This is my second time around attending a college and it was hands down the worst experience I've ever had. During the course of my program at the st.catharines campus, it has been nothing but problem after problem. Not only is Trillium unprofessional, their communication with the students as well as staff was non existent, many students along with myself were cheated of equipment and hands on experience, we were charged more than double in tuition fees compared to other schools, we were constantly fed false information, and the list goes on. Not only did they deprive and mistreat their students, they also blatantly mistreated and abused their staff. Our instructors were being held responsible for things in which were coming out of their OWN pockets because Trillium was not making the effort to make sure their students had the best experience. Within 6 months of our start date, we had a handful of instructors quit, including the head of the campus. After a long 10 months (which was only supposed to be 7) I finally completed my program and was excited to receive my certificate in the mail.. until I actually physically had it in my hands. I recieved my certificate basically folded in half, edges were ripped and mangled, and huge crease marks up and down the page.. I was extremely unimpressed. It's safe to say that I will never recommend trillium college to anyone I know and I am extremely happy to be able to wash my hands of this school. Oh and ps I iist recieved my diploma today and the frame was completely smashed to pieces

Shannon the student financial planner has been great with all my paperwork and required forms. Always a smile, just started the PSW course and very happy with all Staff this far.

I attended Trillium College for the Medical Administration program. Despite there being some hiccups in the financial dept and in the transition of working in person to home due to COVID-19, I do feel that my schooling over all covered all the ground needed to be the best at the profession. I attended the Niagara campus, and it was a good experience with very kind and receptive instructors. Out of all my classes there was only one instructor that I didn't feel I meshed with which I feel very normal and had nothing to do with the college itself. I believe Trillium has improved their quality in education and has inspired me to actively be a life time learner. If you commit yourself to their learning you will excel. I was hired in my field 6 months post graduation during COVID in a Medical Clinic. I would have appreciated a placement with this program, but ultimately felt competent in my role without one. I am now going back for a Post Graduate program with Trillium as well. Over all, the negative reviews are a bit deceiving. I never had a terrible experience with them or their educational standards.

I attended the PSW program. I kept my head down and didn’t bother to get wrapped up in the dramatics that seem to makeup the majority of the St.Catharines community. I graduated with honours and received a diploma that has landed me two jobs. None of which were hesitant to hire. When I attended the school my teachers were all very empathetic and informative. My classmates who had the same mindset as myself and have graduated — have all held a job pertaining to our scope of practice. I’m not going to give the school five stars because clearly there are some revamps that need to be done but overall my experience was not that bad at all, especially compared to the rest of these people that have attended within the past year.

AVOID AVOID AVOID I am not one to write reviews at all; however if I could recommend a school it would most definitely not be this one! Save your money and go to a public college instead of this “school” It is ran like a business and they simply do not care about you they just want your money. During my time here I had so many bad experiences. Couldn’t keep staff, everyone is so unorganized I was in the estethics program and while the teacher is amazing, the school was complete trash. We did not have any of the supplies or equipment we needed, hence the fact that I am not working in my field because I didn’t learn properly. I had complained to the owner who said he would make it up to me and he realized how much of a mess it was. He NEVER ever got back to me and brushed it off. This experience was so bad and I have wasted so much money in the end that I wish I never even went to school. Do your research first. This is not a good school by any means.

I had to give this one star to post but it deserves zero. I'm in the PSW course and we have broken equipment, the lift doesnt work so we cant learn that huge step, they have no teacher backup, when our teacher is away. We are being poorly treated by the Man (i use that term lightly) in the office. When a grown man comes into a class yelling to mind our own business about unfair treatment within the school, really? I have never been treated so poorly as I am in this school. If I wasn't stuck paying $7000 back I'd have walked out today. We have an online portal for school but we're yelled at for using our cell phone in class with no teacher to fill in, if I wanted half the course to be self taught I would have saved alot and done it online. Why have an online portal if we can't use it to learn? We are adults here and all our concerns are brushed off, followed by aggressive verbal assault. Don't waste money on this circus. Certain staff there should be fired for abusive conduct. I somehow think voicing concerns is pointless. They clearly only care about getting money, who cares if it's a good experience for students.

Tried to book an apt with a student massage therapist. Cannot believe how condescending and rude the girl was who I spoke with. Have attended a number of other student massage places over the years. Very poor reflection on the school to be treated so poorly by an admin as a first time caller.

Rip off and is not rekignized by very many job opportunities when ur done it and it's way over priced

Instructors for massage program are awesome. However the admin are a shot show. Incredibly rude to Instructors and students. And due to someone not doing their job, my class was screwed out of our boards exams. If I could give 2 different reviews, one based on instructors and one for the school. Instructors- 5 star Admin-0 star

Don't apply if u have a criminal record or your course will be put on hold for at least a year in order to get a pardon.

horrible. Just horrible. This institution is moving to a business mindset. They do not care for their students and have not adapted to the pandemic well - it will take an additional year to complete your degree. NO NOT GO HERE!

I've attended trillium college (St. Catharines campus) for just shy of a year, taking the massage program. at first the staff seemed warm and welcoming, eager to assist you in reaching ones goals, how ever over my time attending the school has been turned upside down making it not such a welcoming place to attend and not easy for such an academically challenging course. As of the recently there was some major staff / student "drama" where unfortunately one of the massage teachers was let go, with that being said word went around fast by not only who one would expect it from (students) but unfortunately by staff as well, leaving some teachers distraught about such a decision affecting the current classes of both teachers, which is so unfortunate counting the money that I personally invested and am now in debt over. with this going around the school it really showed in who we are expecting to give us the highest level of education. I'm a high 80/ 90's student , (i feel horrible for any one not so academically inclined but wanting to achieve something great). On another note: i personally struggled with one of my course's, resulting in me failing such :( with the expectation to rewrite anything i failed the following day, (unrealistic) when approaching the dean to see as to further steps needing to be taken to get me back on track i was slapped in the face and felt defeated , he said to me ( you shouldn't of failed either way, and its not unrealistic to retake everything the next day, while also starting a new course at the same time ) talk about feeling humiliated. i was beside my self that a man of such sonority would respond to me in such a manner. Before approaching him The teacher i had for this course was of little help even during the duration of this particular course, majority of such i feel i was self teaching and was given any additional support, never once did i expect my hand to be held, but rather the support of a TEACHER seeing there is a struggling student(no demonstration while teaching, no helpful direction..) Putting me beside my self and having no where to turn i ended up taking the rest of that week off (Wednesday - Friday however there was several snow days and weather wasn't in our favor) evaluating my decision in attending this " school " the following Monday i began emailing the campus director who ended up going on vacation without any notice and left my matter unresolved, and no one to take over such, i'm now almost 3 weeks behind and couldn't be more furious with my experience at trillium college, if i didn't put my self in such debt i would reconsider my decision to attend. Still with everything said im looking to complete my course and am hopeful to achive what i started! I am ashamed of my self that i didn't read the reviews before applying, as there are so many negative reviews being a money grab, which is exactly at this point how i'm feeling.lets just say professionalism is NOT their highest quality -_- ,I definitely don't recommend!

I would give less of a rating if Google would allow it. After being forced to give my contact information before being given any pertinent information about the specific course I was interested in, they still refused to tell me what the cost for the program was (something pretty important to a potential student). When I communicated very clearly that I was no longer interested, due to the lack of, and refusal to provide, communication, my phone number was taken off of their list and they never called me again. About 3 months later I received 2 emails, 3 days apart, generic copy and paste messages about fall and the weather with multiple font colour changes that read more like newsletters from a high school friend who got sucked into a pyramid scheme than anything professional from an educational institution. After not responding to those emails I received the attached email from one of their "career coaches" Steven Berenstein. Not only was this an incredibly inappropriate way for this person to communicate with a complete stranger, but he proceeded to follow my response email with claims that I was overreacting in my being upset, that I was illogical and that I was misinterpreting his respectful email. It's very clear that his email is not respectful and my efforts to explain that to him did not work so I figured I would share it here. Bottom line, do NOT trust an educational institution that refuses to provide you basic information about the course before locking you in to meetings and multiple phone calls, emails, etc. If they have to be that sneaky about the way they inform potential students what the costs of their education will be, I have no doubt they are incredibly sneaky about other important details as well.

I can’t understand the negative reviews of this place. I get people have their own experiences, but I’m assuming a lot of the hate is probably from people who are failing or not trying. Everything I’ve dealt with thus far with my program has been stellar. The communication, the content, the professionalism and the assistance with funding. Please don’t let the negative reviews deter you from this college.

responding to 'owner' Have done that. Bunch of incompetent fools in this building, the whole school is a SCAM. i Was there 10 days, REALIZED IT WAS A SCAM.. Signed a waiver stating I would not be charged for leaving within their xx amount of days. I realized Trillium was a scam and was told I could get out without costs. Years later -- I get shady people saying, "this is james, jake knows what this is about" and 5 years after attending trillium for 10 days, I have 10,000 'amount owing' hitting my credit. I have all documents to prove my case and will be seeing you in court.

This place is a joke. Not only do they not help you find placements but when you try to get information from them it takes 3 weeks. On top of that, due to covid, I was not in school so they sent a message to OSAP saying this and all of my grants (over 25000$) got turned into a loan. Today is December 21. I called the previous Friday. If no one reaches out to me by end of day on the 22nd I will be going above them to the better business bureau.

I filled out their online form for more information in May, and after receiving the information about one of their programs, I decided it wasn't for me, and emailed back the lady who had sent the info stating that I was not interested. Since then, I have received over 150+ phonecalls, from various numbers, asking if I would like more information. The main number they call from has now been blocked since July, and in my blocked calls list, there is now more than 100 attempts at calling me from that number. This is absolutely ridiculous and is harassment, and if it does not end soon I will be contacting legal services.

Booked 2 massages and we arrived only to be told we weren't in there books , even though we booked 1 month in advance . The dirty looking guy with very bad breath working the desk was creepy looking and rude. So they couldn't accommodate us . Very unorganized and rude reception. Will never recommended nor will I ever return there. If I could have giving them 0 stars I would.
