I love Cawthra. Like every student, its annoying to wake up early in the morning for high school, but being at Cawthra always feels worth it. This school has such a lively atmosphere, there are always activities going on and something to do as well as kind, fun and very talented students. I've made such amazing memories with the students and teachers and have never been happier to be to school. Applying here was such a great decision and I will be incredibly sad when I will have to leave for university.

Our daughter loves the school and it’s teachers. She has thrived in their visual arts program. I would highly recommend it.

I like Cawthra. I've had some fond memories here, but being a local student sucks. BIG TIME. I applied for grade 11 open drama, and the next thing I knew, they took it off. Also, we locals hardly EVER go on field trips. This school heavily favors its majors.

Great school! *ahesciencenot* <--occasionally. Otherwise very fantastique and amazing teachers (beware can be extremely sarcastic) awesome music department with great instruments (ocassionally)! :-) Extremely fun (and draining) Great architecture, (and painful Cheesegrating walls) --Flutruombaonist + crappy piano. ;-)

If only I can apply a rating of -5 stars. Cawthra park is by far the worst school in the whole district. Very unwelcoming, a lot of harsh hearted teachers including the ex Vice Principle whom goes by "Miss. Ackerman". She was a pure racist, discriminator who never showed respect, nor cared about the students in the school. The teachers are excellent at favoring students but fail to teach a class with such knowledge, thus leading many students with an atrocious mark. I wouldn't recommend sending your child to this school if you would like them to succeed in life.

Best Highschool experience you can ask for. It's basically like walking into highschool musical. Visual arts teachers and the science department are especially great!

I was a music student at Cawthra and have since completed my BSc and MSc. Everything about my school experience here was amazing except the music program itself. Almost 10yrs later Cawthra has ruined what used to be a passion for me. I had nightmares that I was still in the music program all summer after graduating, and playing has stressed me out ever since. Performance tests were very public - an absolute invasion of confidentiality/privacy. The music teachers were absolutely terrible for choosing favourites and then not providing opportunities to the other students (I wasn't interested, but multiple other peers of mine would have loved a chance).

Some of the best years of my life were spent here. As a member of the regional arts program, your friends were your competition and drove each other to get better every day. It wasn't 'fame'..it was better. I started is instrumental music, but got to get involved in drama, vocal music, musical theatre....but STILL got a solid enough education to eventually get university education in Aerospace Engineering.

An exceptional school for the arts and academics. A great school atmosphere with talented students students from all programs even the local students. Meme pages operated by some of the students rank amongst the top in The Country. Great teachers but it’s hit or miss when it comes to English.

I had a class in which I was forced to work like a janitor for a semester to pass either way don't take environmental science and also I worry more about my teachers being idiots and failing me just because they can then any course I have ever taken
