began in the fall. My course instructor, Christine, and a very kind woman from the schools office, Mara, were both very helpful in assisting me to reach my deadlines! World Issues is an easy enough course that genuinely teaches you a lot :)

- Staff is committed to your success -Course load is manageable - Will try to work around your needs - There isn't much of communication available between teachers and student since the teachers check there email once a day so it could be hard to be contacting them if there is an issue that comes up.

I completed a Grade 11 University Physics class with OES which was required for a college program that I was looking to pursue. My experience was fantastic; the opportunity that OES gives you to learn at your own pace is really great! The tools material provided to assist you in learning are more than adequate. They provide a free online tutoring service which is extremely helpful in a pinch! Everyone, including my teacher and the administration, was so helpful especially Mara (Program Admin)! I re-took grade 11 university functions and received a much better education and final grade than my experience in public schooling in Southern Ontario. OES eSecondary has to be called out of how flexible they were and definitely their tutoring engine "PAPER" available 24/7! The teacher I had Dr. Sean Clapham was so helpful I didn't think I could have such an understanding teacher to help me throughout this course as I was under such a tight time constraint. Mara from the OES Office was punctual with responses and always had such a positive attitude whenever responding to emails. Almost all the tutors on PAPER were just awesome and made sure to not give me the answers to my questions but rather helped me to figure out what methods I should apply and how to answer the questions in the proper manner. Tutors being available all the time was such a life saver as I'd be doing my math class around the clock, from 7am to 7am they were always there for me. I highly recommend OES to anyone that needs to get their courses done!

What a positive experience! I’ll start with the administrative portion. The administrative staff was very flexible with payments and third party involvement. As a special needs student they were very receptive to accommodations regarding testing and exams. Course material and a teacher was available within a day of admission and very streamlined. An unexpected access was to a tutor program which was available 24/7 and extremely helpful!! I leaned on those tutors heavily and it made a difference in my depth of chemical understanding. Within seconds someone was always available to provide me help. The teacher was engaging, prompt and always available. Every barrier I encountered in understanding was resolvable through different resources. This is not a gimme course. Expect a challenge and expect reasonable gaps in information that encourage someone to search beyond course material to develop a greater understanding of course objectives. I feel confident that I am prepared for the next level in education and thankful that I took the OES route. Good luck!

Ontario eSecondary School is by far the best online learning academy in Ontario. My teacher was very great as he was easily accessible, had very fast response times, and was extremely friendly. He even had the chance to do our live meeting on Thanksgiving Monday! The course content for the class I took was great, and will be very beneficial for post-secondary learning. It was amazing that they provided free online tutoring for students, that feature really stood out to me when selecting OES for this course. You will not regret taking a course here!

It took a little time to get used to online learning but because the school caters to online learning, everything was very clear and concise. I also needed online learning so I can work around my schedule and learn at my own pace. The course content is extensive and the teachers are readily available to assist you whenever you need it. I have taken Calculus and Vectors and English and I am pleased with the grades that I had received. I would recommend anyone who wishes to upgrade their highschool grades to give OES Highschool a try. You get to work at your own pace. I was able to complete the courses in 4 weeks for both of them total. The courses are offered year round I believe so you can start whenever you want.
