My daughter attended this preschool for 2 years, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. The staff are caring, professional and excellent at their jobs. The program helped my daughter develop confidence, independence and compassion. She flourished there. I would not hesitate to recommend Four Seasons Montessori to any of my friends. I am really surprised at the negative reviews, as those comments do not at all represent the people I interacted with for 2 years.

Life On The Island

As parents of twins we had worst experience ever in customer service, almost felt racism towards us. The teacher we were assigned to was very unpleasant, not friendly to children, she didn't care about bonding with children at all. She has concluded to management that our children were not ready for school, while it was not the case at all. We placed them into another Nanaimo Montessori school right after and they had totally different/right approach for our children to feel comfortable and welcome. It was also very harmful experience for children too. On top of everything school didn't honor the contract and didn't refund all the deposits and first month tuition fees (it was promised in the contract there will be 8 weeks of probation period, and they only had our children at school for less than 2 hours in total to conclude they aren't a good fit). We don't recommend this school.

This was a horrible experience for our family. Please avoid this school if you value the psychological safety and development of your child. This is by no means a good representation of a Montessori school. The teacher shared that they don’t believe in building relationships with kids and families. She never smiled, lacked caring and professionalism.

We were so thrilled to find this school when we moved back to the island. The move was a big shift for all of us, and finding a school that was so nurturing and attentive to our daughter's needs immediately reassured us that the transition would go well for her. We especially loved the parent night - our daughter was so proud to show us everything she was learning and we loved getting a chance to see what the school was all about!

Our children have thrived in the calm and nurturing environment, which really suited their personalities, learning and growth. The staff are extremely experienced and so skilled in teaching, not only academic but also life skills. Our older child was very well adapted when entering kindergarten in the public school system, and with a sense of curiosity, confidence and community. Our family is so grateful to be a part of Four Seasons Montessori!

I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. Both my little kids attended here 2 years each of preschool.I watched them go from shy and unsure to quickly blossoming into strong minded and so ready for kindergarten by the time we had wrapped up our time spent with this school. Adrienne is a literal angel she is so patient and nurturing and really gets to know kids & their individual needs

I absolutely love this school and the teachers but even better the kids love it more. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. I know that my children are personally taken care of. My kids look forward to going there every day. This year all three of my daughters, aged 3, 4 and 5, are attending Four Seasons together. My oldest is in the kindergarten program and says she is learning new things every day. Over the years that I have sent my kids here I have seen them excel both academically and personally. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who wants a well-rounded environment for their children to grow and learn in. Kathy Plavetic
