The school is run by a bunch of bots dont send your kids here

This school is very good and I like it alot. But I just wish they would add more facilities. Other than that the teachers are so fun and helpful and I've learned a lot. GO KSM!!

Do not send your child here. They do not care about their students. The reputation and rank is all that matters. I transferred to public school in the seventh grade and was behind after going to KSM from JK-gr 6 . They're have little to no facilities and even the 1-2 facilities they had were so dirty and not taken care of.

My son went to the same school. They charged Me $500.00 for building fund. Same time they told me that it will be refunded to you when your son leaves or finishes the school. My son didn’t like it and I didn’t want to force him so after two years I put him back to public school. When I asked them to refund the building funds they start making excuses we don’t charge building fund. Where is receipt?. How can you save that cheap quality receipt for two years. So I had bad experience with them. He was getting home work every day but I had to help him to do the homework so I could not understand what teachers were doing in the school for 7 hours. if he has to bring the whole work at home I was busy with my own business couldn’t get time to help my son with home work so I was paying school fees plus the tuition fee on top of that I thought once my son goes to private school I don’t have to worry about his home work or his tuition but I was wrong. I didn’t really see much improvement by sending him to private school because teachers were doing the same thing printing the home work from online websites and handing over to the students just like any other school. Washroom were dirty my son had never use the bathroom for number two he would go for only per. I have seen that with my own eyes when I brought the matter to the principles attention she told me you can talk to our maintenance guy. I said excuse me is that my job I have to talk to your maintenance guy you should be doing that when I looked inside the toilets were nasty. that was really bad experience.

This school's way of teaching can be boring at times but is really good and study wise I would recommend however athletic wise they are not good i was in the soccer team and we only had 1match , and that was at the last day of school they did not even inform a day before or a week before it was right on the spot when they said "today we will be having a soccer match" so there everyone was in there normal school uniform playing(1 kids pants even ripped ). Overall study wise Yes! but athletic wise NO!!!!!!!!!!!! you thought i was done aaaaaaah no there are some nice teachers but a lot of them are strict, The religious teacher is the most strict.( ya i use to be in this school )(NOT NOW!).

I went to this school for eight years and enjoyed maybe the first 3. After the principal changed from Mr. Soni to Ms.Meena, the school went completely downhill. The school now cares more about the reputation than the school itself. KSM likes to say that they are teaching us more in public school but when i transferred to public in seventh grade I actually knew less than the other students.

I am presently teaching at Khalsa School Malton. I feel proud to share that our school is ranked # 1 as per Fraser Institute ranking with a perfect score of 10 on 10. Our students are 100 % above provisional level in Reading, Writing and Mathematics as per standardised testing of EQAO this year !! Congratulations to my students and their parents !!

I absolutely hated this place. When I was in the 8th grade, the principal, Ms. Meena and some random teacher kept accusing me of setting fires in the girl's bathroom. I constantly told them it was not me, I told them to check the cameras outside the bathroom (surprise, they don't work). I had my personal things searched through, I was pulled out of class on numerous occasions, and a teacher physically grabbed my wrists to smell my sweater because the seams were coming out and she told me it looked burnt. I asked them what proof they had to accuse me and they told me that multiple 3rd graders (ie. 7 & 8 year olds) told them they saw me. This was absolutely insane, and unbelievable. They began to realize it wasn't me because other teachers were supporting me, telling the principal I was in class when another fire had taken place. I felt harassed and that my personal rights were absolutely violated. Though, the school was great with the old principal Mr. Soni, it really went downhill with Ms. Meena, I've never been treated this way and I actually refused to ever go back because it was honestly terrifying for me to be accused of such a horrendous thing. If you wanna send your kid here, go for it but I would never, I am honestly still traumatized because of the constant harassment. They do not care about your child they only care about money. Mostly everyone I went to school with has a bad experience. 3 years of my life...gone.

It is wrong to say that the parents of khalasa school kids are barely educated / under educated. They are not brain washing the kids.My son came from public school and he liked this school very much, teachers are very helpful,

Here are my observations of past two years of my child in elementary grades. - Academic: Fraser rating of 10/10 is quite evident in the school's curriculum and teaching style. Teachers get each student understand the concepts well, practice enough. Project work keeps their creative side up and groom their presentation skills. - Religion teaching helps inculcate superior human values in kids. I am not sikh yet have a firm belief in values and teachings in sikhism. - Teachers and staff are highly committed and responsive. I have seen them responding to queries even in late evenings. - The infrastructure is not high class, yet i never observed anything missing as a facility to my child. Overall I rate this school as a great place for child's all round development.
