Our son had a fantastic experience at MAC. As an athlete who spent a lot of time away training, the teachers and staff at MAC worked with him to create a unique program that would support his academic goals. He was able to achieve both in his sport and in school in a balanced environment. We are so grateful to Lisa and her staff for this support. Our son was accepted to the business program of his choice, and completed his first year on pace and was very prepared. We could not have asked for more.

I came to this school for a tour and it was AWFUL. The kids seemed so out of control and not well behaved or lectured for such poor behavior. Very little opportunities. There are no clubs in this school, or any way for you to meet new people in different grades or classes. School's VERY small with like only 200 kids from pk-grade 12. Say goodbye to your social life if you decide to come here...

Just switched my child to a different private school and will never recommend to anyone. There were a few families switched their children to other schools at the same time as I know of.

We love MacLachlan. Could not be happier with the staff and curriculum! When we compared Maclachlan to other schools they came ahead in every area! I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking! It’s a hidden Gem!

My children used to come to this school but my wife and I decided to switch them out, due to the fact that this school gives very little opportunities to it's students with no extra curriculars and sports. Another big reason we switched them out was because we noticed our children become more isolated and less social. My daughter developed social anxiety, and simple tasks like ordering her food at a restaurant would create an issue. This school focuses too much on the academic portion and less on their students well-being. Lastly, the staff isn't well trained and often switch subjects every school year which I don't understand how it works.

I toured all private schools in Oakville before sending my daughter to MacLachlan! Really proud to be a part of Maclachlan Family! Small classes, personal attention, FANTASTIC teachers who REALLY care and go above and beyond to make sure the children understand the material. Our daughter looks forward to going to school every day and my youngest daughter can't wait to join her this year!
